I have been visiting this location for 10+ years. The food is consistently good and it’s a favorite ‘go-to’ restaurant. Servers can be hit or miss but largely are fine. I see managers pitching in where needed and that always says a lot about a restaurant.

Shared ribs and steak nachos, very good! After drink order, promised hot bread, never saw it. Very difficult to get any refills on our iced tea. The bigger tables seemed to suck up the server’s time.

Our server, Daniel was excellent. The food was good, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The shrimp appetizer was delicious. Also, we were out of town visitors, but if I ever return to Fresno, I would eat there again.

Had a problem upon receiving our bill. I had ordered my favorite alcoholic drink - a Harvey Wallbanger. The drink was listed as such on one line of the bill with a price of $8.75. I did order a second Harvey later on during the meal and that was listed as a Signature Harvey Wallbanger, with a price of $9.50. Now, anyone who has ever had this drink knows it has three ingredients: orange juice, vodka, and Galliano liquor. So I could not understand what happened between my first order, and my second to make this a "different" drink. I pointed this discrepancy out to the waitress, who took the bill, went to her register, and came back with a new bill. The drink was now listed as a "Signature Screwdriver" and the price was $9.50 for both. I am not sure how the drinks I ordered could have morphed into something so different from the first - which was named correctly - and suddenly become a more expensive drink, on the same night , and on the same bill. But I do NOT plan to visit this Tahoe Joe's anymore. I can find suitable dining much closed to home.

We had a party of four and everyone was very pleased with their food. The menu has a good variety of choices too. We made reservations for 11:30AM, which was a good thing, as there were already guests waiting to be seated and we were seated immediately. It did take a little bit longer than I expected to actually have the food brought to the table, considering there weren't that many people seated yet. The servers were great though, very attentive. I would definitely eat there again.

My wife and I usually enjoy our meals at Tahoe Joe's. Pretty good selection of entrees. Food is well prepared most every time. TJ's has a good selection of appetizers, and side dishes to compliment the meals. I enjoy a well-made cocktail and TJ's has done a good job with their selection of drinks to, also, compliment the dining experience. A major complaint recently has been their decision to not stock Galiano, as I really enjoy Harvey Wallbangers, and Galiano is one of the ingredients of that drink. However, the Friday manager has seen to it that at least a small bottle was in stock, so I was able to order my drink yesterday. My bigger disappointment is the decision by the parent company to discontinue serving their Halibut filet entree. This had become my go-to entree when I visit TJ's. I find it always prepared to my taste, and well presented. So, I will have to consider other dining establishments for our Friday date night, if the parent company cannot see their way to bring back such a delicious dining option!

This was my first time at you restaurant and food was ok, rolls were hard my food was cold when got to table. I feel was overpriced for the quality of food. could've eaten at Texas Roadhouse for same food and half the price.

Very good food - especially the ribs dinner. Have also tried the campfire shrimp, which was good, but it did not come with choice of sides. The clam chowder was very good but not always offered. Good place for a meal!

MY wife and I have had many celebrations at Tahoe Joe's since it first opened over 25 years ago and it had become our favorite restaurant until Mr. Fansler sold it and the service and quality of the food was not as good. But it was better than other steak houses close by so we still ate there. On Friday April 14 we made a reservation and ate there again. Our meals were good but we have had better there recently. Our service was poor and though our server was friendly we felt perhaps she had too many tables to take care of for there was too much time between the time she took our order for drinks and they were served, then again too much time before we received our food, then wait, wait, wait until she was available to give us boxes for our remaining food. There were six to eight tables vacant in the pathway to our assigned table so we had to wonder if they were intentionally short staffed. Not a good experience especially for the cost to eat there. Would not recommend Tahoe Joe's to friends at this time.

Enjoyed our meal, and pretty much all that was part of our dining experience. The alcoholic beverages were very good, and served in a timely manner. Enjoyed our appetizer - Railroad camo shrimp - very much. The shrimp were as tasty as they've been in a while. Salads were good - as usual - though I forgot to order for some dry blue cheese on-the-side with mine. It was brought out quickly when I told the waitress I had forgotten to order it. And, our main course(s) were quite good. However, I was very disappointed to hear TJ's is going to discontinue the Halibut! It's done very well at this restaurant, and I specifically come to TJ's to order that for my main course! Along with the bar not stocking Galliano Liqueur for my favorite cocktail, and dropping the Halibut from the menu, I don't feel I have strong reasons to visit anymore!

Please come out really quickly. Some of the side dishes were luke warm. The mini lamps at the tables are filled with dust, every single one, that kind of ruins, my appetite.

The food is excellent especially the pork chops and the steaks. The service is hit and miss somewhere between excellent and non-existent. The ambience is rundown cabin like really run down cabin decor. This place badly needs an upgrade, tables and chairs are wobbly and uncomfortable. Everything is ancient and halfway cared for.. mostly clean but not entirely. I would order takeout.

We enjoyed our dinner so much. We started with cocktails and the artichoke & spinach dip. The drinks were well blended and really good. The appetizer was delicious. We all had the salmon and it was spectacular. Our waiter was really friendly and took great care of us. We will be back!
