Ultimately, it is the food at Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse that turns first-time restaurant visitors into long term guests. Our steaks are USDA, Midwest corn fed beef, cut thick and charbroiled over a cracklin' almond wood fire. The service was good, very attentive, had a few charges that we suppose to have come with the meal but then were charged as add ons...they need to change their wording...as expensive as restaurants are, it's nice for them to say, "would you like to add on" and know you will pay extra instead of saying " it comes with" The food tasted great and the ambiance was good, they were fast and very in sync to get table served and cleaned

Everyone loved their food except if you order something special , good luck. We ordered a salad , dressing on the side and the lettuce was swimming. We ordered a well done hamburger and it was blood red ....ugh. we couldn't eat. The waitress was a doll and everyone else loved their food.

We bought dinner vouchers for a fundraiser so decided to dine in. Our waitress was amazing. So nice, perfect pace. Our food was not great at all. We all ordered the Joes steak. It was tough, bland, weird shaped cuts, full of chewy parts. Green beans had zero flavor, we covered them in salt and pepper. Luckily we ordered buffalo wings also or we would have been really hungry leaving. The wings were good! No, we didn’t complain, it was part of a fundraiser. Very disappointing though.

Valentine’s Day will always be busy. The staff at Tahoe Joes did a great job accommodating the heavy traffic. The hostesses worked well together. The waitress did not show and stress and was extremely pleasant and helpful. She checked on out table at least 5 times after we ordered. Food was very good. Thanks for the pleasant dinner.
