It was great. Our waitress was amazing.
Great food and great service as always! The outside is the best spot if the weather is nice.
Coming from NYC, it was a great place to have a vibey dinner on a Friday night. Great food and wine. Exceeded my expectations.
The waitress gave me a hard time for not having my ID so I had to go back to my hotel to get my passport and almost didn't accept my friends ID since it was not horizontal? We're both 27 so that was just annoying. Good overall!
The overall restaurant appearance was nice. The server was very attentive and the food was good. Would recommend for friend get-togethers or dates.
Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and great service. Would recommend Tagliata to anyone visting Baltimore!!
This was an outstanding meal. Fresh homemade pastas are a must. Absolutely delicious and perfect place to try a little bit of everything. Must try appetizer is the Tuscan fried chicken. AMAZING. Best restaurant in Baltimore.
We had an amazing dining experience! We already cannot wait to go back. The food was incredible, the service was top notch!
Outstanding service, amazing food & an awesome atmosphere!
Great as always
Good atmosphere but overall it’s very expensive. Probably better just for drinks.
We had a lovely evening!
I ordered the tortellini with parmesan broth, which was slightly oversalted, not what you expect in fine dining. The squid ink campanelle was good except the chilli basil slightly overpowered the more soft tones of the dish. The tiramisu was decent. Service and ambiance were nice.
Overall it wasn't quite worth the cost.
I went here on a Sunday and got seated immediately. The waitstaff is very professional and the space is pleasant. I highly recommend the corn soup. I think it's a seasonal thing, so get it while you can. It's served cold and is really flavorful. I got a half portion of the squid ink pasta, which was quite a lot of pasta so I imagine the full size is enormous. The pasta is very good also and comes with big chunks of crab meat.
Really overpriced and mostly overrated. The food was not bad, but far from spectacular, considering the price point. Same goes for service. More of a trendy place to see and be seen than anything else. Woodberry Kitchen, for example, is a much better value for the money, as it is a truly artisanal reestaurant, and as such it’s a more interesting experience.
Dinner was amazing! Everything I tried I loved. The Tuscan Fried Chicken was some of the best chicken I have ever had in my life. The Lobster Ravioli is to die for and the Squid Ink Campanelle was superb. I will be back and very soon!
While I miss the Fleet Street Kitchen, Tagliata is a more than acceptable, if not superior , replacement.
Overall, this is one of both mine and my fiancé ‘s favorite restaurants. This past visit there were just a few hiccups that left us feeling a bit disappointed. The food was excellent as always, I always recommend the squid ink Campanelle.
However, two big issues happened with our service that left us a bit disappointed. For our appetizer, we ordered the meatballs, but upon arriving at the table, the food runner spilled some of the piping hot marinara sauce down my fiancé’s back and on his chair. I was able to get most of it out using a napkin, but it was a pretty good amount. The food runner apologized, yet still brushed it off as if it were no big deal.
Then, we ordered a $60 bottle of wine that was an excellent suggestion from our server. My fiancé had maybe 1/4 of a glass left and there was a half of a glass left in our bottle, but one of the bussers took his glass and the bottle without asking us if he were finished or topping off the wine.
The bottle was awfully pricey to remove from the table when there was a total of a full glass left. She had taken the glass and wine so quickly, we couldn’t even say anything. It wouldn’t stop me from returning, but it was just disappointing for such an upscale meal to have these things happen.
Great food, John V is an awesome server! The Somm gave some amazing wine suggestions.
From the very beginning when we were greeted warmly by David Goodman(G. M.) throughout the entire meal everything was outstanding! Food was beyond expectation Ambiance was terrific. Service was outstanding plus! I can't imagine that anyone would not be pleased to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. We have been there several times and expect to dine there many times more.
Great food and atmosphere and the price wasn’t too bad either. I will definitely be back.
My best friend was in town visiting from Boston and we had the best time! The atmosphere is incredible and the food was outstanding.
The food and service are excellent. Tagliata has become a reliable option for special occasions. We've celebrated birthdays, graduations, and other events here and they are all memorable meals. This time it was a birthday and our server, Lee, made sure we were well taken care of.
We had the squid ink pasta, which is remarkable, along with an exquisite Bolognese, which is my favorite. For entrees we had the duck and the lamb. These were rounded out with a gnocchi and an eggplant stuffed spinach pasta with golden tomato sauce that our server recommended. Everything was cooked to perfection while the service was friendly and knowledgeable. Tagliata also has an impressive wine list for all budgets.
Delightful and delicious
For our anniversary we booked dinner to celebrate. The restaurant gave us a card of well wishes, glasses of champagne and limoncello after dinner. Staff was amazing as on top of our meal. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Everything was absolutely amazing. My only criticism would be that the hostess was not very friendly at all. I felt like an inconvenience to her.
Was excellent as always!! Our server, Tanner was attentive and helpful! It’s one of my favorite spots and I bring all of my friends there!
The non-steak portion of the menu was decent value but the steak portion was extremely overpriced. I had the NY Strip Steak which was decent but nothing special and certainly not worth the $68 price. I've had steaks at other steak houses such as the Capital Grill in Wash DC, the Prime Rib in Baltimore and Davio's in Philadelphia which were equal or better and lower priced. Tagliata was nice but nothing special. The service was decent but missing small touches such as offering ground pepper or parmesan when appetizers and entrees were served. The table setting did not include olive oil which was unusual for an Italian restaurant. If you're going to charge these prices, everything should be to the highest performance level and I did not find this to be the case at Tagliata.
Superb overall! A must when in Baltimore
Myself, along with several friends, have made this place our "go to" for the best menu in town. the meatballs are amazing and the pasta's are to die for. Count mein for gaining a few punds the next fe months! Love everything about the dining experience.
I love true Italian cuisine and this place fits the bill!
Service was disappointing. 5 Star dining and our server had horrible body odor. Was disgusting. And she would reach across the table to refill the wine and it was beyond awful seeing her armpits totally pitted out in her blouse.
Food was very good but I will have a very tough time getting my husband to go back after that unfortunate experience.
Tagliata more than lived up to their hype. We had 7:00 reservations and were immediately greeted and then escorted to our table by our server. She was superb! She had excellent knowledge about all items on the menu and was helpful and patient while we navigated the selections. We loved the timing of the delivery of our selections. We felt relaxed and enjoyed the total experience. Tagliata’s ambient noise level did at times make it difficult to hold a conversation and that is the only negative thing I can possibly say about this magnificent dining experience. Thank you Tagliata for a lovely, lovely evening.
Just my second time there and it was as fantastic as the first time. Food is excellent. I had the meatball appetizer and lobster ravioli. Service was excellent too. Ambience is very nice. Can't wait to go back and check out the Speak Easy next door...the Elk Room.
Beet salad was out of this world though the vodka sauce was not as expected.
Food was inventive and tasty. Service was friendly and professional. The bar and kitchen were quite slow to deliver but that was off-set by comps for our cocktails and by the quality of the food. It was a slow summer night between rainstorms, so there maybe the restaurant wasn’t at full staff. Overall we had a good experience and will go again.
Overall, we had a good experience at Tagliata. I enjoyed my special cocktail, and the food was very good. The chilled corn bisque was especially good. The service on our night was a bit uneven. We waited a long time for someone to come and take our drink order. When the server finally arrived, we placed our full meal order as well, but were surprised when our appetizers came out before we had even received our drinks. However, the manager made every effort to make things right and was very solicitous of the demands of my elderly parents.
