Very considerate with reservation! It was our anniversary, and the server surprised us with champagne. Will definitely go back for special occasions!
Hands down the best restaurant in Baltimore. Fantastic food and service. The roasted carrot appetizer is the best!
It has been over a year since I've dined at Tagliata and I enjoyed the experience again; however, the noise in the back dining room is very loud and it made it very difficult to have a meaningful conversation with others around our table. The food and service were great, but the overall volume of noise in the dining room was not enjoyable for me.
Fabulous birthday celebration!! Delicious food and wonderful staff
Amazing! Get the meatballs 🤗
It was my wife’s 30th birthday and they gave us each a glass of Lambrusco on the house and then gave us some Limoncello and Tiramisu to end the night all on the house.
Absolutely outstanding. Danielle was a great sever for our table
I would recommend Tagliata because the food was good. However, $28 for a bowl of pasta is pretty ridiculous. So I would also warn people that it is very expensive.
Always outstanding food and service the piano bar adds a very nice ambiance
Wonderful environment and customer service! You can tell the employees were trained to treat customers with the upmost respect and priority. It got a little loud once a large group was sat at a table next to us, but thankfully we were almost ready to go. Despite that, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely recommend to our friends and family. The Tuscan Fried Chicken was great! We will be back!!
Went to celebrate for my birthday and between menu choices to experience it will definitely be a place I dine at again. Food was amazing along with the drinks!
Lovely dinner! Food was delicious, the service was attentive, the “piano man” an extra bonus.
excellent food and service. cannot wait to return!
Great service, great food, and very nice decor. Thank you!
I have had great experiences at Tagliata. The menu is nice and not pretentious. Food is excellent. This visit the service was a bit off. Food came out of the kitchen at odd times. My friend didn’t get the meatballs he ordered. Just an off night.
Great server! Food quality was poor. Chicken parmijana was served cold. Noise level was very high could hardly hear each other. Tables were too close . Waitress passing by would always hit my chair.
Service was outstanding as usual, the chicken marsala was amazing, and the dessert was some of the best I've ever had. No matter the occasion, Tagliata is the place to go. If it's still on the menu, the butternut squash pasta dish is out of this world.
Too much time between courses but otherwise an outstanding dinner. Food was terrific and waitress was wonderful.
From the ambiance to the service, everything was great. I cannot remember the waitress name but she was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back for a repeat dinner experience.
A little dark, but had a beautiful date who was glowing with joy over the delicious bread, salad, tortellini soup, meatballs, and lobster ravioli.
The restaurant doesn’t follow their own dress code. I was expecting a sophisticated quiet atmosphere and was very disappointed. The food was good but certainly not exceptional.
I am running out of plaudits to heap on Tagliatti. Perhaps one of the best things one can say is that is consistent and still has the "it" factor ... consistently excellent, with solicitous service, and always a great time. Yes it is loud, but quite frankly Baltimore needs more of loud ambience with people who are committed to having a great time in a great atmosphere with great food. If one wants pretense without the same level of service and food quality, feel free to go to Alexander Brown. If one wants an environment in which someone wearing a sport coat is comfortable sitting next to someone wearing a jean jacket or no jacket at all, then go here. Tagliata may be on its way to becoming the Prime Rib of Harbor East ... but as a modern institution, which people hopefully will be able to go to for years to come.
Service was outstanding. Squid ink pasta was unique and delicious. Atmosphere was nice. Def recommend.
Fabulous meal, with excellent and engaged service. The impromptu tour of the wine cellar was a surprise bonus.
Hostess never said hello. Basically looked at us and waited for us to tell them what we needed. Service started great but then once entree came never saw him again. No one checked to make sure food came out ok. Once entrees were cleared by someone else, another waiter came to ask about desert and then settled our check. The sauce that came with the chicken parm was gross and lacked any flavor.
Wonderful food, great Christmas Eve dinner. Such a special
The only real downside to the evening was the noise level. The food was delicious and our server was most knowledgeable. Most especially delicious was the blue crab and squid ink Ink pasta with uni cream sauce. Amazing!
My husband and I enjoy going out to a nice meal at the holidays, and this place did not disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful, the service was great (they didn’t rush us:), and the food...!!!
We loved the restaurant, how ever the pasta and the main course were both a little salty.
We were overall disappointed in our dinner at Tagliata. The noise level was obnoxious due to a very noisy private party that was only blocked off from the dinning area by curtains not walls. The appetizers were very good but the entrees were disappointing. The pasta dishes were overpriced for the value. My wife had the tomahawk rib eye which was not good at all and not nearly worth the $74 cost. We will not be back!
The service was great to start to finish, the waitress was attentive and constantly checking on us. The place had a great feel, I do not mind how loud it could get from time to time and the singing entertainment was great. Food was worth every penny, we started off with two appetizers. The calamari was made differently but I liked that twist and the meatballs were cooked perfectly. The main course of Swordfish and salmon were cooked perfectly as well. The salmon would melt in your mouth, I thought the swordfish might have been over seasoned on the first bite but I was wrong.
From the food to the wait staff everything was amazing. The only criticism I would give would be the lighting. Extremely dim lit so made it hard to see the menu and speak with friends. Besides that 5 star all the way!
The service was incredible. The ambiance was very nice. The food tasted fabulous. My only criticism is $18 for 5 tortellini is a little much. I never have a problem with paying for good food. But that just seemed a little high for 5 pieces of pasta. Other then that the restaurant was very good.
Valet should be free when you charge $68 for a steak but it’s $12. Tables are close together and it’s noisy
I had a wonderful time
Really excellent food. Neat atmosphere. Danny our waitress was great. Everything we had was excellent. Only complaint was the lasagna. It was a bit dry with. too much tomato sauce. I thought the host and hostess were both a bit s nitty and proud of themselves. I said as much to the restaurant directly. I'd definitely return..
Went for my anniversary. Had a couple happy hour food and drinks at the bar, while we were waiting to be seated. Our reservation was at 4. We got to our table and was congratulated on our anniversary. We ordered the half lobster ravioli and half squid ink pasta. Was given the butter for the bread and right away. The food came out before any bread. Never got the cheese that comes with the bread. After our food was brought we did not see our waitress again until the end. Sat with empty bowls for 5 min then the bread guy brought us more bread and offered us cheese (that we never got initially). Sat for another 5 min then the waitress came back. We were going to order dessert but did not appreciate the service so we opted to not try the gelato trio. The only thing that saved the service was that we were offered a free limoncello shot and a tiramisu slice to go. Our reservation was at 4pm and we were the only ones there initially and the only table of this waitress, so we thought we should've been given excellent service. She was absent most of the dinner. Food was delicious, wish the mascarpone in the ravioli was creamier. Would probably only be back for happy hour because the service at the bar was much better than the service upstairs.
This was a lunch, so I did not get an opportunity to see the entire menu. But the menu was more than adequate.
The food was wonderful. Of particular note was the tray of meats and cheeses and giardianari. It was a wonderful mixture. Our meals were equally great. We had the chicken marsala, the chicken parmigiana, the pasta Bolognese and the penne ala vodka. All of the dishes were very well done and tasty.
This is one restaurant where I have been which can make an espresso correctly (the way they make it in Rome!) It is also unusual to find a restaurant in the US which has a list of Italian digestivi (after dinner drinks) you can rarely find Cynar or Averna offered in an Italian restaurant.
On the noise note, there was a very large party in the next room, but it did not raise the noise level significantly.
The service was great. Our waitress answered every question we had about the various dishes clearly and patiently. She was not "hovering" around our table, but at the same time she was there whenever we needed her.
I would certainly recommend this place highly to anyone looking for a very good Italian meal.
Great food and nice atmosphere. Too loud. Service was great.
