Came here for my wife's birthday and was not disappointed. The food was great, service excellent, and while busy, the acoustics allowed us to actually communicate without shouting at each other.
Delicious, high quality food. Down to earth, knowledgeable staff. Excellent experience, would return again.
We had a 7:15 p.m. reservation, when we got there is was listed as 7:45 p.m. At 7:45 p.m. they seated us in the Lounge b/c it was going to be another 20-30 minute wait for the dining room. We were seated in furniture that is no doubt used outside in nice weather, behind a random curtain and it was super loud. Disappointed in this service but the food is always great. Not sure I will be quick to go back.
Outstanding service and the food matched. Great Find in Baltimore!
Hands down the best Italian food I have tasted so far in Baltimore.
Everything was great!
Great all around
Spectacular food and service. Expensive
My favorite place!
The highlight of our evening was the time spent with the sommelier in helping us select a wine for the table. He was excellent! The meal was delicious and we enjoyed it all.
Everything about this place is terrific.
We had a great time at Tagliata! It was our first time their and we were impressed with the food and the service. We would definitely come back and recommend
We went to Tagliata for Christmas Eve and while they did not do anything special for this particular day, we really enjoyed our experience. This is the third time that I've dined at Tagliata and it's quickly becoming one of my top/favorite restaurants in Baltimore. The service was on point, the wine list is extensive, and the food was excellent. It's not the cheapest place to dine, but you definitely get what you pay for there. Would highly recommend for a date or friendly get together.
The food was pretty good, but the service was horrendous. Went there for Christmas Eve dinner with family. The server was highly disorganized, uninterested, inattentive. He required reminders to bring out a few things that were forgotten. Pasta course and meat course were brought out at the same time. Certain things from early in the meal (finished) were never cleared from the table. He was generally rude and unapologetic. The server kind of ruined the mood of what was to be a celebratory meal.
Waitress and staff was nice. The food was tasty and everything went smoothly
Amazing food and service
While they were running behind, the staff was still accommodating and made our wait short and pleasant. Fantastic service with even better meals that were worth the wait. Highly recommend!
Difficult to get a reservation on Saturday night, I was able to get a late reservation and called to see if they could change it for a later time and they were very accommodating.
My favorite was the home made pasta, cooked to perfection.
A little bit on the pricey side but we truly enjoyed it.
Food and ambiance excellent! Server not so much!
Amazing time!! Can’t wait to come back. Exceptional service and food
It was my first time at Tagliata and it was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed the squid ink pasta entree. I look forward to going back soon.
Tagliata is our favorite restaurant for special occasions or date nights! The service, the quality of the food, and the atmosphere they create is both romantic and spectacular! Thank you for ANOTHER wonderful experience.
Solid food, great wine great service
Food was blah and very salty. There are many better choices in Little Italy in B’more that are less hyped and better priced.
Went there for carpaccio -- they no longer have it on their menu; and for fois gras -- they no longer have it on their menu, and, for house made olives with their charcuterie -- they no longer have house made olives. Our wait staff said the house made olives don't keep. (What?!?) Service was fair. Noise level so loud my husband and I couldn't hear each other to celebrate his birthday. Won't go back anytime soon.
Wonderful evening, food, service, music all flawless.
Amazing food. Not as expensive as you might assume
Great food & service. This group does an annual holiday lunch and we decided to do something new and everyone enjoyed the experience!
Food was over seasoned with salt. Waitress was terrible, intrurrpting our conversation and was not familiar with the ingredients on the menu, was not personable.
I wanted to like it so much and have heard great things, but I was not impressed.
Appetizer of Calamari was incredible; well seasoned and properly portioned. Entree was disappointing: Risotto was over-salted and undercooked (way before al-dente). Ordered a NY strip medium-rare, came out blue-rare to raw in the center, asked for it to be re-fired and they just threw the halved steak back onto the grill. This resulted in a proper medium rare in the center, but overdone everywhere else (well done), effectively ruining the entire cut. Waitress was uninterested, bored and corrected me when I said it was nearly raw to saying it was "just too rare for you." No manager apologies or visit. I'd expect that level of care for a food-chain, not of a restaurant of this price point. Primarily will not come back due to lack of hospitality.
Really great atmosphere, service, and most importantly amazing food! Will be back
Great experience. Pricier restaurant but fantastic service and exquisite food.
We’re big fans of Tagliata and go here for my mom’s birthday every year. This time, she got the halibut which was over cooked and did not smell great. She took a few bites, but couldn’t eat the rest of it. Upon seeing this, the server asked if there was a problem, which my mom described. The server simply said “okay.” For the prices at Tagliata, you’d expect an apology, offer to bring something else out, or something to improve the experience. Will be back, but unfortunately a disappointing experience this time.
At riask of repeating what everyone else has already mentioned many times, Tagliata is a gem of a place for creative Italian fare. Go with everyone else’s suggestions and throw in an excellent wine (we had the Primativo) and share dessert and it’s a night worth paying for. Cocktails were nice, too. We went with bourbon and it was delicious. Our sever was lovely and helpful.
Good food with solid service.
I was looking forward to my Birthday dinner - Reservation for 4 at 7:00 on a Tuesday night - we had to wait in a very small crowded entryway - we were finally seated at 7:30 - and then we were seated at the worst table in the restaurant- it was right outside the kitchen in an area by itself - Tagliata Should be embarrassed that they have a table like that - in hindsight we should have walked out ! 3 of us did not order appetizers because we ordered the pasta special that our server raved about so we decided to share it before our meal ! It never arrived and our server was clueless when we asked about it - she said we never ordered it after she basically talked us into ordering it because it was so amazing! That was embarrassing and was just brushed under the table by our server !
I ordered the tenderloin which was perfectly cooked - the roasted potatoes were so beyond salty I couldn't eat them ! Overall the food is very good but we were so disappointed and dissatisfied with the service that it overshadows the wonderful chef ! So for my big night out I got the worst table in the place - no appetizer ... still confused by that one ... a tenderloin steak and potatoes that were seriously too salty to eat ! It was not a good night !
Amazing food and service. Went to celebrate my sisters Birthday and they really made her feel special. Gave us complimentary half pasta dish & limoncello!
Our reservation was for 8:45 on a Saturday night, and although it was 40 degrees and pouring, the place was absolutely packed. It took a little while to put in a drink order, but our server was lovely. The table next to us was quite loud, and the atmosphere in general was active and energetic. It was a little difficult to hear across the table until maybe 9:30. Drinks were good- martini was generous. The arugula salad was very lemony but the thin pear slices were a sweet touch. The halibut was good, even though the top was slightly dry. Complimentary Lemoncello shots after dinner were a nice touch, as was my husband’s birthday dessert- yummy and chocolate. We’ll definitely return!
I normally love the Atlas group restaurants. While the pasta appetizers were exceptional and the staff was professional and friendly, the veal chop main course was just ok and very fatty. The restaurant was far too noisy, even at 6:00, and that's based on how it was constructed. Most importantly, we felt very rushed by the staff. That has not been my experience at their other restaurants, and has me thinking twice as to whether I want to return
