   Excellent wine pairing and meal. Superb setting in the speakeasy downstairs and very much enjoyed Ellie the wine distributor who informed about all the wines and shared the meal with the group. Each dish was perfectly prepared and the entire menu was magnificent with the service the usual superb by Taft Diaz. Strongly recommend Taft-Diaz restaurant to anyone who enjoys great meals and settings.

   My five cousins and I had brunch at Taft-Diaz today. It was our first time there. Compared to other nice restaurants in El Paso, this place is excellent! It took about 25 minutes for the food to arrive, but we had read that this is usual there, so we were prepared for the wait, since we had a lot of catching up to do. Four of us had the Brunch Burger. The burgers and fries were delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the Stanton Breakfast. The home style potatoes were perfectly cooked! One cousin ordered the deep fried French toast. It comes with whipped cream cheese, seasonal berries and pecans. This was consumed very quickly! The only thing I would change is that perhaps the size of the small coffee cup that is included with the Stanton Breakfast could be a bit larger. The coffee was fresh - not too strong or too weak. For dessert, we shared a six-inch wide chocolate tort topped with what tasted like whipped cream cheese. Fresh berries covered the whipped cream cheese. It was not overly sweet, which is the way we like our desserts. The food tastes fresh and the portions are just right. The waiter was polite and attentive. The place is modern, elegant and immaculate. The sunlight from the high ceiling conveys a gentle sun room atmosphere. I especially like the fact that there is no music and no tv screens, which are too common in restaurants today. Delicious food and good conversation is what it is all about. I very much look forward to my next visit to Taft-Diaz.

   The food was amazing. We will be going back to try out other items on the menu. Excellent service as well.

   Wine was great. Gnocchi was phenomenal. But the chicken was very dry and tough to chew. Also, desert options are lacking. For two people, $250 is a heavy price tag for underwhelming food.

   We eat here once a month for brunch when we stay at the Stanton House. The avocado toast with poached eggs, country potatoes, and bacon are amazing. Excellent bloody Mary and coffee. Raul was our server this morning and his service was fantastic.

   Love this place! Drove all day just to dine here. Everything was spectacular from the hostess that sat us to the doorman on the way out. It’s a must! We had Kate as a waitress and her calming demeanor with the knowledge of food made the dining experience “top notch”.

   Excellent collaboration meal with Indian food at Taft-Diaz. Had both chefs come describe each course and wait staff was as always EXCELLENT! (Thank you Angela!) Buttered chicken with goat biryani were tasty dishes, but the halibut taco with curry was my favorite. Once again a Taft-Diaz home run!

   Food was great, as always. Kitchen was a bit slow. Servers knew every inch of the menu, and were very friendly and polite. Hotel is an amazing gem downtown.

    This was our first visit to Taft Diaz. The bartender, waitress and manager were all amazing. We had the Australian Wagyu with macaroni and cheese and risotto. Do not skip the mac n cheese. The drinks were delicious as well.
