Service was not very good. I was sitting down for about 15mins and no server came by and no one brought water. We were totally ignored. So I had to get up and ask hostess to please send me a server. Asked server for water and some time later still no water. Manager was walking around and brought us water. Overall poor service and very quick to bring the check. Probably would not go back again. Left much to be desired.

Hosted a birthday party for my girlfriend here. The staff was a pleasure to work with and accommodated my every need. Not cheap but overall the experience was worth it. Menu was unique, ambiance was excellent and service was excellent.

We loved our dinner at Tabu. Beautifully decorated and the food was delicious . The staff were friendly and well mannered . We ordered cornbread with one of the three toppings absolute must try. The spicy guac was delish as well. Korean mushroom Tacos a must have .Drinks were pretty good as well. I would like to go again to try some other foods.

The vibe in the restaurant is awesome. Love the decor, the music, all of it. The food was great but the portions were small. Two tacos for $19! They were good but not worth the money. The rattlesnake burger, however, was great. The desserts were hefty and worth the price and worthy of sharing. We ordered two desserts for four people but that was too much. Definitely paying extra for the ambiance of this place.

Came for my cousins birthday, visiting from Polska. Turns out she is vegetarian! Thankfully Tabu had several veggie options and they were phenomenal! We all loved the dishes. We also got sea bass and several meat tacos including bone marrow taco. Every single item on the menu was 5 star… I would award this place a Michelin star! Absolutely must go to restaurant

The food and drinks were incredible. Super inventive cuisine. The dishes were extremely flavorful. Drinks were creative and tasty. Our server Tien was very cool and guided us well through the menu. We appreciated his honest and his recommendations. I only have 2 complaints: 1) it was really dark and I could not see the menu. 2) our plates kept getting bused before we were done with our food. But those things are minor. We would definitely go back to Tabu. We had a great experience.

We came to celebrate a new beginnings and it was nice overall. Food was great ordered the ceviche ( love ceviche but not a fan of this at all) lobster flautas (uhmazing) got the steak frites super good and drinks were so good ! Ended the meal with deserts I’ll definitely come back and try the brunch !!!

We we’re running late but they were very understanding in seating us since we made it in the grace period. Was able to ask for a bigger table which was helpful. Server wasn’t as attentive as I would’ve liked, however the food was amazing and the ambiance was very picture worthy.

This place was BOMB. The food was honestly so uniquely put together. The habanero pomegranate guac and the truffle gnocchi tacos were amazing and highly recommend. The cocktails too were very well put together and you could taste every flavor. Honestly top 3 Chicago restaurants I’ve been to.

There was a minor mix up with one of our dishes and the staff did an absolute fantastic job of making sure that we were satisfied. The food and ambience are wonderful in many of the city restaurants but positive customer care is what sets this place above the rest!
