   The fact that this restaurant is emailing me to ask for a review is beyond a joke. I would have liked to write a 10/10 review of how good the experience was, but unfortunately on arrival the restaurant was closed. Myself and 10 others arrived for my birthday meal at Tabu after booking a private booth and paying £100 the restaurant did not inform us that they were closed. Very disappointing.

   I booked my table for my birthday celebrations on a Wednesday night. I travelled from another city and when I arrived at Tabu, the restaurant was closed. I was not informed of this and received confirmations of the booking. Since messaging the restaurant, I have not received a response

   There was a very entertaining DJ that was not too loud. Service was 10/10 especially Tai and Stephan, they paid attention to detail. I definitely recommend the duck salad!

   Everything was amazing. Great communication with Arun leading up to the booking. We were a table of 14 and everything was amazing. Thank you guys

   Food was outstanding couldn’t fault it but the service is very slow we was the only table in there at the time and it was still very slow so I dread to think how slow service would be if it was busy also no one saw us out it come across quite rude I would recommend for food but not the staff service

   Attended for my birthday. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Food and cocktails were great. Overall wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend, I'd definitely return.

   The sushi was good but the other dishes offered were quite small and weren’t advertised as small plates. We thought the meal was too expensive for what we received

   Food and aesthetic were lovely, service really not great. Food took a long time to arrive, especially considering a low guest capacity. 3 items missing from orders, which were requested again but didn't arrive. Bilk had to be calculated 3 times due to restaurant error.

    This place never disappoints with the food, service and overall vibe! On our arrival at Tabu the front-of-house lovely lady welcomed me and my friend with an assurance that they're aware of specific allergies that we had disclosed when booking, giving my friend peace of mind, the manager (Manos) then came over and spoke with us again regarding allergies and what he recommended. Honestly could not fault them, service was amazing with Manos then looking after us all night when the rest of our friends unexpectedly arrived without booking making space for them and making us feel welcome what a lovely and professional guy. Would not go anywhere else if you’re looking for a good night in bham, with amazing food and also aesthetically beautiful for pictures!
