We had a great New
Orleans experience at Tableau and recommended it to others at the conference we attended
The food was good but our server was incredibly rude.
The food was FANTASTIC but sadly our service left us wanting more.
Food and cocktails were good, but honestly the slowest service ever.
Tableau was awesome! Food and drinks were incredible, and you can’t beat the location. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. We had a larger group, a few with food allergies, and everyone we interacted with was helpful and excited to have us dining with them. The oysters are not to be missed! Whenever I’m back in New Orleans, I’ll definitely be visiting Tableau again.
Great experience! Perfect French 75- with gin! Delicious oysters with a story. Wonderful black Drum special. We had a great dinner.
We had a terrific Sunday brunch, and they did not skimp on the bottomless mimosas! The soup was delicious as was the Eggs Tableau. The portions were so large that I wasn't able to finish everything, but I did make room for the creme brulee. Will definitely return!
Food &Service was great. Will definitely be going again
Awesome experience! We loved the jazz brunch!
Had an amazing night at Tableau with my girlfriend—-they really went above an beyond to make her birthday night special.
One of my favorite restaurants. Love eating on the balcony overlooking Jackson Square. Happy hour is awesome. Food is always delicious.
The hostess was rude but after we got past her it was wonderful
Very friendly service including those staff who helped us find the elevator. Accommodating a table at a very late hour 10:30pm. Nice balcony area for dinner
The best dining experience! Dominick went above and beyond to provide us with the best time. We will be back!
I have loved this restaurant for years and visit often. This trip on the other hand was terrible. Food was cold and service was non-existent. Had to continually ask for drinks took twice each time and we were left with no service, having to stop other servers to find ours. Maybe it was an off day, but unacceptable. Did not tell manager as he was the one that finally realized we really needed our check and the dishes removed. Will have to seriously consider going back.
Food was good. We had a party of 8 and most people seemed to enjoy their meal. It wasn’t too busy in the restaurant, but overall service just seemed too slow pace. Servers were nice and friendly, but I just think our dining experience could have been shorter than 2 1/2 hours.
Food was wonderful, service staff was excellent, the atmosphere is lovely. We will be going back to this restaurant on our next trip to New Orleans.
Food was outstanding however their service “team” was was not in sync. It’s too bad because we so wanted to go to that restaurant but the service was a big disappointment.
Super slow service and food is mediocre at best so many better places same price as this food just better quality! I wouldn’t come back too cliche!
Excellent lunch. Very fresh ingredients. Very attentive service.
Not *bad* food but certainly not an outstanding experience, given the price and all. Oysters Bienville appetiser was pretty good but the fish entree did not stand out from the crowd and the chocolate torte was meh. Service was outstanding though! Five stars for that, at least 👍
excellent service and delicious food.. will sure be coming back here when we are in town..
Menu very limited for my taste....got the chicken tableau...
Chicken was alright....potatoes and the stuff under it almost inedible... lemon mousse desert was pretty good.
Service was very good and personable. 2 nd time I tried this restaurant...unless they change their menu or chef...not returning, too many better choices and prices a bit high.
Good food but not exceptional. (To be fair, anywhere outside New Orleans I would give the food a better rating but there's so much outstanding food in the city that this was one of our more underwhelming experiences.) Server was very nice and eager but made some mistakes with the next table's order and bill. Probably the highlight was the view from the balcony which overlooked a nearby park and was great for people-watching.
Great service, delicious food and a beautiful setting! Definitely try the French Onion Soup and the gnocchi appetizer! The house salad was just ok. We split an entree and still couldn't finish it!
A gem in The French Quarter — The food was delicious and the service was remarkable! Really enjoyed the Aperol Spritz and cannot say enough about the Turtle Soup, Crystal Shrimp and Oysters Bienville. Being able to sit at a table on the balcony and listen to live music from Jackson Square below was an added bonus for a wonderful lunch in The Quarter.
The food was delish and the service was exceptional - will definitely return
It was a great evening.
This was by far my favorite meal of our entire trip, and we ate at commanders palace, Brennan’s, and fogo de chao! Highly recommend the crab rivogote and eggs tableau!!! Worth every penny!
Granted this was a Monday lunch in August, but the place was empty except for two other tables. That wouldn't have been so bad, but the food was not very good. The gumbo was great, but the duck salad was not good at all. The duck meat wasn't fresh and the only other items in the salad were a few cherry tomatoes, red onions, and a few pecan halves. I was disappointed.
Great food. Great service. Conveniently located. I highly recommend this place.
We can’t say enough good things about Tableau! We originally planned to try Tableau for brunch and bottomless mimosas, but our schedule didn’t allow it. We decided instead to go for dinner and boy, did we make the right choice. Our dinner was phenomenal from start to finish. The ambiance was elegant, the staff was quick and delightful, and the food - oh my, the food was to die for. We started with the Demi Royale, at our host’s suggestion (even though we questioned if we would like the truffle crab claws) and fell in love immediately. At our server’s suggestion, I had the light and scrumptious Redfish Bienville that was topped with a sauce that should be bottled. My husband had the New York strip which was huge and cooked to perfection. The frisée salads were just the right touch to our meals. We appreciated that the meals weren’t gluttonously big, but enough to fill us without regretting it later. We finished with the tarte a la bouille and the chocolate torte which were sinfully delicious. We weren’t celebrating anything, but Tableau made us feel as if we were. We were catered to beyond our expectations. Chatting with the host and our servers throughout our meal was a pleasure, but to have the chef greet us tableside was a truly pleasant surprise. Wow. This was a dining experience never to be forgotten and one that set the bar pretty high for our future dinners elsewhere. Thank you, Tableau! We will be back!
Great!!! Fantastic staff
Great oysters and the redfish entree was outstanding.
Good all around. Good food good service good location. We sat at a table at the corner on the balcony and overlooking Jackson square.
The food is excellent yet the atmosphere is why I go because I love sitting outside on the porch!!
A great environment right down in the heart of Jackson Square. The food was great and the atmosphere was classic NOLA with the view of the garden from your table. There is also a nice wine selection available.
Roughly 25 family members came in for an impromptu brunch the morning after my daughter’s New Orleans destination wedding. We are from the Baton Rouge area so we come to Nola often and frequently eat at Tableau. I knew the quality of the food would be top notch. My concern was that we would have difficulties with such a large, last minute event. Tableau was able to give us a private area with no problems and the service was excellent!
Their three piece band came into our room and played several wedding themed songs for my daughter.
Thanks Tableau for making the end of our wedding weekend special!
We were in town for a wedding on Friday night. Saturday morning we woke up and wanted to have brunch in Nola before heading home. We had 27 people and made 5 different open table reservations. I called Tableau’s before heading over and explained that we would like all of our tables in the same area of the restaurant if possible. The manager was so nice and accommodating. They set us up in a separate room and we were able to enjoy brunch together - it was so much fun and delicious! We couldn’t have planned it better!
