Extraordinary! Amazing food, we did the chef’s tasting menu...they knocked themselves out! The building is beautiful...the service extraordinary. The attention to detail is perfect, down to their beautiful dishes. I want to ship that bread home. It is a lovely place and you will have a chance to push you palate to the edge. It is a treat for sure.

My goal in eating out is to experience excellent food that I wouldn't or couldn't do for myself. I've eaten at Table X three or four times now and have not been disappointed yet. The flavor combinations are tasty and creative and encourage slow savoring of the dish which makes it a fun place to eat leisurely with friends.

Some dishes were really good and some, not so good. I loved the mushroom appetizer and the Burrata appetizer but the pork chop was overcooked dry and tasteless. Very disappointed. My daughter had the squid pasta and thought it was very mediocre. My husband has the foie gras and felt the portion size could have been a bit more substantial. The homemade sourdough bread was excellent! I love that they are sourcing local ingredients.

Went here on the last evening of a 4 day trip to Salt Lake, and Table X was by far the highlight out of all of our meals. Innovative, tasty, well-cooked meals with interesting flavor combinations that were not overwhelming. The space is beautiful and service was excellent. This has to be one of the best restaurants in the city. Will absolutely go back next time I'm in town.

This was my first time at Table X! It was a bit expensive, but definitely worth the experience. Everyone was nice and helpful, the food was the best I've ever had eating out, and it was a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. I loved everything about it. I hope to go back soon.

This is an outstanding restaurant. The food is creative, innovative and delicious. Service is extremely professional. I liked it so much I went twice in one week. Over the course of two meals I had burrata, a tiny pasta appetizer, scallops, steak, chocolate mousse and goat's milk pudding, all exceptional. Highly recommended.

Table X is an amazing spot. The food is far beyond any restaurant’s capabilities in Utah. It’s not trendy or trite. It’s completely it’s own style with a fresh new outlook on pairings and flavor. I’ve never had anything quite like it. Every detail has been taken into consideration. I’m very impressed. The only disagreements I have had are on personal preference and even those are respectfully considered by the staff. Great work. I’ve eaten at the most expensive places in the country and this place manages to capture the most complex flavors and culinary nuances while maintaining an every day experience so one is able to come frequently. Wow!

Wonderful experience - I did the tasting menu which at only $55 is an incredible way to experience A good portion of Table X’s menu. In addition to creativity and quality comparable to San Francisco fine dining (where I live, which is a very high bar) the service was like that at a Michelin Star restaurant: the playing and presentation was beautiful but there were a few “surprise and delight” moments - a very tasty amuse bouche, an additional course I wasn’t expecting and a second mini dessert - I won’t say what the second dessert was though because I don’t want to ruin the surprise. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable as well. If you have one dinner at Salt Lake, the tasting menu here should be it.

Impeccable service, exceptionally accommodating, and great food. The decor is excellent without being stuffy. It's the little details that add up to a well thought-out dining experience. The website's reason (value statement) for existence isn't a lie or even an overstatement. This place is exactly as advertised (and more).

Another incredible experience at Table X. We once again had the 5 course tasting menu and each course was delicious, beautiful and perfectly prepared. Our favorites on this visit were the bread (of course!), Scarpinocc Pasta and Tasmanian Ocean Trout. The Meyer Lemon Pudding with blueberries was so good we wanted to lick our plates. Our server Emily was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We hope to be back soon!

My group had the tasting menu which is always a great option. However at the end of the tasting menu it felt as though the restaurant was watching their food cost very closely with that menu. I would be interested to go back and see he difference in portion size between the al a cart and tasting menu.

Quite possibly the best restaurant in the valley. Kitchen and service staff on top of their game, night after night. An inventive menu that often offers an adventurous take on a traditional plate, and often an original creation that pushes boundaries, but stays in the realm of delicious. The wait staff is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. It’s impossible to have a bad experience here, in my HO.

We were celebrating our son taking his bar exam. What a special way to enjoy ourselves with the chef’s 5 course meal. The wine pairings made it even more delightful. The service was outstanding as well. It’s going there to have an excellent experience!

It was our first time here. We really enjoyed our meal. We did not realize the main course is separate from any salads or sides and it would have been nice to have someone explain that. The food was amazing. Our server was very very nice and helpful at the beginning of our meal but did not come back much after the initial introductions and taking our order. We were left sitting for long periods of time. At the end of our meal we were left with no water and I am not sure if that was an oversight or if they want you to leave. It feels like a restaurant you should be able to linger at and it would be nice if they would have checked on us and offered more water, especially since they added a 20 percent mandatory tip on our bill since we had a party of 7. Overall it was a good experience and we plan to come back.

I had high hopes, our typical hang has gone downhill and I wanted to try something new and fancy. The ambience was great, service great (took some time to crumb the table though 2 courses past). The food presentation was beautiful, but the food flavor though...meh. We got the chef's tasting menu thinking its a safe bet for a first time diner. The flavors were mediocre, the steak overcooked and chewy. The best things were a pate croutons sort of thing and the ocean trout. One wasn't part of the courses, the other was the only good part of 5 courses. I wasn't even excited by the chocolate mousse, it was still kind of pedestrian. I can get a better mousse at Trader Joes. And when we got home I had a servere upset stomach and bloating. I wouldn't recommend it. And for the price point we were so disappointed we won't be back.

Love this restaurant and what the kitchen is trying to accomplish. However they need to work out a few things to get to a five star rating. We had a pasta bone marrow starter that was simply not delicious, and a braised fennel and bean salad that we felt, as a winter salad, should not have been served cold. Our main courses were delicious but still not a five star rating. My pork chop was a tad over cooked. We would encourage the kitchen to simplify offerings and adding a few more things to the menu, like a chicken dish and another vegetarian offering. The service was fantastic, the wines were great, and the ambience is wonderful. We will definitely give them another chance!

The food at Table X was creative and overall, was very good. The mushroom fricassee and the mozzarella/kale salad were excellent. I liked the modern vibe, but the decor was a little stark/monotone. Adding some B&W photos showing the history of the building as a former cheese factory/produce warehouse would help make it more vibrant while telling their story. The servers were attentive, though it was a bit over the top with the lengthy and detailed explanations of the ingredients in each dish as it was served. All the ingredients are listed on the menu, so there is no need to repeat them again as the food arrives. Looking forward to dining in the garden next season.

Loved this place! We did the tasting menu with wine pairings and everything was delicious. I thought the value was great for the high caliber of food we got plus three generous pours of wine. The scallops were a table favorite, but even the dessert - a green tea pudding - left us scraping our bowls. The pacing of the menu was spot-on and the staff was super friendly, but could maybe have spent more time describing the dishes. Cool atmosphere with a warm decor and cozy, semi-circle booths for a larger group.

We got to feel like judges on a cooking show with the Tasting Menu. Not every dish was an off-the-charts winner, but each was at least quite good. The cheese & truffle opener and the yam slice that followed were “Oh wow.” The braised sun choke was delicious. Main courses were just “really good.” Desert was basic angel food confronted nicely by blood orange sorbet.
The wine combination fit each dish perfectly, and the virgin drinks were all uniquely yummy.
The service got a touch slow at times but was friendly and expert.
Highly recommended as a special occasion or big date night. It was an excellent choice for a post-Valentines dinner date.

Quality food, quiet ambiance, and stellar service.

My fiance and I joined Table X for the Valentine's day 7 course tasting menu, and it didnt disappoint. Each course set in front of us was delightful, and the wine paring was perfect. The service is some of the best in the valley, and the atmosphere is inviting, yet intimate.

Bravo to Table X for one of the best Valentine's day experiences I've had.

Do not go here if you are hungry or thirsty. The food was odd and sparse. I have enjoyed traveling all over the world and frequent many different dining places. This was by far the worst. We ordered the 5 course chefs choice. My poor son in law had to get dinner after due to the tiny portions. The three non alcoholic drinks were so bad it was a complete waste of money. The bread would have been fabulous if the crust didn't have a burnt charcoal taste due to over baking. After the meal was done, we hoped that maybe dessert was going to save the night only to be disappointed again by being served a miniscule, bland green tea mousse thing. The bill for 3 of us was $250 dollars. BIG WASTE

This must have been the fourth or fifth time I enjoyed Table X cuisine. This time we tried the tasting menu with the wine pairing and everything was once again just perfect. I really love that place and squeeze in a visit nearly each time I am in Salt Lake city.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and had the tasting menu. It was amazing! It is probably 4th or 5th time we have been since they opened, we went the second or third night they open last year, and have only ever done the tasting menu. It is always amazing and we love the variety of dishes, the flavors and the surprises that is has. The wine pairing is always spot on and we love that as well! They now sell their amazing bread to go and I highly recommend getting a loaf or two to take home!

I went to Table X for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and it was easy to see that they took pride in their establishment. I really enjoyed the food and the overall decor of the place. It feels retro and modern at the same time. I was initially attracted by the fact that there were three chefs at the helm. The colloborative effort with regards to how the menu was designed comes across in the clever dishes they created.
