We tried the 5 course sampler menu and it was excellent. Service and food were first class. We will definitely return.
The waitress that we had was not very knowledgeable about the restaurant or the food. The steak that we ordered we asked if it would be served sliced and she said no and then when it came it was sliced. It was under cooked and not tender. The mixed green salad was good We were there celebrating a birthday and were asked to different times by the wait staff to please set the birthday gift off the table.
First visit and we will be back. Enjoyed the tasting menu + wine pairings. Chef accommodated dietary needs without hassle. Easy, enjoyable, great flavors and presentation. Lovely for a night out!!
Loved this place! Loved the food. Everything was well prepared and fresh with great flavor. I’m a foodie and I was quite impressed. My only critique- the service could have been more prompt...our server would disappear for a long time.
Great tasting menu! Nicely paced and Kyle was attentive.
Excellent farm to table restaurant with inventive dishes. The staff was very attentive and always at hand if we needed something. It made our special occasion perfect.
Table X is our favorite restaurant. Everything is fresh and healthy. Each dish is done with creativity and masterful flavor combinations. I especiall enjoy the fresh non-alchoholic drinks made with seasonal fesh fruits and spices. I can’t wait to discover the dishes of each new season because these inspired chefs never disappoint!
We booked a reservation specifically to use OpenTable points. Then the owner/manager said they would not honor them.
Limited menu but everything we had was amazing. Definitely a foodie restaurant for more sophisticated palates. I loved the house made burrata, melon with smoked pork, and bavette steak with black garlic, onion, and bone marrow.
Wonderful every time we have been! Their tasting menu is our favorite.
Hands down on of the most amazing restraints I’ve been to in a long time.
Got the tasting menu, left hungry. Each dish was very acidic.
Great apps and entree. Dessert was a miss
Our first visit at Table X celebrating thirty nine years of marriage. Impressed with the knowledgeable wait staff and overall vibe of the restaurant. Food is exceptional.
Such a wonderful experience! The food was amazing! Service superb and a lovely evening out on the outside patio. We will be back for sure
Ask for Jamie, he's the best server in the SLC valley.
Very attentive service and food fit for a foodie. Menu is Pricey so can only enjoy the experience for special occasions. Third visit in a year and hopefully won't be the last.
As always to keep it this place is fantastic. the service was great, they're very attentive. Each dish is explained and gives you a unique appreciation. Tony is our favorite!! Great hidden gem
Absolutely fabulous. Very creative. 5 star. Forgot I am in Utah. Food & service outstanding. My new favorite restaurant.
Second time here and both times ordered the Tasting Menu. I love the thoughtful presentation, wine pairing and most of all the absolute delight of flavor created by these three chefs. Absolutely phenomenal. From the first appetizer, Sweet Corn Capelletti the heirloom tomato was fresh and a beautifully strong flavor to kick of our pallets. One of my favorite dishes to create is a traditional Cassoulet and I really enjoyed the different take on their vegetarian Summer Squash Cassoulet dish and I will never forget the Buttermilk Panna Cotta with the honey, cucumber and lemon verbena. I sort of floated out of the restaurant and this experience feeling relaxed and pampered. Cloud 9 rating.
We had the tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was very good. We especially loved the mushroom appetizer and the pudding dessert. It's nice that many of the ingredients coem out of the garden behind the restaurant.
Birthday. We had the $55 menu with wine pairing. Mushroom appetizer was amazing as was the halibut that was one of the entree offerings. I would return for those two alone. The dessert was delicious as well, although I can’t tell you exactly what it was.
Staff was great! Food was OUTSTANDING! Thank you for the experience. The garden is beautiful.
I had a confirmed reservation on open table yet my reservation was marked cancelled on the day of by the restaurant. I didn’t know this but tou did accommodate us which was good. Food was very creative and good. Lamb was much too smoky.
Best Restaurant in Salt Lake. Creative and fresh without being pretentious
Hands down the best meal our family has had! Fresh, flavorful and delicious ingredients, most from Table X's on site garden. Creative recipes and presentation. Highly recommend the tuna and halibut dishes as well as the mushroom fricassee. You cannot go wrong with tasting menu that allows you to sample several unique dishes. Make sure to save room for dessert. Service was impeccable as always. We look forward to our next Table X experience!
I was very impressed with how delicious absolutely everything was. Service was appropriately paced and I love the atmosphere\style of the restaurant. The only thing I would recommend would be sharper knives. It was a struggle to cut through my perfectly cooked and tender steak and lamb lamb.
Table X is an excellent restaurant - I’ve been there half a dozen times and it never disappoints. Service is excellent too. If you want a fun treat, sit at the chef’s table and watch the action.
One of the best meals I have ever had! Excellent service. Highly recommend.
We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was outstanding. We felt like we received very personalized service. The food was fantastic. We ordered halibut and it was done perfectly. Loved the fresh organic herbs. Everything was wonderful. We also visited the garden outside, very impressive. Will definitely return.
Every time we go to Table X we talk about it for days. The food is creative, fun and aprochable. The service really is the best in the valley. The room is small enough to make it feel special, while the kitchen is open so you can see the action. It really is all about the food here.
Do yourself a favor and order the tasting menu, they know what they are doing at Table X.
Great creative food and great service. Not a great place for conversation. I'm not fond of sitting at a table in a large open space. Minimal booth options. When we asked for a booth it was denied us despite it being open most of the time we dined. Maybe someone requested it and they honored the request. Not a deal breaker but will consider the comfort factor when choosing a location for special occasions in the future. The food was spectacular.
Second visit. First the bad - the confit pork was inedible. Dry, chewy, and salty. The squash confit had little pockets of salt bombs in it. The cake in the dessert lacked any semblance of moisture and the salted caramel sauce was heavy on the salted as well. Definitely something off there.
The service was fine and the food is pretty, and I like the idea of wine in a carafe.
The food was amazing, except both the wife and I left hungry and still had to buy dinner elsewhere, even after our $200 dinner tab.
The menu takes advantage of the produce of the season. The entire staff are foodies and love talking about, making and serving food that is delicious and beautiful. Portions are well-sized, not too small or too big. Each meal starts with warm house-made bread that is delicious. Drinks are served at ideal temperatures. Food is plated beautifully and the balance of flavors dance in your mouth. Don’t skip dessert—their choices are delicious. This is a perfect place for two-four people. They have larger booths that hold six bit I recommend keeping the group small so as not to miss the quieter and appreciative vibe of the restaurant.
Loved the experience our waiter Kyle was very nice and all the waiters and waitresses were super kind and helpful. Food was amazing got the chef tasting menu with the non alcoholic pairing, which was the best! Loved the goat mint pudding! A unique treat in such a interesting location.
We’ve never had a disappointing meal at Table X. The food is always beautifully prepared and the tastes are always unique. From the melt-in-your-mouth bread when you are seated to the amazing dessert they turn your meal in to an experience. The service is impeccable. This is truly the best restaurant in Salt Lake. If you haven’t been there you’re missing out on an incredible culinary evening.
We did the 5 course meal and it was amazing! Highly recommended, one of the best meals we've had.
Nice atmosphere. However food not up to expectations. We had lamb it it was not as tender or seasoned as expected. Food presentation exceeded the actual flavor of the food. Overall good , however not to the expectations of other restaurants of this style
Great chef’s tasting menu. Don’t expect tons of food, but the flavors, wine pairings, service and thoughtful menu are worth the time/price every time!
