Restaurant was small and cozy, however they do not have liquor licenses, so you have to pay bottle fee, surf and turf burgers were very good, service was good, no issues, however parking can be a problem on the street, we just happened to luck up on a spot on the side street
This restaurant is located in quite an odd spot. There is construction going on, not much parking, and the area may scare a few people off. To be honest, this is how my SO felt when we first arrived. For me, I trusted that the area was safe and went in without any negative perceptions.
The place is quite small (maybe 10 tables total). They have a private room for large parties. Reservations are highly recommended. The ambiance is nice. The walls are decorated with some tiles that have distinct patterns on them. There is music playing in the background (moderate to low volume).
The food is very good. I won't go too much into detail because everyone orders something different. All I can say is that our food was good, and the other guests who came sure looked to enjoy their food. The service is very good since there aren't too many people. The menus are on tablets which reminded me of Iridescence.
Overall, the main message I'd like to put across is that if you can put aside the location, you will have an amazing time. If the location will leave you worried the entire time, don't go. I don't think it would be fair to walk into this great establishment with a negative mindset.
This food is the best food that I've ever had. The Cesar Salad and the Tableside Bananas Foster was absolutely amazing. I'd recommend that everyone who can try to go to this restaurant as soon as and as much as they can!
Great food! Attentive staff. Everything we had was great. Already planning on returning soon.
It's a lovely small restaurant. They do have outdoor seating, but the weather didn't allow for that on the night we were there. The staff was exceptionally sweet and even helped to find us a place to park our car and direct us to the nearest liquor store. We didn't realize that they don't have a liquor license, but we were able to bring our own wine with a corkage fee. The presentation of the food was quite beautiful - the pictures on their website are accurate. It's great to see a new Detroit restaurant of this caliber in a neighborhood that isn't downtown!
Great food experience. Ambiance was wonderful and food was excellent.
Staff second to none. Ambiance was good. Need to put bread on the table. Small basket of good specialty bread. Need to offer another fish dish
Table NO. 2 is a nice, quaint, new restaurant. The only downside was there was no wine or liquor options.
Omar and Shemar are Detroit natives and tein brothwrs who bring dinong exeperiences of NY best chefs to Detroit. awesome place.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! I've very proud of you Omar, but I didn't expect anything else.
Ribeye, Brussels sprouts and oyster rockerfeller were superb. Lobster Mac should have Mac throughout instead of just baked on top. Calamari good but could be lighter on the salt.
Beautiful setting and amazing service! I will definitely recommend to others. Crab cakes were the best I ever had!!
Great experience. All four of us had wall-eye, which was very well prepared. Delicately dusted with flour and very tender and flavorful. Broccolini excellent al dente. Malbec mushrooms need a little rethinking, IMHO. Oysters Rockefeller a classic appetizer, prepared comme il faut. Everybody there was helpful and enthusiastic, as befits the energy level for a start-up, especially our waitress, whose recommendation was responsible for the "clean sweep" of the wall-eye. Peach cobbler dessert was baked individually, delicious.
Ambience was varied: inside was nicely appointed, but we ate outside, which was very pleasant. The patio had a New York aesthetic, which I love, but not everybody will. Gritty, occasional sounds of cars on Livernois – which is undergoing major reconstruction -- driving into mega-potholes, plastic ivy cutting off (most of) the view of the car wash across the street. But that is the aesthetic, many phases to life in the big city.
Chef Omar is personable and engaging. He comes out regularly for brief greetings and inquiries as to how dinner is progressing. He is happy to explain his thinking on various dishes, which is interesting and entertaining. This restaurant is a "keeper" and I hope they make it. It is great to see somebody raise his flag in an area of Detroit which is poised to make a comeback. We wish him and the whole crew good luck. We will certainly be back with more friends in the near future. This is the kind of place you would like to claim as your "discovery" among friends!
I had dinner here it was a wonderful experience. The staff was polite and the service was great . Can’t wait to go back. The food was delicious.
Loved everything. Service was outstanding with a comfortable neighborhood friendly feel! Extremely happy to have such an excellent upscale restaurant in the neighborhood... finally !!!! My steak was every bit as good as the steaks I’ve enjoyed recently at Forest Grill, Joe Muer, and Prime and Proper. Support this local neighborhood gem!
We were seated promptly, and the service rendered by Koffe was excellent. The chefs took time to ask how we enjoyed our entrees, that were prepared as requested. The Strawberry Shortcake, prepared tableside by Chef Trey, was scrumptious. One of Detroit's finest dining experiences.
The food was excellent...the service was terrible...we waited 45 mins for a table even though we had reservations.
Here for Sunday brunch. Food was very good. The space, small but great service. I like the dining experience just wish it wasn't so cramped.
We really enjoyed the Father's Day brunch. The service was prompt and friendly. This place was cozy and welcoming. The shrimp and grits was perfect. There was bacon drizzled with honey. Oh my! Our server Koffee was very pleasant and professional. There were many kinds of families there, lots of sampling going on. Being less than a mile from our home doesn't hurt either. Will definitely go again.
We’ve dinned here before and everything was excellent. Not as great this time. We’ll still go again and hopefully they’ll be as good as before. We understand that sometimes things happen. (management should compensate customers for their patience when things happen)
Still think Table #2 is worth the trip.
For our 6th year wedding anniversary we chose to stay home this year instead of taking a trip. Was able to make reservations at a new hot spot that I kept hearing about! When we arrived we were taken straight to our table, did not have to wait to be seated. And was met by the most professionally dressed server. Who explained the tech savvy menu, helped us pick out some of the favorites and most popular items and I must say the food was exceptional. Everything was well priced and cooked to perfection! Excellent service along with Excellent food. The ambiance was just right we will definitely become regulars to this establishment!
I know some may look at the pricing and be taken aback, but don’t let that deter you! The food was out of this world!! We had dinner, and enjoyed the salmon, oysters, crab cake, short ribs, calamari and lobster bisque. All of it was exquisite!! It’s a small restaurant, but would lovely for an intimate date. I highly recommend giving it a try!
This was my first visit to Table No. 2
The food was wonderful and the entire staff was very attentive
Special Thanks to Marcellle for ensuring we had a awesome dining experience
Construction going on in area so prepare to find a park within short walking distance. Nice to have upscale restaurant in community. Also I’m not sure if alcohol is served but I understand there’s an uncorking fee if you bring wine. So call and check on specifics.
I had a great time at Table No 2 and the food was absolutely delicious. I was so impressed with the venue, the outdoor area and the five star food that was served. The owner stopped by several times to see how we were and get our input. Please support them. This is what we need in our area.
I already have started telling people about the wonderful time my wife and I had. We enjoyed our food and the service was outstanding. looking forward to my next visit.
We went for a birthday dinner. It was 345pm bunch was still going. Menu was ok but we didn't like the bunch food. So by 4pm was dinner time. We ask can we get a dinner menu they was not serving dinner that per the cooks. So we had to leave. Restaurant looks nice. Bad parking.
The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and knowledgeable, I will most definitely be going back.
Dining experience was wonderful and the meal was delicious. We will return to dine soon.
Chief Tyrone is an excellent cook everything was great. He visited our table a couple of times, he had a wonderful personality as well.
No liquor license yet but, the food more than made up for it.
We had a fantastic experience from the food to the service. They have won my stomach and my heart.
I visit your business for the first time Saturday. I made a reservation and a walk-in was seated before me. Once I received my food it had to be returned because it was not cooked the way I asked. It took so long to get it back I just had it bagged. When I received my bill I was charged $5.00 for some dipping sauce that should have come with the $40.00 Lamb Chop. I feel that you are nickel and dimes for everything. I will not recommend the restaurant nor will I return.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. More than we expected. Looking forward to returning.
The service was amazing. The food was delicious.I made reservation for 7pm and was seated upon my arrival at 6:53pm.I will be back really soon.
Amazing experience from the moment we arrived, seafood extravaganza and lamb chops were SUPERB! Bananas Foster to die for! Service and waitress Koffee were amazing ❤️
Impeccable service and food presentation. The attention to detail by the chef was impressive. We will return....
The location is very small for the extra circuses that were attempted for guests. The food was cold and the portions were too small for the cost. The waitstaff missed the fact that I took one bite of my crab cake and it sat, while my husband completed his three (3) lamb chops that were cold and very small for $40.
On a good note, the manager was very friendly.
On another note, we won't be back.
was not pleased went on Mother's day and the place was overbooked did not dine here.
I went for Mother’s Day Brunch. I had to wait for nearly 30 minutes past my confirmed reservation time to get my table. There were several dozen people waiting to even talk to a hostess to find out when they could be seated. When I was seated, my table was literally touching another table with people next to me. It might have well have been a communal table. For the price of the Mother’s Day Brunch, I would have expected a carving station with prime rib, shrimp with cocktail sauce, and other higher end brunch staples. They did not have anything like that. While I was able to get an omelette to order, that would have been the bare minimum for a brunch that cost much less. The food offerings were good, but they were very limited and I felt overcharged for what they offered. The line for the limited buffet offerings was very long and should not happen in a restaurant charging what they did for the buffet. The atmosphere also did not reflect the prices they were charging for that brunch. I will not go back.
