Since opening in August 2011, Table & Main has received widespread attention for our warm, welcoming hospitality and Chef Woody Back's upscale riffs on Southern comfort food classics. We are located in a lovingly restored homestead on Canton Street in the heart of Roswell's downtown Historic District. We look forward to seeing you in the dining room! We accept reservations and walk-in guests in our dining rooms and garden patio outdoor seating. Please note guests may be charged $10 per person for parties of 7 or more when not cancelled before 5pm on the day of the reservation or in the event the party does not show. I met a friend at Table & Main for dinner. We took advantage of the Monday night menu specials. We both opted for shrimp and grits and had different appetizers. It was a great meal and a very nice outside dining experience. Very much look forward to returning.

The service was outstanding. Our waiter was wonderful. The food was plentiful in portions and delicious. We enjoyed our experience immensely! Always our "go to" restaurant for special occasions or just to have a good time. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

What a wonderful dinner and evening. Such a great team of friendly staff who will make you smile and enjoy your evening. The chili appetizer was delicious and entree sized, the flavors and ingredients are epic! I had the trout BLT- nothing like it- flavor is amazing and the lettuce was so fresh and delicious! Go enjoy!

We have always loved Table & Main. Their food and service has always been exceptional. However, last night the food was well below their normal high level, sadly. Our corn muffins were undercooked and over-crumbly, I had a vegetable plate where the string beans had not had the string pulled from them, so I had to pull every single one out of my mouth like I had a bony piece of fish, the Mac-n-cheese sauce was runny and didn’t stick to the overcooked noodles😩 my husbands fish-of-the-day was sub-standard. The shrimp-and-grits were spectacular as always, as well as the fried chicken & fried okra. Makes us very sad to have the 1 place that actually has historically had high quality food on Canton street go downhill. Our $250 bill that we normally wouldn’t think twice about (for 4 people), was painful to pay.

Had the fried okra, it was light and great tasting, especially with the buttermilk dipping sauce. Three of us had the chicken and dumplings special. It was a broth base, and not the cream base that we were expecting, but it was a happy surprise and delicious. The service was friendly and timing of appetizers and food was spot on. thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The cheeseburger was only ok, a little too much pimento cheese on the burger and the bun didn't hold up well.

Highly recommend the fried chicken and mac n cheese! That's not something I would usually order but tried my friends and WOW it was fantastic. Our server, Samantha was so helpful with recommendations and we can't wait to go back soon!

I’ve come to terms with mediocre food and service post-Covid, but our dinner, service and experience was phenomenal! The entire staff worked flawlessly as a team - other servers checking in to see if we needed anything but not overbearing! Had a $100 gift card to use, our bill was $105.50 so they just rounded the bill to $100. And of course the fried chicken was great as always.

My husband and I have both been to table and main a few times now. We have been in a few years so we decided to take a date night. We were hoping to make a night of it, but it was the fastest dinner date we have had 🤣 From valeting our car to picking our car up, we were there less than an hour. We had gotten drinks, apps, salads, and a main course. The waiter was prompt, engaging, and efficient. We would have like to space out the courses a bit more - our salads came out with our entree which was fine, but would have liked to space it out a bit more. We ordered salads not realizing my husbands came with a salad - we wished the waiter would have mentioned this before we ordered because he probably would have gotten a side or something else. Food was okay. My shrimp and grits sauce kind of tasted like chef Boyardee - I had gotten it years ago but didn’t remember it being like that. All of the food was still good, overall good experience. We would come back with friends but would maybe try other restaurants first.

Took my daughter out for a nice dinner, and Table and Main did not disappoint. From the service to the food, it was all top notch. She devoured her fried chicken, and the shrimp and grits were perfect. It was the perfect night out, and she felt so grown up and special.

This place never disappoints. Our waiter, JT, has waited on us every time that we’ve been to T&M and always does an outstanding job. For apps we shared the cornbread with honey butter and the app special (pepper stuffed with grits and pork belly then fried) which were fantastic. For entree items we had the Wagyu hamburger with fries, fried chicken with collard greens and the pork chop with field pea salad and collard greens. Each entree and sides were really good but if I had to pick the best of the bunch it would be the pork chop. Thick, smoky and very moist. The fried chicken could have used a little more salt or maybe salt in the brine but it was really good. It came out piping hot from the fryer so be careful. For dessert we tried the banana pudding and the peanut butter mousse pie. Both excellent although we enjoyed the peanut butter mousse pie a little more than the banana pudding. Just an excellent meal…like each time we’ve ever been.

Atmosphere is excellent and staff is very attentive. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were more than pleased with treatment and the food. A wonderful experience. Can’t wait to dine on the patio when the weather is cooler.

Our Server was Jerrod, who did an excellent job. He was very patience with giving us plenty of time on deciding our order. We also mistakenly put down one credit card for our group. Jerrod was very gracious in allowing us to void and re-process with two credit cards.

This is a very special place. The food is so amazing! Everything on the menu is a unique experience with all the local farm fresh ingredients and a Chef that is flat out one of the best in Atlanta and the southeast. Mathew the GM has this place and all the staff on top of the product and service game. I hope very few people read this truth as being a regular, I don’t want t share this place with many. Awesome place!
