Since opening in August 2011, Table & Main has received widespread attention for our warm, welcoming hospitality and Chef Woody Back's upscale riffs on Southern comfort food classics. We are located in a lovingly restored homestead on Canton Street in the heart of Roswell's downtown Historic District. We look forward to seeing you in the dining room! We accept reservations and walk-in guests in our dining rooms and garden patio outdoor seating. Please note guests may be charged $10 per person for parties of 7 or more when not cancelled before 5pm on the day of the reservation or in the event the party does not show. Finally made it to Table & Main. We had a wonderful dinner and all at my table chose either the Shrimp & Grits or the Fried Chicken with a salad. The shrimp & Grits had a little different kind of cajun take on it. The shrimp was fresh and the grits creamy with a darker sauce. A little spicy but not overly. The fried chicken was amazing crsipy coating and juicy chicken inside. We sat on the porch which was comfortable with the heaters even on a chilly night.

Great experience and the food was delicious! We had the blackened catfish and fried chicken dishes along with the buttery corn bread muffins. We also had drinks and charcuterie board appetizer (I forgot the name of it) everything was absolutely superb and the atmosphere was on point for a relaxing Friday evening! :)

The manager, Matt, gifted our table of six with a couple of appetizers, which were delicious. Everyone’s dinner was served hot and prepared perfectly. Really wonderful new Fall menu items. Background music provided some really cool ambiance.

Our waiter took our glasses without asking us if we wanted another drink, which was weird. I suppose they were more interested in turning the tables. The food was meh at best. There was a large party next to us that decided to let their toddler run wild which was annoying. Not the fault of the restaurant, but did diminish our experience. We were excited to try the place and were disappointed. We won't be going back.

I've been going to table and main for 10+ years and it's still the best place for dinner & service of all the places on Canton Street in Roswell. Amazing lower patio and just super nice folks work there. Always wonderful.

Underwhelming service! Service was very slooow. Waited forever for first and second drinks. Server never picked up the plates from apps. We had to ask another server to remove them, finally our entrees came and the fried chicken was exceptional as well as the pork chop and mac n cheese. All delicious! Ordered the bisque which was overly salty and I was unable to eat it. It sat in front of me for a very long time. Finally the manager took it away, apologized for the situation. My question is why didn’t the chef taste it first? We were told the whole pot was trashed because of the salty taste. The chocolate cake was flavorless and too dense. The banana pudding was excellent. If there’s a next time, we will sit at the bar.

Promptly following a prior review from a little over a month ago, Table and Main general manager Matthew Forsee reached out to invite back myself and my family for a 'second chance'. When I say the red carpet was rolled out, I mean it - and frankly that would be an understatement. Matthew made sure we were well taken care of, and made an enormously generous offer of complimentary dishes. Additionally, we had the good fortune of being sat with Zac Reed - typically working his days at Osteria, but assisting last night at Table and Main. Zac was an outstanding server, and was everything we had come to know of and expect from Table and Main. Simply put, everything we were missing in our last visit. Thank you Matthew and thank you Zac for making this our most outstanding Table and Main experience yet. This 'makeup' visit was following my family and I's fourth birthday dinner at Table and Main. Following our worst experience yet we were fearful we'd lost our favorite go-to birthday spot. What Matthew did for us, and how Zac treated us - we will be back for another four birthday dinners and then some. Thank y'all, again!

We hadn’t been here in several years so we decided to go again. We chose to eat outside which was very pleasant. We had the fried chicken and shrimp and grits. Both were good but nothing special. We love craft beer on tap however the selection is minimal. The wait staff was not really knowledgeable on several items. Overall enjoyable but better options available on Canton Street.

Exceptional service and cuisine. All staff were very nice from valet, to hostess, to servers, and management. The food was plated beautifully, and tasted just as good as it looked. The sauces/dressings enhanced the natural flavors instead of detracting from them.

This was my first visit here. I had heard about the famous fried chicken for a long time and it was time I made a visit. It was easy to make reservations only one day ahead for a 6:15 PM seating. We sat on the outside patio, which was absolutely beautiful on a fall evening with warm enough temps to sit amongst the trees and landscaping. My first impression was that when I walked in that it was a building filled with history. Like many restaurants on Canton Street in Roswell, this building dates back to the 1800s. I also noticed that there was outdoor seating on the front covered porch, along with a small bar and ample seating inside. Great ambience! They do have valet parking. I always park by City Hall (free!) which then includes a nice walk to the restaurant area while my friend did the $10 public parking just down the street. Even just looking at a couple of the servers, I could tell this was a restaurant with more professional service staff than transient waiters. That certainly makes a difference and you get what you pay for! I did select the fried chicken and mac & cheese. It was delicious and enough leftovers to take home. I am a stickler for my food being hot and the temperature of the chicken was perfect and juicy while the mac & cheese was bubbling like it should be. My friend had the trout dinner along with a pile of okra, which she also said was delicious. We shared the special evening appetizer of warm crab dip and crackers, and it was lovely to find that the crackers were warm as well! Birdie was our server. Excellent knowledge of the menu, asked the right questions about the pace of our dinner and she was spot on with timing. Beautiful smile! It is nice to know that T&M has been able to keep their high standards when it comes to delicious food & attentive service. So many restaurants have not been able to do that after the pandemic. It was reassuring to see that high standards matter here. I’ll be back & highly recommend.
