The service and staff were excellent but unfortunately the food was not up to par. I did not experience the promised bursting with flavor farm to table taste difference.
I was disappointed that my chicken entree was just a tough flattened breast covered with a gravy like tasteless demi glaze! The root veggie along with that was a blah brocollini.
I then requested some other vegetables like carrots and brussels sprouts but I did not want them cooked with confit/fat so they just brought me steamed veggies which were very tasteless. I’ve made steamed vegetables at home that had so much more flavor than these.
That evening we were practically the only ones dining in this place that has a rather large capacity.
I might considering giving them time to get their act together and maybe get a new chef with better recipes along with a new farm and then going back on a later date. It is right in my neighborhood so it would be a shame if this place cannot improve.
Restaurant was very good but their menu was not the same as on their web page so that was disappointing since there was no fresh fish. Breakfast was very good with nice selections including cheese and smoked salmon.
Food is always fresh and delicious. Friendly servers.
Miguel the waiter was fabulous
Great fresh food
The food has always been excellent but this time it was maybe mediocre. The only fish dish was not fresh fish. The calamari seemed store bought frozen rings and then deep fried. The desert was similar to a restaurant on par with Denny’s.
The published Miami spice menu, which I was really looking forward to having was not available. The rest of the menu didn’t appeal to me as much.
The restaurant was a nice experience. The food was nothing special but it was worth the money. The reason I would not go again is I’m a stickler for service. The server we had was sick, which is not a problem, but I believe that affected her service and one experience with bad service anywhere and I’m done.
It took a good 5 minutes for someone to introduce themselves as our server. She took our order and she never passed by again. The food was delivered by a young man. We had to flag someone down for more water twice. She finally came along to as how things were and at that point everyone else got us what we had asked for. After that some time had passed and we were obviously done with our food, but we didn’t see our server. We asked a woman whom we believe to be the manager for our check. That’s when the waiter finally came back. Again, it was obvious she had a cold or similar, and was not doing well, but if that’s the case send someone to help you still serve your guests as full capacity.
I enjoyed a QUIET midweek dinner with my wife. The food was quite good and the Happy hour wine prices were an added bonus. The service was a little "off" but our waitress was polite and did her best to assure that we were happy.
Confusion about Miami Spice menu ... server did not bring wine list or drink menu, we had to ask and then wait quite a bit for our drinks ... food came and not cooked as described on the menu ... 15 minute wait for dessert to come ... chocolate brownie-like dessert was hard ... it was like the regular chef was out for the evening... and the server didn’t help the cause. Won’t be back.
Always great food
PLEASE BRING BACK CALAMARI
Great food quality and very amicable service. We were a party of 6 and we all ate well. The snapper was delicious and desserts were excellent.
Service was horrible. Waiter had to look menu to take orders. There scallops plate and bar burgers took over 1hr and 30 minutes to come out after my friend and I recieved our groupers our husbands ate 90 minutes later. Scallops where not u10 waiter was lost looked to new did not know menu. Would not recommend.
I was not impressed with the Miami Spice menu and it was not worth the value I paid for it. On the positive side, the place is very nice, the service was very good and the atmosphere was good also. A bit loud since we went during happy hour, but tolerable since we sat on the other side of the partition. Happy a nice place is open in Kendall, will try the happy hour soon and hopefully my experience will be better.
Ambiance and food were excellent. Little noise level which made for a very pleasant dining experience. The major problem was the service. Our server was very pleasant, but she appeared to be the only one, except the manager, also very pleasant, serving the diners. Most of the customers were in the bar. She really needed help. If the service is improved, this restaurant could become a “go-to-place” for locals (which we are) and not only those staying in the hotel .
I went there for Miami Spice and their spice menu was different from the spice web site, so I ordered off the regular menu. My 3 courses came in at $2 less than the spice price. The baby back ribs were very good as was the side of swiss chard. The burrata appetizer and coffee mousse dessert were also quite good. I will be back.
Went for a dinner with a good friend to enjoy Miami spice. Upon arrival we waited over 25 minutes At our table for a drink. After looking over the Miami spice menu we picked our orders and did not get what was advertised on the Miami spice menu. Appetizer was supposed to be toast donis but they brought out empanadas. Main meal was supposed to be steak and crawfish they brought out shrimp and dry steak.
Table 55 at the Hilton Dadeland was great. The food was amazing and the ambience was very quaint.
Nice location in an area with need for fine dining and a nice meeting spot, the service of somewhat spotty but professional and the servers were attentive to our needs even when it looked they are trying to do their best and improve this new location
Miguel is an incredible waiter and David Posner who is Food and Beverage Manager is very intuitive and tries to tend to every customers desires.
Great place for dining.
The hostess was extremely nice with me and my family, however the server was very rude, We asked her for a couple of things and never gave us a straight answer, not sure if there was a language problem.
The food was good but I felt that for "brunch" it could've had more options. I have a small child so it was hard to feed her as they didn't offer a kids menu or a simple chicken breast for me to feed my child
Not at impressed by father’s day brunch. Service was ok. I will try again on a “normal”’menu day but this was certainly not best menu to showcase their farm to table fresh food.
Very friendly and attentive service. I asked for my english muffin dry, but it came out with a butter spread on it. I understand that issues happen (and this was certainly minor) so to me, it’s all how it’s handled. I received an apology and a new, dry english muffin in short order with a smiling second apology. I frequently enjoy business breakfast meetings here and will continue to do so. The atmosphere is conducive to business conversation, food is great as is the staff and management.
Attentive staff and excellent farm fresh food.
Nice little gem in the new Hilton Hotel next to Baptist Hospital. Food was good and ambiance was great as well. Staff was awesome.
This is an amazing restaurant that sits inside the Hilton Dadeland Hotel. They have a farm to table concept, and product fresh amazing food! Service was spot on, bar staff made amazing cocktails, great ambiance in the room, this place is on track to become a gem in the local community.
Food quality greatly needs improvement. We were hoping this would be a hidden gem but it very much disappointed. Naan bread was stale, black bean hummus mediocre at best, avocado toast was VERY disappointing... we like dining out when food is better than we can make, sadly my cooking is far superior. The place definitely needs improvement. And the waiter knew nothing about anything...
pretty place though and great location...hope it improves!!!
