I took my husband for dinner on his birthday, and this place was beyond my expectations! Beautiful & elegant 1960’s atmosphere, great ambience, nice live music, great service, excellent food. Amazing experience, we are certainly going back.
Wonderfully different place...definitely observes the "old school" approach in many ways, such as tablecloths, live music, polite (if somewhat hurried ) staff. Our dinner was very good, from the appetizers of bacon-wrapped dates...excellent, and the puff-pastry escargot, to the main courses of steak Diane, and beef Wellington. Both main courses could have been warmer upon serving, but tasted great. Desserts were a disappointment, however...I ordered the cherries jubilee, which seemed to be a whole can of dark cherries literally dumped on a plate, with the liqueur already on the plate with a small, unidentifiable piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream on it...the waiter lit the liqueur, cautioned me to "wait a minute until the flames subsided before eating", and walked away! Not a true cherries jubilee, and not very tasty. My husband ordered some sort of chocolate cake, which was dry. We were there on a week-end night with reservations, and it still took about 30 minutes to be seated. Main dining room very noisy , but the smaller room was much better for conversation. We would definitely go back, but only on a weeknight, or for lunch.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Great atmosphere, superior wait staff and excellent food. Have been here several times and have never been disappointed.
Great atmosphere and food.
This is an outstanding dining experience! Great good!! Superb service!! Our waiter Jose was outstanding and the Manager Fritz was attentive and made this a perfect anniversary celebration!! We couldn’t be more pleased! We highly recommend Table 13. You won’t be disappointed!!
Great food, great music and the people are wonderful.
Heard about it from friends. Was as great as we were told it would be. I give it 6 stars!
Greeted with such zest and zeal- happy for us to dine in. Micheal our waiter very attentive and knowledgeable. The music was lovely piano and live singer- very great! Just love this place - they never disappoint. And the food beyond yummy.
Always one of my favorites but first time for lunch and what a treat. Going to make this an ideal place for business and pleasure.
Great spot for a business lunch. Very nice, varied menu options. Great food and service!
Great bar and cozy restaurant with live Sinatra-style music. Excellent service and atmosphere for a date of special occasion. The seafood was delicious and the crème brulee was the best.
Reservations for 7:30 pm. Arrived 5 minutes early and we weren’t seated till 8:20 due to a large table that would not leave. However there was an empty table when we arrived with no one waiting. Also they seated later arriving parties at tables while we and other couples were made to wait. Management apologized and provided free desert. They managed the situation very poorly. I’ve been there several times but will not go back EVER.
First time but not the last. Food was good, only issue was temperature but it wasn’t too bad. Music was great. Will definitely go back!!!
Usually one of my favorite places. Tonight not so much. We were seated quickly in the private area but asked for a different table in the main dining room as we like the live music. Once reseated, We waited and waited, more than 8-10 mins before anyone came to the table. Ordered drinks and then saw the bus boy try and deliver our drinks to the next table. Before we could catch him, he was gone. A few more moments and seemingly confusion by the staff As to table numbers. We got drinks and ordered an App. Our app again is delivered to the wrong table. WTF. No bread for the table and had to ask. Ok. Dinner time. We order surf n turf and beef Wellington. Took exceedingly long to get the meal and guess what...again watched out food go past us, with confusion as to what table ordered what. Wellington and filet were good but lobster tail comes out with salt and pepper and covered with parsley. Huh?? On lobster?? Sent it back as it was inedible. 2nd one comes back this time with no pepper and only a-little salt. Who salts lobster?? It’s freakin lobster!!! Doesn’t need anything. VERY disappointing. Manager did come over and apologize and they did reduce our check. I am willing to pay for a good meal with a good experience and appreciate they were aware it was subpar. We are frequent customers and sorry to see service and food go downhill. I hope they see this and tighten things up again. Love the atmosphere and the motif and want to come back and enjoy it again.
Noise level is very high, but really like the music and the food
We have been there 3 times now. Everything has been very consistent! We live in Lubbock but travel to Dallas almost every week. We make it a point to be there every Thursday night. They have live music and it is very relaxing. We were there for 2 hours and didn’t realize it. It is now our favorite restaurant!!!
Pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious. Service excellent. Will definitely return.
Excellent service. Enjoyed the live music. great FOOD.
Awesome restaurant, awesome service by Kyle. Love eating at Table 13 on special occasions like Easter today.
The rib-eye was not tender at all and hard to slice with a knife. The waiter forgot my second drink order.
Good food and great music. Very much enjoyed the experience and will come again.
This restaurant is first-rate. The live band plays slow dance music and we danced between courses. The food is perfect in flavor and presentation and the service is equal to the French Room in downtown Dallas. Fine dining at its best.
Big Hern, our server was fabulous. We had the bacon wrapped dates which were fabulous. Chateaubriand for our main course and bananas foster for dessert. All were very good and the live music made the overall experience very, very good. This was our first time dining here and we will return.
Food was great. Music nice. Waiter rude. Complimented the martini to him and he said "it must be that is the second time you told me". Guess he could care less. Don't bother him. Would dine there again if I don't get that waiter. His mantra should be eat and shut up.
Awesome place to spend an anniversary. Thanks so much for everything!
I reserved a table for date night.
The host sat is in the back ..like the kids room
There were plenty open tables why did refuse to seat us in the main area.
Next Tim I will insist .
Open table did a bad job here too
We like coming to Table 13 because we get good food, classy yet fun atmosphere, great service, and great live music. The rest of the family drink the classic cocktails that they make, which they all say are top notch. The waiters are all friendly and attentive.
We enjoy the night-club-style jazz. Some of the entertainers are good enough to have recorded CDs (we've purchased some and are well pleased). The quality music is big reason why we come, so I have to disagree with some of the comments that say it is "too noisy" -- I would be disappointed if the music was not loud enough to hear clearly. While the music is playing (6:30-10:30pm) the tables near the stage are not the best place to sit for a quiet conversation. I guess you can sit elsewhere or come before the music starts. The quality music makes the difference between feeling like you had a "night out" and feeling like you had "dinner". We have no problem moving to the bar after dinner on nights when it gets crowded; the sound is good there and you can still see the stage.
I've had the calamari appetizer, the salmon, the sea bass, and the pork chop, all of which were good. I wish they would offer some additional dinner specials (seafood, in my case) to let the chef get a little creative.
The atmosphere is nice enough you can dress up and not feel out of place. I have yet to find another place in Dallas or Fort Worth that can deliver all of these things.
I have reviewed Table 13 several times. It is simply put one of our favorite places. Why keep searching for places that offer less when you can stick to the ones that you really like?
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was cook, and the staff was great. We had an amazing experience.
We had a wonderful evening. Took relatives visiting from out of town, they commented several times what a wonderful restrauant, good food, good wine and friendly service by Mohammad. They would like to go back next time in town.
Food was very good and nice size portions for lunch. Service was attentive and friendly. Good place for all ages to enjoy.
Excellent food and service!!!
The food, drinks, service and band were exceptional. We had a great time at Table 13!
This used to be a great restaurant - one of my favorites. I have sent a couple of friends to the restaurant and they told me the restaurant wasn't that great. I discovered why when I went on Saturday night and had a terrible experience myself. The food was terrible, the service was terrible and the manager wasn't that accommodating himself. He basically told me that they fired their general manager and the kitchen manager quit - all within the last few months. Being a Saturday, the restaurant wasn't full - normally it is packed on a Saturday night. One of my favorite restaurants is no longer - it has gone to crap!
This was our second visit to Table 13 and it did not measure up to our first visit. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it had a lot of jalapeños with the calamari. We ate only a few bites.
My husband ordered one of the specials....pasta with shrimp, clams, mussels, and calamari. It was described as being in a white wine garlic butter sauce with a hint of pomadore. My husband, who doesn’t love tomatoes, specifically asked about the tomatoes and was told they were diced and mixed into the pasta. Instead, the wine garlic sauce was not existent and was totally overpowered by the tomatoes.
I ordered the chicken which sounded delicious as described on the menu. It was awful. The sauce was very thick and I left it with only taking a couple of bites.
Overall, this was a disappointing dinner and we left thinking we will not return.
We had a great evening at Table 13. The service was prompt but not rushed. Waiter explained everything about the chef's recommendations. Food was delivered hot and it was excellent. The cocktails from the bar were terrific. I think that this is a good value for an exceptional restaurant. We will be returning.
The music is special and the food and service are excellent as well. Very nice experience. Just don’t plan on having conversation while the band is playing.
It was my hubby’s birthday and everything was just wonderful! Service was great, very attentive, food was excellent and entertainment spectacular! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Wonderful dining experience. Great food, service and entertainment (jazz band was fantastic) . Great wine , cocktail selection, staff were attentive and welcoming , food was excellent. I would definitely recommend.
We had a fantastic table close but not too close to the band and they were great as always. Love this place!!! The food is excellent and the service is the best and made our night feel that much more special. We celebrated our first year anniversary here and hope to spend many more special times at Table 13.
