We had a great time. There were 6 of us; all of us are old, and several of us cannot hear very well. It was really too noisy for talking while the band was playing. We loved the music, but it would have been better had we been seated further away from it, We were right there in front of them! Anyway, this is our absolutely only “complaint.”

It'll be another day our server, Tony, was excellent. He is very personable and let us be silly and he played along. Will certainly ask for him on future visits. The only bad thing was sitting in the round booth at the back Period They both basically has no support as it is soft and also apparently old and sat out. It was not comfortable for us. Make sure to request a table with chairs in the future.

I asked for a quiet table when we booked because one of our Party is hard of hearing. When called to confirm my reservation, I reiterated our needs. We were seated in the front room next to a party of 16 and had to shout to hear one another. We asked twice about relocating during our meal, but were told even if we waited for another table near the front of the main dining room to pay their check, our only option to move would be the table immediately in front of the jazz trio. In retrospect, that would have been better. We ended up in the bar for the last 15 minutes of our evening while we waited for our check, simply because we couldn’t take any more! That said, service was excellent and the food was delicious as always. And it was nice to be recognized as a regular diners. It’s too bad the ambience ruined our evening.

It had been a while since we dined at Table 13. We left there not only satisfied with the wonderful experience, but also wondering why it had been so long. Every aspect of the restaurant (atmosphere, service, music, menu, cocktails, wine list) is superb! We took advantage of the Restaurant Week menu and had the 4-course meal offering which included lobster tail and filet mignon as the entre, both excellently prepared. We started with escargot. Their offering features a puffed pastry that adds a nice touch. Our waiter introduced us to a new addition to their wine list, a full-bodied Cabernet from Sangiacomo. I rate this wine very highly. Unfortunately, no local wine merchant stocks it, but going to Table 13 to give it a try will be well worth it. In fact, I'll meet you there soon!

So Table 13 is a modern throwback to what you see in classic movies, the entertaining Supper Club experience. The food is delicious, the music hits just right, and the vibe is elegant and relaxed at the same time. It’s a chef-driven fine dining place with timeless, live music fronted by the great Marc Toussaint. Sinatra, Torme, Darin, Crosby, and Cole come back to life thanks to Marc’s fabulous jazz band. Be transported somewhere else at Table 13 - the holy grail of what an experiential restaurant should strive for and be. Seriously the only things missing are the cigarette girls and a big beefy bouncer whose jacket is too tight. Shhhh, though, let this review be our little secret - I don’t want to be the one who invites the great unwashed and ruins a perfectly beautiful dream.

We dined Saturday evening, August 31, at 6 pm. Table for 3. Ambiance is lovely. It’s a beautiful restaurant. Blonde hostess was wonderful and friendly and made me feel most welcome. Food runner was also pleasant and always smiling. That’s the end of the positives. Server was most unfriendly. So much so, that I asked him if he could try smiling when he came to the table. He didn’t. If you don’t like people, please get out of the service industry. Food was bland and boring. Nothing to write home about! Live music was also a bit blah. So much potential here. Perhaps it was just an off night.
