One of the best Indian restaurants in town. Their goat is outstanding.
Delicious food. There was only one server for the whole restaurant which was 6 tables so service was a bit slow but we didn’t mind.
I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow and go back once per month
First time having Indian food and it was delicious. The menue offered an array of choices from traditional Indian dishes to Thai food and more. They are willing to cook certain thing to a spice level witch was nice. Definitely recommend especially if you want to try something different
Food was good but, service was haphazard. The restaurant needs more servers in order to adequately take care of their patrons on a timely basis.
Great food & atmosphere - Good sized portions & very friendly staff.
My family and I went for the first time and we will be back. The food was great and service was really good.
We read the reviews on tripadvisor and subsequently booked as vastly positive. unfortunately on arrival at our booking time we were asked to wait in the "hotel / reception area" whilst a table could be prepared. the gentleman subsequently pointed at the untidy table. "no problem we thought" after 15 minutes passed i returned to the host and asked why there were people sat at the now cleaned table, and no one had communicated with us whilst we patiently waited. again we were informed a table would be ready in 5 minutes. after waiting in the hotel lobby for a further 15 minutes we left the premises completely appalled at our experience
Had our first meal there on-premises (take out earlier in the pandemic) and we're very impressed. Most importantly, the food was great-some of the best Indian we've had in Orlando. Service was also very attentive and responsive. I didn't give it top marks only because the kitchen was slow; it took quite a while for dishes to arrive, but maybe that's what this level of quality requires. Portions were generous and prices, especially for a hotel restaurant, were very fair. A top pick for Indian food in Orlando.
What an amazing find on our trip to Orlando. Fantastic authentic Indian cuisine, with great variety and consistent quality. We will be back on our next visit to town!
Mohammed was excellent- gave great recommendations for the Indian food. Our friend who is from London and eats at many different Indian Restaurants says this was the best one he has been to in the US. Highly recommend. Lot of food for you $.
Go see Mohammad. It’s really really great. At first you wonder if it will be good because it’s in the hotel. Ignore all that or you will miss out on a wonderful meal.
Mohammad our waiter was outstanding. Remembered all our names and made us feel like regular customers. First class guy who made the experience fantastic.
Indian food was exceptional. Mohammad was an excellent server
The food was a bit of a letdown the chicken vindaloo was not spicy! How do you do that? The naan was great, the vegetable biryani rice had corn in it? Corn? The place has a good rating so others must like it. Wasnt for us.
Great authentic Indian food. The biryani was cooked in a pot with multiple layers. Certain fragments of rice we even colored differently. Layer of gravy followed by Basmati rice and on and on. All that just for $20. Never can get better than this.
We decided to try the restaurant after hearing about it through a friend. The food was good and the ambiance was nice. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the parking situation. You either have to let them valet your car which we don’t like doing or you find a spot by the hotel around back which was completely full.
Excellent restaurant, Just the best Indian food we’ve had.
Loved having a selection among Thai, Chinese and Indian dishes! Our favorite was the cauliflower with Manchurian sauce. If you like spicy, don't let them scare you away from the higher level of spicing. I got talked into getting the medium level of a Thai curry, and it was very gentle warm. Anyone who's been in Thailand can handle the spicier version.
Good food, good service and good ambiance. Located in Clarion Hotel.
Cracker meal cracker service from Romero.
Visited from England, excellent Indian food & very pleasant service
Very good food and great service
Our waiter Mohamed was just awesome, great service and very good food.
Outstanding from beginning to end!
Aprajita Was great and the food was so good !! Very hip restaurant
The only complaint we had was with one of the dishes of Thai red curry. We mentioned to the waitress and manager that it was too spicy and they only apologized but did not offer any replacement.
The place is very nice overall.
Mohamed was a very nice waiter and able to explain the various dishes to us!
Good food, great service and food is Halal.
Food was amazing would highly recommend will be back again before leaving to go home
The best Indian food in all of Florida!!
We love this place, great food, great service last week, not so good this week.
Excellent service, food was tasty as well. Will come again!
Over rated. Spice level and quality large. Had better Indian food elsewhere in Orlando
Awesome Food. Excellent service.
We booked a table for 7 adults and 2 children to celebrate Father’s Day based on the flyer on your instagram. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and the selection for the brunch, which was not as advertised, and was marketed as being a “special” Father’s Day brunch. There were no kabobs, no biryanis, no Indo-Chinese options, no chicken curries, and very limited options overall - completely different from the advertised flyer. The food was cold and well below standards. This was not anywhere near a “special” brunch.
Furthermore, our bill included an automatic 20% gratuity, which should NOT be charged for SELF-serving buffets. It should be left to the discretion of the customer. When I asked the server/host about this charge, she simply said it was an additional charge for the buffet. This is an extremely poor attitude and service on the restaurant’s part. Overall, we are very disappointed with this experience and will not recommend Tabla to our family and friends for future visits. There are several Indian dining options in Orlando that are significantly better than Tabla.
We have come in about 3 times in the last 30 days but this time was awful. My wife received her drink and 1 min later accidentally knocked it over. The server never once offered to replace her drink, and when I asked for a replacement drink he brought one and then charged us for it at the end. We received our chicken entree and took a bit and it was cold and under cocked. We told the waiter and he took my knife and tried to cut it on my plate which he couldn’t at first and then proceeded to tell me it was fine, to my response it is ice cold and doesn’t taste right we come here regularly, so please have the chief bring us warm cooked dish which he did. They clearer our old plates which we had 1/2 our naan/ bread and yogurt on it and we assumed they would bring us new warm bread since they cleared it out, but all we got was replacement chicken dish. We didn’t feel like arguing so we just eat the remaining bread and paid our bill, but someone needs to educate their staff on customer service. There are lots of good indian restaurants in the area and we will not be back.
Amazing indo-Chinese food!! Loved the fried rice! The masala drink was also really yummy!!
Being on vacation, we decided to try new cuisines (we’ve had Chinese particularly the fried rice as it was sticky and heavy while the Pad Thai had too many over cooked vegetables in it - I wonder if Indian is their specialty and the others are just afterthoughts. We would not go back but if you like Indian food and appreciate spice then this is the place for you!
Pleasantly surprised how great the food was. Food was perfectly prepared and not overly heavy. Some Indian resturants have overly heavy food. Tabla was tasty and I found the prep to be light but still very tasty. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night and the food was just as good. We have eaten at many highly ranked Indian resturants in NYC including one that was Michelin starred and enjoyed our meal here just as much. For being attached to a hotel in Orlando was totally surprised how much we enjoyed it. Will make it a point to eat here whenever we make it to Orlando.
