   My husband and I go to a restaurant once a week and decided to give Tabare a try. As soon as we walked in we loved the ambience. Great vibe and very romantic. Once we were seated the waitress took our drink order. I had a Sangria and my husband had a Mojito. Wow, great strong drinks!!! We ordered the cheese, chicken and beef empanadas which were out of this world!!! My husband ordered the Churrasco steak and I ordered the ravioli dish for our main entrees. OMG is all I have to say!!! Amazing food!!! This place is one of the best restaurants in New York hands down!!! The food has such amazing flavor and the service was on point!! Great neighborhood gem!!! We will definitely return!!!

   We came to Tabare to spend time with friends but also to Celebrate a friends recent marriage. I loved everything from the minute we were seated to the moment we left. Food was excellent. Farm to table freshness. Presentation was beautiful, taste was even better. Menu is small, but its a good thing. Empanadas were so flavorful and pate was excellent. Portions are very generous. Ambiance is stunning. Great for outdoor dining with friends , a date night or just a cozy evening out with anyone you choose. Notable wine list, Special Handcrafted Original cocktails. I cannot say enough. This restaurant will be added to one of our favorite places to eat and Celebrate special occasions.

   Food was GREAT!!!! At first you look at the place or their small menu and you might think twice about it but I have no regrets! Service can be improved but I can't complain.

   We went to Tabare for a date night and it was the perfect atmosphere. The food was incredible and the dessert was just as great. The waiter was great in recommending items from the menu that were both tasty and authentic. We had the empanadas (the cheese one was amazing), the steak sandwich, and the steak with chimichurri sauce. I would recommend each of those things to anyone!

   Loved our dinner here, it really was delicious and a good price. Cocktails were boozy and a little angry tasting if that makes sense. Service was good no complaints

   Nice place overall! The foods are too oily, but the service is good. I recommend trying their dinner fish. It is really good taste!

   The setting is very date friendly. My fiance & I sat in the backyard, which was beautiful with the summer weather. The food was delicious. I had the rib eye & he had the chimichurri steak. Both very flavorful. They forgot to give us bread but it was a busy night so I don't blame them. Easy to get to from Q59 bus or a few blocks walk from L train. Overall, I would definitely dine here again.

    Service was exceptional but the overly salty food and few ants crawling around on the table were not worth it for me - this was my second time visiting and the first time around left a great impression. This time - not so much. I'd say pass.
