Tabachoy is a Tagalog nickname given to a friend or family member; it means chubby or fatty. We know it sounds mean, but Filipinos give each other inappropriately appropriate nicknames all the time. Your baby brother’s got some neck rolls? Tabachoy. Auntie’s six months pregnant? Tabachoy. Or your dad’s got a six pack, but just finished his third piece of bibingka? Tabachoy!

We cook the food that got us made fun of in elementary school, when we opened our country crock “Tupperware” - the food that reminds us of home. We don't strive to make a better adobo than your mothers, but we do want to share ours with you.

Truly was one of the best dining experience in a long time. The food has a lot of heart and not pretentious while still giving beautiful presentation.

Excellent food and good, professional service. Got the fried tofu with tamarind sauce and the little neck clams, both were great.

Celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. This restaurant is an amazing place with a wonderful front of house. Food is incredible and reminded me of my lolas. 10/10 recommend!

This is our second experience at Tabachoy, this time with my parents for my boyfriend’s birthday (he wouldn’t want to spend it anywhere else). We had the tasting menu which was excellent and even though they were short staffed we were SO well taken care of. The manager Santana always goes above and beyond to satisfy his guests, we even got a chance to speak with the chef who hand delivered many of our dishes!! I can’t speak enough to how fantastic the service is here every single time.

Service and food were wonderful! It was a tiny bit louder than expected and hot in there, but the restaurant was very busy that night so it was to be expected. Overall very pleased with our first visit!

LOVE!! The food was absolutely delicious - I'm vegetarian and had lots of options (which I think may have been vegan also) and the meat eaters in the group were very happy with their food too. We basically tried everything on the menu and couldn't really pick a favorite though the desserts (ube sundae and pandan cheesecake) were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Chance was so much fun to chat with. 100/10 experience. We will be back.
