T45 at Hyatt Centric Times Square Ratings and Reviews
We, a party of five went to T45 for dinner before a Broadway play. The seats were not comfortable, the food okay, not very plentiful, the service was good until it was time to pay the bills. We had made it clear...or thought we did, to the server that we needed three bills and who was with who. The bills were totally mixed up, by this time the restaurant was very busy, and loud and it took a long time to get the bills straightened out. There were also two tables nearby with rather noisy children present...did not expect that!
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious in a neighborhood that consistently disappoints. This is by far your best option in the area. The menu is creative but familiar, the cocktails are just right and the service is on point. Highly recommended!
The service was one of the worse I've ever encountered at a restaurant. The restaurant was less than half full on what should have been a very busy Sunday morning, which should have been the first clue. We got seated quickly, but took over 15 minutes to get a waiter to get a drink order. Another 15-20 minutes before he took our order for breakfast, and an extremely long wait to actually get the food. Each time the hostess noticed that we had been waiting a long time and sought out our waiter to get him to attend to us. The food was mediocre at best, and certainly not worth the long wait and lack of service. If you have any other options, use them instead.
Very disappointing in every aspect of this restaurant experience. Chose it because of a pre-theater location with decent enough reviews. Nothing special, greasy food and polite but inattentive service. I could have picked about 15 other spots that would have been better.
12 of us had lunch Pre-theatre and found the staff to be warm and friendly. Served us in a timely fashion and the food was exactly what we were looking for. Did not want a heavy lunch and the menu appealed to all of us. Highly recommend the southwestern grill cheese sandwich. 6 of the 12 of us ordered it.
a great post theatre option for quick bite or an entree. Went to see Kinky Boots close by and made a reservation for this place. Clearly it's a very international hotel and it was fun to see the waiters and some of the diners communicating with hand gestures. The decor is modern and streamlined.
We got several appetizers and burgers. The Korean wings were excellent. The Italiano toast was just OK. The crab cake slider and meatball slider were good. The mac and cheese appetizer was excellent. The appetizer menu had many many choices and is great for a late night crowd that may have varying desires in the same group.
My husband and son got the burgers and thought they were excellent.
Our waitress was nice but a little harried.
So often late night dining in the theatre area is hectic, crowded, overpriced and bad. The other issue is that Hotel dining tends to be costly and bland. None of these factors applied here. There were plenty of tables and the noise level was moderate. The tables were not that close together by NYC standards so you felt that you had some space around you. The bar was pretty full and they had a large menu of cocktails which we did not sample. This is a great go to for pre or post theatre quick bite but good food.
We are so glad we chose to eat at T45 before our show. The food was very good and the dining area spacious--such a treat to be able to relax and spread out before getting crammed in those tiny theater seats for 2 and a half hours! We stuck to the basics--Ruebens , burgers, salmon--and everything was delicious! The Mediterranean platter was perfect for 4 people and we loved the desserts! Our server was super nice and efficient, although it seemed like the wait staff was short-handed that evening.
Service very poor - restaurant was empty yet our server barely checked in to see if we needed more water, coffee, etc. At the end of our meal, we asked for coffee/ tea and the waitress seemed to forget about us. After waiting awhile we just asked for the check as we ran out of time (I had to physically get up and track down our server to get the bill). Also, the food wasn't great- I ordered a salad with salmon- salad was very skimpy and poorly presented (was more like a small side salad v. a main dish and salmon on the side, almost like an afterthought). My colleague had the fried rice entrée which had too much sauce. The only positive thing that I can say about this place is that it was quiet. Plenty of other great restaurants with better food / service for the price- don't waste your time.
This restaurant is very convenient to the theatre district. Excellent service, although I wasn't there at a busy time. Very nice, professional server who let me linger after lunch before my matinée. Fairly standard menu but sometimes easy is good. No table cloths, but still modern and clean. I'd dine there again.
I guess you could call it leisurely. We had apps, entrees and dessert, and it took over two hours, with long waits between courses. The spaghetti bolognese was too salty and the calamari were pale and a bit soggy. It's a lovely space and convenient for the theater, and the staff was very nice...but we won't be back.
