   We went for valentine's day. It was an awful experience. When walking towards the restaurant I noticed that just about every window facing the street was cracked. The place was dead. No decorations for valentine's day and nothing special. Waitress had runny nose. Belonged home in bed. The menu is not inspiring at all. I love Greek food but the menu is pedestrian. My wife's chicken was served cold. Will not go back but dont think the restaurant will be around long. In short, worst meal in 5 years.

   Tried the flaming cheese appetizer. Yummy! It was fun, too! Perfect spot in Mayfaire for a dinner date or group event. OPA!

   We went on a very slow night and the food was excellent. The wait staff was bored so we got a little more attention than expected. My wife said her's was possibly one of the best roasted chicken dishes she has ever had.

   This restaurant has serious problems on many levels. The new menu looked like the old menu except it didn’t have the lamb shanks, allegedly their specialty. Nothing was exceptional. The bartender had a personality of a worm and the waitress, although tried her best, overdid it for the inadequacies of the kitchen. We drove from Myrtle Beach to meet friends for holiday dinner....bah humbug...

   Hello, our apologies for you feeling underwhelmed, I wish I had known about the issues so I would have been able to fix any issues you would have had. To address a few things, the lamb shank is not our specialty, however when we offered it it was one of the more popular dishes. While our new menu had some dishes from the old menu it had many new additions. Had I known about some of your complaints the day of I would have been able to fix the issues. We invite you to try our restaurant again.

   Symposium is an authentic Greek restaurant with a fine menu and great tasting dishes from appetizers to desserts. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Each dish was great tasting with freshest ingredients and distinct seasoning. A great dining experience that should make Wilmington proud.

   In town for the weekend and so happy to find this gem of a restaurant! Delicious authentic Greek cuisine, with a lovely ambience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for dinner or a date night.

   Here the first time for my wife’s birthday. The food was incredible. Server was very helpful and knowledgeable. We tried some new things and left very satisfied. We will be back! Oh and they brought my wife a complimentary dessert when they found out about the birthday. Give this place a try!

    Symposium had been very busy earlier in the evening, so we were fortunate to arrive at the restaurant when it was not quite so busy. We were immediately and cheerfully greeted. My spouse ordered Kleftiko and I had the Lamb Souvlaki. Portion sizes were generous and the lamb was delicious. In fact, I can honestly say it was the best lamb I've ever had. The family who who owns and operates the restaurant are very proud of their Greek heritage, and they make sure this shows up in the quality of the food and the warm greetings they and their staff offer their patrons. If you are at Mayfaire in Wilmington and want to experience great Mediterranean cuisine, Symposium is an excellent choice for dinner.
