Faith, our server, was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, from our reservation confirmation (which informed us that we had exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes to dine,) to the arrival of our food we felt rushed. Our appetizer, salad and main courses were served in 45 minutes. The entrees were ready before we finished our appetizer course and as a result arrived luke warm. Our food was delicious, but the dining experience was not enjoyable due to the rushed feeling. Nice restaurant, but foodies like to relax and savor good food. Sorry, Sycamore doesn't make our Columbus short list.

Charming, intimate restaurant with excellent food and service. We went early, prior to a show at the Ohio theater, and ordered drinks and focaccia from the happy hour menu. The drinks were fantastic - I had a pear Prosecco with warm spices, which is a perfect fall drink, and my friend got the pomegranate mezcal which was smoky and gingery. The focaccia and the tomato sauce that came with it were delicious. For dinner, I got the black bass which was perfectly cooked, with a slightly crispy exterior over cauliflower - it was excellent. My friend got the jamon iberico which was unexpected and interesting - it had the most perfect pieces of grilled baguette with fresh barrata and small pieces of Spanish ham and a tomato jam. So good! We finished the meal off perfectly with a huge chocolate chip cookie topped with a scoop of vanilla gelato. Our server was so sweet and knowledgeable, and made helpful and accurate suggestions and descriptions of the drinks and food. I cannot state enough how much of a difference great service makes to an experience. This is my new favorite place!! It’s so beautiful inside, with tall, original tin ceilings, a cozy (and full) bar, and comfortable booths. Can’t wait to go back and try more items!!
