My family had a great time! Service was excellent but was disappointed in the food quality. We ordered a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and paid $18 for 5 “jumbo” shrimp. They were definitely not jumbo. For the price we should have received 10. Bread was excellent and very yummy! We waited for a while for our food because there was a table of 23. We didn’t mind but when the food came out we were just under impressed. I ordered the asparagus and it was hard. My husbands steak we could have ordered at Texas Roadhouse and got the same quality for a much lower price. The dessert was fabulous! We loved the chocolate cake w/ ice cream. All in all we had a great time but not worth the value of money spent.
Great atmosphere. Brittany was a wonderful server.
TJ was our server and did an excellent job. The food was very good. It was an enjoyable evening all the way around!
The service of our waiter, last name White, was great. The wine he suggested was perfect. The meal outstanding in every way.
The food was terribly overpriced for the quality. I had a better lunch at the Whiskey Kitchen today for a fraction of the cost and a nicer vibe. Probably would not dine here again.
Great experience and food. We enjoyed the views and sunset. Great customer service....
Brittany was an awesome waitress.
Decor was uninspired. Host staff were friendly and competent. Bar was nice and bartender made great cocktails. For a major renovation, perhaps fixing the windows on the revolving areas would have been a good idea. Special was good value.
Food was very good. We liked the daily special for two. The new look was rather dull.
John our server was excellent. The best. He was kind, courteous and professional. John Templeton the manager was very attentive to us and other guests throughout the night. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. I will definitely be returning again. Overall it was a wonderful night out with friends and we all look forward to returning to the restaurant again.
Peter was our server. He was excellent 👍🏾
My salmon was good, but under seasoned. The guys ordered the surf and turf special - all was well with those meals. I took some of their roasted garlic & asked for pepper - after adding those, the salmon was much better too.
From the moment we walked in the service & staff were very welcoming. Our server David was phenomenal. We were celebrating our anniversary and with out even asking brought use each a glass of champagne. Knew the menu and had great recommendations. I ordered the pork chop and OMG was that delicious. My husband got the cedar plank salmon and that was delicious as well. Will definitely return on our next visit!
Worst breakfast/brunch I’ve had. Literally microwaved disgusting mini plates. Mediocre drinks. Service was fine.
Where to start. The halt house dining situation is really quite terrible. First walkers exchange, now this.
We went to Swizzle (first time for both of us) on a Sunday afternoon and were seated beside the most obnoxious table ever. One of those, “if I’m paying for bottomless mimosas I’m drinking two bottles of champagne” type tables- not the restaurants fault, but set the mood.
Our server was very pleasant. She replaced our warm glasses of water with cold ones since she noticed they were warm. I appreciate her attentiveness and she was prompt with anything we requested.
My Bloody Mary was fine.
The food however, was atrocious. Think holiday inn breakfast, but $35 a person. It is served in many small plates that you get to choose from. The danish was the best part. The “has brown casserole” was skilled potato’s with shredded cheese on top. Powered hotel breakfast eggs. Slimy crunchy bacon. Sausage out of a bag. Tiny shrimp with a little canned sauce on a bed of gooey grits.
We won’t be back to any establishment at the galt house.
Really good food. Nice place and people
Extremely nice place to go and has a wonderful view while dining.. John our waiter was simply the best! The food was wonderful especially the crab and the drinks were delicious!
This was a fantastic experience. Let me start with the (minor) cons:
Cons: Service was just a little on the slow side, steak wasn’t cooked medium rare as ordered, got a side I didn’t order
Pros: everything was still absolutely fantastic. View was incredible, ambience was perfect, cocktails were amazing. Even the bread was awesome. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The side I didn’t order turned out to be delicious, and so was the steak.
Something important to note is that they weren’t offering reservations to their full seating capacity. So many restaurants are still understaffed but allow all the tables to fill up, almost guaranteeing poor service and overworked waitstaff. Swizzle made sure the restaurant experience was maintained as they navigate eased COVID restrictions.
Overall - absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to return!
We enjoyed the experience. There were some pretty big spiders outside of the windows which disturbed my wife but overall not that bad.
Excellent food and service, very uncomfortable chairs, kinda musty smell.
Very enjoyable evening!
Brittany gave exceptional service. She made our dining experience very enjoyable.
Great service, food & atmosphere.
It was a wonderful experience right up until we realized (too late) they gave us the wrong to go bag. Not a very pleasant experience to open up someone else' leftover food.
Excellent! Cannot find one thing to complain about😂
my grandson and I decided to go to swizzles last night.service was excellent Kathy was very friendly and attentive..my grandson ordered the calamari as appetizer. he said it was not the best he has had but good..he would have liked it to have been a little browner and crisper .I thought the blt salad was a little heavy but tasty...they brought our steak and lobster and the lobster was perfect..nice size and cooked to perfection however the steaks were a little over cooked ...I ordered med and it was more med well and he ordered med rare and his was about med. but overall we had a great time. the restaurant is beautiful and comfortable....
Peter was a great server! The food was delicious and the view - great vantage point!
Everything was wonderful and our server Britney was fantastic! The only complaint is our sides didn’t come out with their entrée. Other than that had a great evening!
Excellent food and service. All Staff very professional and friendly. Food was hot and beautifully prepared. Server was great. Her name was Brittany.
Love the concept of bringing the buffet to you! We got to sample lots of things and hardly had room for dessert. I hope they continue this.
Great service from TJ who provided Champagne
Our server was informative, the manager was accommodating, the atmosphere was blissful (lazy Susan floor), and the food was the best I've eaten, ever. A must reservation for all occasions.
We decided to try for the first time for my nephew’s 10th birthday. The server was nice, friendly and attentive. However, the food was a big disappointment. Everything was severely lacking in any seasoning and was very bland. All 4 of us had the filet. Other than one steak, the rest were over cooked. There was a small sprinkle of sea salt flakes on the steak and that was it for seasoning; it really needed more salt and pepper. The mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese also lacked flavor. The broccolini was okay, but I missed the Calabrian chili, as I couldn’t tell it was even added and it had way too much sun dried tomato. While the server was attentive, it was very obvious that 2 of us did not eat any of the filet. She never asked if there was anything wrong with it, just offered to box it up. I also did not like that as she cleared dirty dishes, she stacked the plate with food to take home on top of our dirty dishes. We wish we would have booked somewhere else as the food was so not worth it and for $250 we could have eaten anywhere else that would have been better. On the plus side our server did give my nephew a free birthday dessert and he ordered vanilla ice cream, which he liked. Overall we will not be back and I would not recommend. For the cost and atmosphere, there are so many better choices in the city. Very disappointed.
Service was good, food was amazing, cocktails could use some work. We had the bacon as an appetizer and were surprised to only get one slice of bacon and pay $14 for it.
It was very delicious but the loaded baked potato was a bit plain
This was going to be a special Dinner for my wife Granddaughter and myself, It took quite some time for us to be waited on but they eventually came to take our order, We started with some Appetizers The Calamari and Crab Cake Both where the worst we had ever eaten and we eat a lot of seafood. Now lets get to the Main course my wife ask the waiter for a recommendation and he recommended the Scallops I ordered the Salmon and my Granddaughter ordered the Cheese Ravioli. The Scallops were sent back as they were uneatable, The Salmon was cold and Dry and the potato's would have been ok but they were colder than the Salmon. The Cheese Ravioli was also cold and tasted like it was leftovers from days ago! We paid for our meal (Not the scallops) and went home! This food was HORRIBLE!!!!
The whole experience was amazing! We had reservations and were seated right away. The server, the food, the drinks, it was all amazing!
Beautiful day, incredible view. Outstanding service.
We stopped here for a birthday celebration, and it was everything we could have hoped for. We had Brittany as a server, and she was amazing - very personable and fun. The cocktails were absolutely delicious and the food was amazing. Our steaks were slightly over-cooked to our likening, but overall we highly recommend this place.
The food made up for the absolute poor service and attentiveness to our table. For the amount of money you will be spending, you expect a better experience. Way too much fluff and unnecessary explanation of food and drink. I realize with post COVID issues with staffing, but restaurant was less than full and seemed to have a lot of employees walking around.
Brittney was an amazing server and gave us an anniversary prosecco toast to start our dinner! I was in the mood for a sangria that wasn't on the menu but she made it happen, and was very attentive. The sauce from the meatball appetizer was very basic but the actual meat in the meatballs was DELICIOUS, so worth it. everything else was great would definitely do special occasions here again
Excellent place for business lunch!
Spectacular panoramic view!
