SwitcHouse Restaurant at Marriott CityPlace At Springwoods Village
Great, quick service and quality food. The advocados fries are
Great!!!
I really like the ambiance at the restaurant. Our server, Reynaldo, was very helpful. Every single suggestion he gave us was spot on. The food was good and Rey was checking on us constantly. We definitely will go back.
The food was outstanding service the person who waited on us her name was Diana the atmosphere was clean and very enjoyable I would highly recommend it to anybody that would like to enjoy a nice dinner at a reasonable price
food was good just wish it was more of it for the price.
Dinning experience fine.
Food wasn’t well prepared. Too much seasoning that overwhelmed the meat. Chicken was dry. French onion soup lacked flavor. Service was slow.
Our appetizer (fried seafood) didn't come with the sauces it had listed and when we asked the kitchen just gave our server pico. Server needed more knowledge on the menu in general. Burger was overcooked. Why ask for a temperature on an $18 burger if you just serve it well done? The Snapper was excellent. The sweet and sour cauliflower was mostly broccoli for some reason and super greasy. The creamed elote side was excellent as were the cocktails.
Lots of bugs to be worked out at this new restaurant. Wine steward very knowledgeable and a big help but the wine list is in disarray. Wines listed a are sold out, very California-based list. List needs to be reworked.
Food, beef and fish were slightly over cooked for our taste. We will return but not for at least 6 months - more training and improvements needed for sure.
Didnt realize it was a burger/sandwich joint...
We went here on Mother's Day. First mimosa was free for mom, who also got a red rose. The server was very friendly and quick with drinks and food. The food was very good and fresh. The restaurant is in the hotel attached to the lobby but is better than most hotel restaurants I've experienced. There is free street parking and a parking garage across the street. It is best to enter through the hotel lobby doors and not the doors near the street.
On Mother’s Day brunch: Our waiter was fantastic. I know she only works the morning shift and was very attentive.. I tried to give it another chance for dinner with family visiting from out of town later on... but service was terribly Slow and we definitely felt ignored- food was still good - but they need definite improvement on their staff training for follow ups on their tables .
Excellent service and great food
Excellent food and service!! We will be back soon!
Amazing service and the food was outstanding!
Dunno why happy hours menu only at bar or lounge area if the restaurant offers the happy hour menu.
The restaurant did not have a good view of the outdoors. The menu selections were okay, but not a huge variety. The server was good but he was kept busy, through no fault of his own. My turkey was dry and salty. The dessert was good. Overall a good experience. Would go back.
Not what I expected. First, drinks didn't come on time. Second, server had to be reminded several times to clear the table of dirty dishes. Finally, when I get the bill there was a 20% surcharge. I thought it was gratuity, but when I inquired about it, I was told that reserved tables had a surcharge applied.I explained the this was not disclosed on Open Table and they proceeded to remove it from the bill. I wonder how many other patrons didn't catch this. This establishment needs some major improvements before I try and go back.
Walking in the front door we were greeted by one of the servers, not a hostess. She said that we could take one of the “reserved” tables which we thought was reserved for us through Open Table. A minute later our waitress came and said that the other server had sat us at the wrong table, but she could fix it in her computer. Huh? As it was Valentine’s Day they had a special menu with a limited choice for two menu. I ordered pork tenderloin with broccolini, and my wife ordered salmon. After a too long wait, the salad and soup came. My wife’s salad was literally a third of an iceberg lettuce drizzled with Caesar dressing and topped with a few nuts. My French onion soup was palatable but cold. The pork tenderloin came after another long wait, and it too was cold. I had a bite of my wife’s salmon and it was ok, but there was nothing else on the plate to complement it. I don’t like when a restaurant automatically includes the gratuity in the bill. I can see doing this with a large party, but when there are only two people, and a limited choice menu? As we were leaving we noticed a family of four seated nearby. They were given a regular menu. We had asked for a regular menu when we came in, but were told that because it was Valentine’s Day we didn’t have a choice.
I won’t be going back.
This was my first time going to SwitcHouse and I was thoroughly impressed. The ambience was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The only drawback was the cost of the crawfish & shrimp fondue. For the cost I was expecting seafood throughout the appetizer verses just a few pieces in the middle. Other than that everything was a lovely experience.
We went back to the same restaurant due to staying in the hotel. The food and service were repeatedly outstanding. SwitcHouse is a gem for food lovers. The decor is also amazing. It’s an all around excellent experience.
The staff were wonderful, and the food was amazing. Everyone made us feel special from the beginning to the end of our dining experience. The wine selection was well done. The Tenderloin and Sirloin were cooked perfectly. Also, you don’t want to miss the very tasty Eloté. Our biggest surprise was the rice pudding dessert. It was the perfect ending to an excellent dining experience. We will definitely dine at SwitcHouse again very soon.
