Our party of 15 was very satisfied, with our service, our waitress, and our food, I brought a cake for our easter celebration and the waitress took it for me and brought it out when we were ready for it. we had a nice visit with family and a relaxing time. Service was very good and our food came just at the right time as did the appetizers. We will definitely be going back here for future family get to gethers.

The first thing to mention is when we arrived on time for our reservation, the hostess appeared confused when I announced our confirmed reservation on open table. She didn’t even have a computer at her station. She said they don’t use open table. Our name was put on a hand written waiting list. We did get a table with a ten minute wait. The waitress was very friendly and took our order. We waited at least 20 minutes for our foid to arrive. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed for the near full capacity on a Saturday night. The food was mediocre at best and not very hot. I would not return to this location of Swiss Chalet.

The food was cold and we were told after an hour that there was no white meat for the chicken dinner and it would be another hour before we got our meals. We arrived at 6 and got served our dinner around 8.

Firstly, why is this place even on the Open Table App for reservations? Every time we reserve and show up, they never have our reservation and act like we have two heads. During our most recent visit on Friday we nearly froze to death. They sat us right next to the waiting area and every time the door opened, the minus 25 wind chill came in and froze us. My parents who are senior citizens had to eat with their winter coats on and were still cold. A good hostess would have recognized their age and placed us away from the immediate cold air. Our food was pretty good although it was slow in arriving and some meals were slightly warm at best. Our waitress was quite grumpy and we all noticed as she slammed our extra plates onto the table. She had to be reminded about drink refills as well. The only time she seemed pleasant was when we were paying. This Swiss Chalet has certainly taken a nose dive in quality. We’ve been coming here since it originally opened but our visits are becoming less frequent due to the poor service. It’s a shame because when the food and service are as we expect we really enjoy dining here.

I had reserved for 10 people, on December 10th.... for 5 p.m. on December 11th, and received an email confirming that the reservation had been received. However when I arrived there was no record of my reservation. Needless to say it was embarrassing for all. Fortunately it wasn’t super busy at that time so staff was able to accommodate the group. I won’t be confident to use that service again.

First, when we arrived, they seated us NOT with the other couple we were meeting. It was 1/2 hour before we realized we were both already there just seated in different sections. Then they gave us the wrong size of beverage from what we asked for. Then we waited close to 40 minutes for dinner. When we finally got it, it was cold. Then they screwed up the bill. We used to come to Swiss Chalet for the Festive meal but we will NEVER go again. I am SO disappointed in the service. I can see one mishap, MAYBE two but the whole night was a joke.

I was disappointed that the Turkey Dinner was all gone including Pies, Next year I might get an earlier Reservation, Thanks for the service tho.

Was a very good lunch and the service was great. Unfortunately computers were down and i could not receive my Scene points for the day.

Again, our service was not the best. We had a reservation for 5:30, waited for someone to approach us, and she took our orders for drinks and dinner at same time. We did not receive our drinks until our dinner came at six. It was a hot day and I was very thirsty, and would have appreciated some liquid earlier, before our dinners arrived. I will be thinking long and hard before I return to this establishment again. Food is good, but the service over the last couple of years has not been good, not sure why. Last couple visits have noticed a decline in number of diners, usually short wait times, and empty tables. One would think that someone ( owner/manager ) would clue in to the fact that they are doing something wrong and attempt to correct the situation, but since no one seems to care, I don't care if I return, at least, to this Swiss Chalet.
