   The Band and Singer on Tuesday night were great. The atmosphere was fantastic like being in the 30s. A lot of dance and joy. The service was very friendly. We had a soup which was delicious. The drink a coffee martini was OK. We will definitely come back on our next trip to N. Y.

   Supper club with a 1940’s feel, this place is always a favorite when we visit NYC. The perfect combination of live entertainment and dining, together at an affordable price. Dance experience is NOT required, they teach a beginner lesson. We always make an advance reservation, but friends have joined us as walk ins when space is available. Wonderful food & service

   The Music was Excellent. The Big Band was tight and swinging. The Service was great and the food very good. Great location in the heart of Theater district. Recommend the Monday night Jazz set.

   We were table of 10 for dinner and show. They put us in an uncomfortable spot in the front of the room up against the wall. We spent $1200 and the food was just ok. The pork was fatty,the salad was a bowl of lettuce with few pieces on top and dessert, which is the easiest to create was horrible! The entertainment was good but would be reluctant to suggest to a friend because of the food.Service was good but they could not adequately get to all of us around the table.

   We went to Swing 46 for Valentines Day and it could not have been any better! The George Gee Swing Orchestra was playing and it felt like a throw back to the Savoy. Get there early and take the dance lesson, so fun. We aren't dancers and were there for the music, but once the better dancers hit the floor the music got even better. It was like Chick Webb was in the room! The music was outstanding. Then John Dokes jumped on stage. All the women in the room swooned to his sooth as silk baritone. The food was excellent. We had the filet and shrimp. It was a great night. We stayed for all three sets!

   We had such a GREAT TIME. The Hostess was lovely and very helpful in changing my reservation so we could take full advantage of the evening's festivities. We can't wait to go again.

   I don't think I would recommend it as a restaurant - it wasn't terrible, it was just OK. The food was OK. We waited almost half an hour before someone took our drink order. After that food order and dinner delivery was fine. Thought it was odd that we were TOLD to check our coats, which turns out to be a $2 per-item fee, not a tip jar. The couple in front of us must not have had a good experience, because they refused to pay the $4. Dance lesson was fun. Music was great!

   We went to the restaurant at 6:00 (before the music and dancing). Although the food was good, we did not have the best service and I was hoping to at least be able to have some live music, otherwise it is like any other restaurant.

    First time visit to this restaurant, have eaten at many restaurants on Restaurant Row. Past by and always wanted to dine here, now I know I waited to long to try it. The food was fantastic, service was friendly and thoughtful. Will definitely come back for dinner and a show next time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Brilliant night and great food. Band were fab it is quite loud though so dont go here if you want to chat and have a quiet meal. It is great for a meal with a difference

    The food was good... the music was fantastic! But the service was TERRIBLE!! From the moment we arrived, it was bad. There was no host to greet us, and the bartender called over to let us know that someone would be with us shortly. When the host continued to chat and never came to seat us, the bartender came out from behind the bar and took the initiative himself. It took forever to order, and when the drinks ran dry, no one ever arrived to offer another round. When a dessert menu arrived, we waited 30 minutes to order dessert and coffee, but the server never returned. We finally gave up and went to find the waiter to request a bill. Ironically, he was busy with the manager and a table of 6, who were also complaining. The manager literally scoffed when asked for a check so that we could leave, and completely dismissed me. As did the waiter. We would have spent WAY more, and stayed much longer, but they didn't give us the option. So we went elsewhere and dropped another $150 before the night was over. We won't return. Definitely NOT recommended.

    Not what we expected. It was our 28th wedding anniversary and we were excited to go dancing and to dine. When we arrived we were told that dancing would start at 9:30 and there would be a Dance lesson at 9. We didn’t think too much of that at the time but it became clear that it wasn’t the elegant supper club we thought it would be. The waiter sat us at a table close to the serving station which was noisy even though we wanted a quiet table and had told them in advance it was our anniversary. They wouldn’t move us. Then they came quickly to ask us for our order before we had a chance to look at the menu. The restaurant was empty until 8 pm. The food was ok but nothing special. And then at 9 the dance instructor showed up and started teaching line dancing. My husband and I were expecting jazz and to swing dance. It’s called Swing 46. They refer to themselves as a supper club- not a bar with a rock band. But really that’s what it is. And to top the evening off they charge a $20.00 Music cover charge per person. It was an extra $40. On top of the cost of dinner. I never write long, bad reviews but truly, make sure you know who is playing, what they’re charging and go somewhere else if you are looking for an elegant, jazz supper club experience.

    Emphasis of this place is definitely on the show and not the food. Very average for the price even by NYC standards. If we went back it would be to sit at the bar with small plate apps and listen to the live music. Skip the dinner unless you are starving

    The atmosphere was very nice, but the music was too loud in the room with the band so we had to change place. The staff was very helpful and proceeded immediately. The food portions were big.

    The drinks were pretty strong which is always a plus… They had happy hour at the time that my friend and myself went so I bought one drink but I got a second one for free… We got the $40 special which included a salad your entrée and dessert… The music was beautiful I mean who doesn’t love jazz? Service was good and the ambience was wonderful… I plan on definitely going again next time I’m in the city!

    So fun. My daughter's 25th birthday celebration. Enormous "New York Pour" (large/generous) cocktails. Gorgeous, amazing, incredible, swing band, The Charles Turner Group, played and sang their brilliant talented spectacular world class hearts out. Sweet and simple swing dance lessons. Much better than expected, simple but expertly cooked, American style food. Lovely and welcoming staff. Very friendly, very inclusive, People of Color, whites, LGTBQs, Straights, young, old, regulars, newbys, NYers, tourists in the crowd. We'll certainly be back.

    This restaurant and swing club was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone that is interested in this music. The food was also very good. They made a great effort to include everybody in learning how to swing.

    Celebrated our last night in NYC at the jazz supper club on restaurant row in mid-town. Food and service were great and we heard a little nice music. They were on of the few restaurants where we could enjoy the prix fixe menu since my spouse has several food issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

    Drinks + Dinner + Comedy @ Swing 46. Very good service and ambience... The comedy acts overall “Ok”...a few really funny acts. The food was “Ok”...my table ordered from the fixed price menu and the general review was “Avg”...my salmon was not as flavorful as I like and another member of our party had to return her chicken .... it was pale and reportedly not cooked to her liking also; once escalated our server handled it promptly! We enjoyed the Swing Drinks! 🍹Mild and sweet...just how we lightweights like it!😅 The overall service was very good...our server was friendly and attentive to our needs. I plan to return for the jazz and dance 💃🏾 lesson experience!

    Nice little place in the theater district, had no real idea, what to expect. So I was surprised to hear they had live music playing! Which added a nice charm to the ambiance of the restaurant and allowed me and my partner to enjoy our meal even more.
