Swiftwater Cellars on Old Main
Bringing Swiftwater Cellars of Suncadia to Bellevue.
We came for Easter Brunch. The service was pretty good but the food was super slow to come. Almost an hour and a half wait to get served. And it wasn’t very busy They could do more to make their brunch plates special. The Eggs Benedict was good but the presentation was pretty boring. Nothing on the side, not even a piece of fruit or spring of parsley. We come often for happy hour, most likely wouldn’t come back for brunch.
Came for Easter brunch. Our waitress was lovely BUT the service in general was so slow. It was 20 minutes before we even got water, then decided to order right away since we had already waited so long for service. Drinks took a long time and then mine was the wrong thing. When our food finally came, it was all cold. We weren’t about to wait again for new food so we ate it but it’s pretty dissatisfying to eat cold eggs........ the poor people behind us were there before us, although they ordered after us, and still hadn’t gotten their food yet when we were leaving! This was our first try for breakfast here, don’t think we will go again. Normally I come here for lunch and it has usually been ok. Disappointed with brunch for sure.
Solid food and service. No complaints. Had Cauliflower with buffalo sauce for appetizer, wagyu steak, and chocolate hazelnut cake, wine and coffee. All good. Dessert was so so but overall good experience!
Great food and service during our 3hr 2 bottle of wine lunch! Didn’t rush us and continued to fill our water glasses after eating.
I was excited to try this place out but was disappointed in the food and the prices. We opted for some appetizers instead of an entree. We got the brussels sprouts, tuna poke and burrata caprese. The brussels sprouts were pretty hard, like they hadn't been cooked long enough. We have had brussels sprouts in a lot of different restaurants and these were by far the worst. The burrata caprese was not bad. The tuna poke did not have very much tuna. Overall the amount of food was also pretty small for the price. The prices and portions are more like at a fine dining restaurant, which was not my expectation for this place. It seemed like they were trying to be more casual with fine dining prices. I will not be going back because there are restaurants that give more and better-tasting food for the same or lower price.
Additionally, the hostess said that our OpenTable reservation was not in their system. This wasn't a problem because they still had a table for us, but obviously would have been terrible if the restaurant was full.
Our server Ruby was excellent. My lunch mate and I ordered the bacon cheese burger and she immediately checked with us if it was cooked to our specifications. She has a sense of anticipation and moved with urgency. After we were done with the main course, I asked to see the menu but didn't specify so she brought the breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert menu. Thanks Ruby!
Wish they could do something about the noise level but the food is always great
Food was very good. Wines excellent.
Swiftwater has outside seating which we love, great menu options, excellent service & easy parking!
It was a great atmosphere and everyone's food but mine was great (don't order the Caesar salad). Our waiter was a bit too serious and would disappear for long periods of time. There was a fire alarm and that is when they totally kicked in and took care of us . . . . brought us wine and dessert as we waited outside. So I would recommend it as a casual place to meet friends.
Loved the wine flights and they were a good value. The food was good but the menu was limited. We will be back!
Spectacular wine tasting presentation ! Great location and service.
Birthday dinner for my wife and everything was perfect, our new go to spot in Bellevue!
Sergio provided outstanding service. Food was great. Thanks
Stuffed chicken and steelhead were amazing
Married at Swiftwater winery...celebrated anniversary at Swiftwater Bellevue
enjoyed a nice lunch there. love the gluten free options (veggies, salads, and proteins). fried cauliflower - huge hit. very attentive staff. window table is nice, light, airy decor. we'll be back.
Excellent food and service...thank you!
Friendly staff. Restaurant was not busy so we had our pick of tables and no issue moving when we decided to move to the window. Food was great and we enjoyed our wine
Server was pleasant, but it took awhile to be greeted, to order drinks, and server didn't come back to check on food timely. When we inquired about the red wine being served ice cold, the manager told us it was stored in a keg in the garage. Didn't offer to replace. Food was very good. Salmon was excellent. Pear and brie flatbread was very good. Buffalo cauliflower app was excellent, as well.
Excellent service and great food. Quiet atmosphere was comfortable. Parking garage under the building
Great salmon, short rib, lamb.
The service was noticeably slow (understaffed/overworked). The food was great. I don’t think we’ll go back because I want better service when paying higher prices. Waiter was doing his best, but under the circumstances was not friendly. Also it was cold, not the food, but the restaurant itself.
Good for friends gathering after work, etc. Not a romantic place if you're looking for cozy and quiet. Food was excellent! Service was great.
The beef tenderloin and the steelhead were both excellent, and the carafe of proprietary red wine was very good and very reasonably priced. We’ll be back!
We had the price fixed menu with wine pairings. The timing of the dishes was strange, we received the steak (third course) minutes after receiving the second (salad). We had to wait a long time for the first course (soup). The soup (crab bisque) was far too acidic and the chardonnay was also acidic, so a bad pairing.
We've eaten here before and really enjoyed the food and wine, so I think they weren't so well prepared for the Valentine's Day dinner.
Food was delicious, drinks were good, service was fantastic
Table was available - restaurant wasn’t too crowded- server was nice but one of sides arrived after we finished dinner. We had to box up the truffle Mac and cheese which is much better hot than the next day. Apparently, the Mac and cheese didn’t get the order in. Also dessert was tasty but they failed to add the vanilla ice cream to the chocolate decadence as promised. Probably better for lunch than dinner IMO
The salmon was amazing great find
Staff was very helpful and great insight to menu
Wonderful place! We had great service, excellent food, and the restaurant’s ambiance is nice and upscale without being too much.
We eat here a lot - it's convenient for us and upbeat. The food is inconsistent. The quality of the ingredients seems high, and sometimes it's great. - but they got our order wrong is so many ways - it's wasn't the waitress - it was the kitchen. Though better audit by the waitress maybe could have identified the shortcomings instead of us. We'll give it another try.
The noise level due to the acoustics was quite terrible there was a two table party celebrating in the same room and the two of Oren had a hard time hearing each other
Was very exciting about trying the restaurant and especially seeing the private rooms as possible event space. The food was good - service was awful. Restaurant was 40% full at best - took over 30 minutes to get our food. Server never check on on us, no explanation, no apologies. Will not be back
Lovely location on on old main with great parking. Atmosphere is pleasant, not too loud and tables are far enough apart no one feels on top of anyone else. Food is fun and wine is really nice at a terrific price point.
Service was great! Drinks were excellent and the food was very good especially the steelhead. A very nice place with nice staff and good ambiance.
Great service, great food. This is one of our new favorite locations.
Great experience. Wine Flights were awesome and my wife said that it was the best tenderloin she’d ever had.
We enjoyed a light dinner and the New Year celebrations at Swiftwater Cellars, with musician/DJ as a great added-value. Dinner salads were spot-on, fairly good cocktail selection and decent bubbles at fair prices for glasses and bottles. Recommended.
