Great food. Very spaced out in a post covid world. Service was excellent. Get the lobster and pavlova.
Not what was expected left hungry
Everything was excellent. Look forward to going back.
Great service, shared the crispy rock shrimp and mushroom risotto both were great! Highly recommend the S&S margarita the Jalapeño Agave Syrup added the perfect amount of heat that was just divine. Will definitely return.
My experience here was absolutely horrible I will not be returning
Server John T was very professional helpful and engaging - great recommendations - food perfectly prepared - nice environment
Shared side dishes - very large portions
Kampachi crudo very interesting appetizer
Hostesses and bartender Justin added to experience
Food and service were incredible. Highly recommended!
They should bring the entire happy hour menu back If they’re doing a happy hour menu at all.
We came for our date night and had a wonderful time. Very dark and romantic, perfect for a date. The servers were very personable and sweet. Food was delicious, especially the oysters! Everything came out in a timely manner. Looking forward to our next time at Swift and Sons.
Always good food and great atmosphere. Server was extremely nice.
Outstanding experience overall. Food was excellent. Service was top notch.
It was my fiance and mines first visit to Swift & Sons and we were very impressed. We started with the crispy shrimp which is the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. He got the ribeye and I got the mushroom risotto ( which was amazing ) along with the side of mushrooms and the mac n cheese. The Mac n Cheese is just okay in comparison to what I make at home but these mushrooms.... THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER ATE. Our server was Scotty and he was very fun. We will most def be back and bring friends with us.
Great meal and environment! Excellent service. Will be back.
We came here on April 20th for our anniversary and had such a great experience! My husband proposed to me here, 4 years ago. I reached out and asked if they could figure out what table we sat at and if they could seat us there. They pulled through and even had an Anniversary card on the table for us when we got seated! Edgar was our server and he was fantastic and made sure we had an excellent experience. The food is so delicious and they have a great wine list. We look forward to coming back in the near future!
this is one of the best meals that i have ever had in Chicago. the service was impeccable and the food...if you don't get the beef wellington, you are truly missing out.
it was amazing!!
Have been here a handful of times but this time around some of the items were overly salty and not that great. Hopefully just an off night.
Nice Cocktails, food was good. The appetizers were good. Steak was fine not special. It was nice to be out for dinner.
I thought over all a B rating for A+ pricing.
This was a fantastic establishment! The service was impeccable with our waiter Steven walking us through the menu and giving us his recommendations. Our other waiter, Charli, did a great job at making sure we had water and asked us if we needed anything.
The beef wellington was incredible as well as the cocktails. Will be back next time I am in Chicago!
We enjoy a nice steakhouse, but we won’t likely be returning to this one. Our impression of Swift and Sons was that they was trying too hard. They had limited cuts of meat (no ribeye) but did offer some (2) Wagyu cuts. Sides were a little off. The Caesar salad offered no anchovy or egg, but instead sun dried tomatoes and very salty croutons. I was happy they offered 1/2 portions of salads when ordered the beet salad. The honey mustard dressing begged for chicken fingers and the puffed sorghum was really just salty. Our creamed spinach was very good and what one expects from a steakhouse. My husband enjoyed his Wagyu Striploin, but my medium rare filet was done a little too much on the outer portions...the very center was a nice medium rare, but only the center...the rest was medium to medium well. Cocktails and wine were nice.
It was for my girlfriends birthday ! Very lovely setting and excellent service, the check took a bit to come out to us but it was such good food and an experience !
My husband and I came here to celebrate his birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Food, waitstaff, ambiance everything was great.
We were pleased with our experience… It was our first outing since the pandemic began. Happy to meet up with fellow vaccinated friends for a special birthday dinner for my husband. The food was delicious, the service was great and we were happy to be out.
Steak was great wasn’t to crazy about the sides. Our waiter was wonderful and he had great drink recommendations. Every drink I had was very good. I would go back for drinks but for the price of the food I wouldn’t go back for dinner.
Highly recommend, I’ve been to nearly all the steak restaurants in the city, swift and sons is the best.
Been going here since they opened. Never again! Bad service, over salted everything, no flavor to our steaks (other than salt!) Burnt brussels and the twice baked potato we got looked like it was stood on and then had cream poured over it. Waiter didn't care, manager even less so! Such a shame!
Very disappointed in the quality of the food. Strip steak tough and not very tasty. Caesar salad very mediocre . I had had a good meal there several years ago so was disappointed on 4/5. Service was fine.
I haven't been to Swift & Sons for awhile and always had a good experience. On Easter Sunday, I was disappointed. The steak tartare was probably the worst I've even had, anywhere. There were pieces of fat thoughout, had no taste and wasn't even plated well. Expected more from a steak house. I might go back on a weekend in the future and give it another try simply because this was a first time offense.
Their customer service is amazing! Everyone was welcoming, accommodating and very nice. I would definitely visit again.
My fiancé and I had Easter Brunch At swift and sons. The food was very limited with only five choices, and when it arrive not only was it cold, but the eggs, part of the eggs Benedict dish looked like nasal fluid. It was too raw even for the adventurous. The egg white wasn’t cooked at all. And to top it all off for two people it was $270 which is not what they advertised. It was supposed to be $85 a person and how we got to $270 is a joke. We have eaten with your establishment hundreds of times and never have we had such an experience as this one. We’ve spent Valentine’s Day with you guys, we actually even had one of our first dates with you guys. The food served today coupled with the ridiculous price tag and I only say ridiculous because the value was not there on top of the food being cold on arrivals, and the eggs looking like nasal fluid, we have zero desire to eat at your establishment ever again.
All around good and always consistent. Great attention to customer service.
This twice a year brunch was excellent. Food was delicious, though I discourage ordering the chilaquiles, everything else was scrumptious with a portion size that actually exceeded my expectation. Highly recommend.
Another great one at Swifty’s
Food was fabulous. Ordered all the appetizers and the beef Wellington. Will come back again!
The beef Wellington was out of this world amazing. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
The food is always good and has never disappointed. They had a new appetizer called KAMPACHI CRUDO which I thought was incredibly delicious. Wished I had ordered two as my main course. The wedge salad is great but enough for two people. Also, they make a wonderful onion soup. I had the salmon as my main course and it was perfectly grilled.
My husband had the pork cacciatore which was tender and terrific, cooked to perfection.
Top notch great experience! Thanks to Swift and all the Sons! 😊
Arrived late in the evening... was concerned that the food and service would be compromised... boy, was I wrong! Everything was on point for our 30th wedding anniversary! Thanks to the entire waitstaff and kitchen... everything was amazing!
