Nice service and atmosphere
Outstanding place to chill and get a bespoke cocktail
Great restaurant
Great location, perfect for a first date but a bit loud.
I really liked the atmosphere. Good food. Loved the shrimp roll. Great drink menu.
The food was very expensive and the drinks were small and expensive .
Happy Hour was great but Not a place for dining
Great stop in a string of small plate places we were hitting for the night. Killer cocktails as well - you MUST try the one with sake!
Great for drinks
Great little spot, staff was excellent and very accommodating.
Our first trip to Sweet Polly's. Very enjoyable! It's primarily a cocktail/wine bar - so the drinks better be good. In fact, the cocktails were excellent! (and strong). The food menu (which you will need, along with the drinks) consists of oysters, bar snacks, cheese/charcuterie plates, and a few "mains" (still not very large, but shareable with 2 people). We did not have any oysters, but we had a cheese/salami platter and one snack (shishito peppers) and one "main" (burrata salad). All the food was good, solid, not spectacular. Altogether this made for a fun, casual evening. It's perfect for 2 people for a date, or a "date night" with your spouse, or any time when you're looking for good drinks and a light, informal meal.
Went with my mom pre Sam Smith concert and it was delightful!
Love this bar. Great place to grab a drink. will be coming again on a date.
Went for Sunday brunch for a friend's birthday. Had heard it got crowded by when we arrived there was only one large group, one couple and a few people at the bar. The space is small but well-laid out. They were having a special--1/2 price for bottles of sparkling wine so we went with a delicious prosecco instead of cocktails (when she saw that we hadn't finished the bottle by the end of the meal, our waitress offered to put a stopper in it so we could take it home). For food, I had baked grits with eggs, my friend had a watercress salad with bacon. Both were tasty and satisfying. Definitely plan to go back in the evening to check out the cocktails.
Very very underwhelmed with this place. We had family in town and needed a reservation for 8. We booked this because the food looked great and the ambiance looked comfortable. However, it was not busy at 1:30PM when we arrived and yet we waited over an hour for food. There was one waitress in the whole place, and she was constantly on her phone. She kept making excuses for why we didn't have our food, forgot about drinks and was generally non-attentive. We were very disappointed and embarrassed to have brought our family here. Not a great experience for food, might be better for cocktails or for people with a whole afternoon to waste.
The menu was great and the atmosphere and decor is un-fussy but stylish. But - it was. so. loud. 5:30 on a weekend and yelling to hear my friend across the table.
Otherwise, I'll go again. But on a weeknight or for brunch.
Great service and food
The staff and food were amazing. Service provided the perfect balance of attention and space. The experience complimented our anticipation of celebration.
Great ambiance, great service, small plates of food, very expensive overall but a fun night, with great drinks.
Incredible brunch, the tables are tiny. Set up more as a bar which belies the awesomeness of the food. Great Brooklyn chill/ Fancy vibe
Cute, small place. I went for brunch and enjoyed the avocado toast. Get the Michelada; you won’t regret it!
Love this place. Excellent service, excellent cocktails, every time.
The bar program is on point.
Our server Steve was amazing!! The whole experience was so pleasant and we will definitely be back. We’ve already recommended to lots of others in the neighborhood
Bartender was cool.
Love this place. Great quality and friendly service every time
We had a reservation for 6 and were seated after 3 cAme. They were accommodating and had good drinks.
Took my wife to the Met for her first show. This was a great way to start the night. Great pub atmosphere and food was good too. Did not disappoint.
Wonderful, eclectic cocktail bar that makes one feel like a big-timer as soon as one enters off Flatbush. A vibrant, romantic and somehow unpretentious scene.
Love coming here. Their cocktail menu is so creative, and there's always a few new ones on the menu. The wine selection is great too, not huge, but all are great picks. Trendy spot where you can bring a date or friends and relax and have a great time.
A touch loud, but not unexpected. Portions are decent for sharing and the staff was nice and very accommodating. The tables are round and smallish and better for drinks versus a proper meal.
The food was delicious ! Wish there was more fish or vegetarian options !
Drinks were amazing but the presentation was even better !!!
Great little spot for craft cocktails!
Love this spot. They were super accommodating to our larger group. Cocktails were amazing and their oysters were some of the best I've had in Brooklyn. Would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for an original cocktail and delicious bites.
Don't go here expecting dinner. The menu is quite limited and portions are small, so good for drinks and snacks (meat and cheese plate, salad, etc.). The small tables in the bar area, too, aren't conducive to dining.
Sweet Polly has a great energy and the cocktails and food are outstanding. I would highly recommend for a casual get together for two people. I do not recommend for groups of more than 2. The tables are tiny and we could not eat comfortably.
Sweet Polly's website said that they serve brunch starting at 11 am. I booked brunch for 12:15 pm through OpenTable and it was accepted. My friend and I went over there in pouring down rain only to find that they were closed. An employee said they didn't open until 1 pm. Nobody contacted me or left a message. Sweet Polly needs to update their website and options on OpenTable accordingly!!!
Great lounge to relax in before/after any Barclays Center event, especially for couples.
Have been here several times but this was the first time for brunch. The food was very good but Bloody Mary was way too salty. For the second round I asked for a little less of the pre-made mix so I could add some water. Concept was over the bartender's head.
