Swagman Country Dining brings you a true taste of Australia with sumptuous, meats and vegetables infused with unique and wonderful flavours of Australian bush herbs and spices, the majority are grown on the property. Our concept is proudly brought to you by the vision of Sandy Retallick who was inspired to use native bush plants to create unique flavours. The Retallick family have dedicated the last two decades to rewilding much of their 600 acres of land and preserving native species of both fauna and flora. Our Chef works passionately in collaboration with Sandy to bring this vision to fruition by developing irresistible flavours to Swagman. Our wonderful front of house and kitchen staff play an important role in bringing you a memorable experience.

    The BEST eye fillet steak ever! My companions had the barramundi and the prawns and they were both very impressed by their meals. Attentive, friendly staff. Nothing was too much problem. Highly recommended. A hidden gem.

    A special treat for a special event. 'Twas perfection. The sweetest service, the most sublime view. the most expert cuisine and a post-prandial walk in a native animal conservation park. There is nowhere like it. And the restaurant also features a gallery of historic pottery,' This is hospitality Retallick style, where nature and culture meet elegant food - all in the grounds of an alpaca farm. Generous serves, wonderful fresh flavours of native herbs and spaces... Not noisy, unhurried...Don't miss the crocodile spring rolls!

    Duck, lamb & steak were cooked as ordered to perfection. Sides were excellent too. Excellent service. We'll keep coming back again & again.
