   I’ve dined at Suzie Q many times and have always had great experiences, but unfortunately, last night’s dinner fell a little short. We were on the Feed Me menu, and while some dishes were excellent, the chicken and fish were quite dry, and we struggled to finish them. The highlights, however, were the fried pork and chive dumplings, the calamari, and the steamed barramundi — all absolutely delicious. As always, the service was fantastic.

   My partner & I have come to Suzie Q a few times now and we have just fallen in love with everything the venue embodies. Incredible food! Truly amazing, the aesthetics of the restaurant, the lovely and helpful staff always beginning with the hostess Jo who greets you at the door and makes you feel right at home. To the kitchen staff led by Ben who is very passionate and you can clearly see how much he loves what he does. Last night we sat on the counter by the kitchen to celebrate our anniversary, only to be surprised with a cocktail shot and sparkler from Jo and the bar staff. To us just proving once again it’s the little details that make a dining experience so memorable, which they are so attentive to. Cannot recommend this Suzie Q enough to couples, groups or even solo diners for a memorable experience.

   Very good restaurant, the ambiance was great and so was the decor, all done very tasteful. Menu had plenty of options and it al tasted amazing especially the salmon sashimi and the chicken bao. We loved the fried rice mixed with the morning glory. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

   As part of the Mamas dining group, we knew what to expect with the menu and the food quality, which has never failed at any of the restaurants, and reigns true for Suzie Q. Beautiful interior, atmosphere was exquisite. Sitting at the bar it was great experience and the staff were so lovely! We had a server introduce themselves and tend to our table, as well as introduce the other staff. As a celiac, dining out can always be daunting, however the server was great - he marked dishes off the menu that were not suited to my dietary requirement (one of my favourite things about the Mama's group is how accomodating they always are to dietary requirements). The server/bartender checked in with us constantly. He kept us updated with our dishes, advising us that he noticed it had been a while and that he followed up our docket with the kitchen (so nice of him - we were in no rush and could see that the kitchen was busy and did not flag the wait time at all) In the next 5 minutes the food arrived :) The food itself, can never fault. Beef tartare was AMAZE, one of the best flavour wise that I've had. Of the larger plates, the sweet and sour pork and fried eggplant were both delicious in their own respect, with nice balance of umami and sweet. However, I felt those dishes could have been more saucy (to go with a side nicely) or have other elements on the plate to make it more of a meal instead of seperate dishes. All in all still nice. Will be coming back to Suzie Q, atmosphere and the flexibility of the menu will bring me back here - can't wait to try more dishes from this restaurant. Highly recommend for a beautiful, cozy bustling restaurant atmosphere and Chinese dishes with flare.

   I got the $49 Feed Me meal, which offered 2 large dishes, 2 small dishes and a side. Food was amazing and it was very generous. Interior is stunning. I'd definitely come back!

    The wait staff are what make this place so memorable. Been three times this year and never leave dissatisfied. Food tastes great and highly recommend the feed me option.
