   Everything was very good, especially the service, but not the prime rib sandwich. They use slices and end pieces of well done meat, and it makes the sandwich somewhere between really disappointing to bad.

   It was pricey for what we received and in comparison to other steakhouses. We were celebrating a birthday, but they don’t bring out any complimentary dessert or make mention of the birthday, even though we put it in the reservation and told the server . A little disappointing that this is how an 83-year-old decided to spend her birthday on her actual birthday and it just didn’t feel special at this restaurant . We ordered the cherry cobbler to share and it was just so so. The entrées and the hot sides were also just so so. The best part was the crisp salad served as one of the sides if that is the option. The salad was crisp and nicely presented . The visit was A little disappointing that this is how an 83-year-old decided to spend her birthday on her actual birthday and it just didn’t feel special at this restaurant. When she asked if they cooked the salmon and butter, the waitress told her yes that is how it is cooked and didn’t let her make any modification.  The restaurant is nicely decorated, and was comfortable and clean.

   Marie and the SM Crew are SECOND TO NONE in service and quality!! Their outdoor eating area is wonderful and accommodating! SM is the BEST RESTAURANT OVERALL VALUE in Southern California.

   Old school steakhouse with the best prime rib in town. Friendly staff and prices can't be beat!

   We LOVE this restaurant!! This is the only place we go for big special occasions. Anniversaries, birthdays etc. Their food is incredible as always. Their surf and turf is to die for! They make the best Greg Goose vodka dirty martinis. They make them perfectly the way I ask, including hand stuffed blue cheese green olives for my martini. We love the wine selection, dessert selection and they have excellent options for the appetizers. We love the bacon wrapped shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms topped with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. If you haven’t tried this restaurant, go and get there as fast as you can. You will feel like you’ve been missing out on a hidden gem of Simi Valley.

   The service is always the best here!! The food never disappoints either. Unfortunately, about 7 of 10 items we usually order are now off the menu due to Covid (from what the staff told us). It’s unfortunate that some of our favorite items are off the menu now, but we still go back for a Wally Burger and to say hi to everyone who works there (the most friendly staff ever!)

   We had excellent service and everyone enjoyed their meal. The only comment is one of the prime ribs had a large piece of fat, otherwise all else was good.
