We went out for Easter Sunday with my mother for a late dinner. The appetizers were good. The drinks and desserts were fantastic. The main meals were not great. The rice was undercooked in one meal, and over cooked to the point of crunchy in another, even after being sent back to be fixed. The asparagus was extremely under done. We will be back for apps, drinks, and dessert, but will not be back for a full meal again. Service was good.
We have had wonderful experiences prior to this one. We placed our childrens' meal orders first yet they came almost 10minutes after my entree. My entree also was disappointing and lacked flavor and cohesion. The server didnt seem too concerned. I was hoping she would have made a suggestion or shown more compassion.
From the food to the service, everything is just simply fantastic. Never a disappointment.
Being Easter Sunday I know that it was a busy time, but service was bit slow. I wanted a bottle of Sauvignon blanc and was asked if I wanted a New Zealand to which a agreed. I don't see it on the list and little did I know that it was going to be $50.00. I will take part of the blame for not asking, but $50 is way too much for almost all New Zealand wines. We will be back. We like your restaurant and always been satisfied with the quality of the food and service.
We were a party of 4 for Easter Brunch/Lunch. We did arrive early for our reservation and were welcomed and seated right away. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable and our drinks came quickly. We ordered 2 starters and waited about 45 minutes for them. While we waited the waitress served us an order of bruschetta to hold us over til the food arrived. The apps came and were not so gently plopped down on the table, nice and hot and were delicious. We were enjoying them and were not even half way through them when the entrees arrived. Some how we managed to get all the plates squeezed onto the table and ordered another round of drinks. All the food was excellent and so was the waitress. I would have given a 5 out of 5 if the snafu in the Appetizer area of the kitchen was handled better by the food runners and the management. We will be eating at Harvest again maybe not on such a busy holiday.
The food was excellent, and our server was above and beyond helpful, energetic, and enjoyable. The restaurant was quite full and so the noise level was a bit higher than usual, but given the festive day of Easter, it was not overbearing or annoying.
Food was amazing! Great place for Easter brunch!
Always a treat to dine here. This was the first time that it was not packed which accounted for low boise level. Our waitress was superb and because it was early and they were not busy she could spend some time with us.
Our dinners were excellent and beautifully preseu.
Alex is the reason to come and get a great table! Rachel was super patient w/my older parents....each 90-something...
I love going to Harvest. I usually have a great experience. The Jamaican salmon salad is to die for, our server was superb. She knew a lot about the wines. The only negative thing I have to say is their lighting is way too dim. Sometimes I feel like I'm eating in the dark.
We made a reservation at this place before heading down there. However, even after being seated for almost 25-30 minutes, we were not even provided a glass of water (talk about service !). No server ever came to greet us or anything. Finally when we all got up to leave after half an hour, a server, very unapologetic in her attitude, asks us that if we can wait (more wait hah) she will be back - are you guys kidding us !! While walking out, neither the usher nor the server ever made an eye contact. The attitude you can clearly sense was "we are too busy to care". When you are running a restaurant, you are groomed to be warm and welcoming (missed big time at this place). We had a farewell dinner planned for our friends on the night and they completely ruined it. It was an embarrassing and a horrible experience at the same time at the Harvest. I will highly NOT recommend this place to anyone.
please serve pita chips with hummus and not cucumbers and carrots
Wonderful Brunch selections! The Carrot Cake Waffle is delicious! The Aperol Spritzer was a great pairing!
Took my mother out for her birthday and to celebrate my son’s first baseball game. Food was really good and I was happy to see so many gluten free options.
The food was excellent, but I was most impressed be the customer service from the time we entered the restaurant. Every employee was engaged in this mission.
Great experience as always!
We were disappointed by the food...both of our dishes (Lemon Chicken and Porkchop) were overcooked. Portions were not particularly robust. The crab and corn soup we started with was a rather thin broth with no crab at all and not sure we came up with any corn, either. While we sat in a booth, which helped mitigate the noise, the space is pretty loud. Will not be going back.
The infused whiskey sour special was off the charts.
Harvest always has a wonderful, seasonal menu. The servers are helpful and pleasant and very nice atmosphere. Always a wonderful time
Dinner with my brother who lives out of town
Service was great as always. Food was very good but a bit expensive.
I met friends for brunch and I was disappointed to find only 5 options for brunch. I ordered off the brunch list and my order was wrong and my food was cold. The juice tasted like frozen canned OJ. I was very disappointed. My waiter was supper nice though. I won’t return there for a long time.
Went for my girls b-day drinks were good but pricey. food was also pretty pricey, ordered salmon which was good my lady got “spicy” noodles and it was not spicy at all. Restaurant is waaaay too dark. You look around and people are reading menus with smartphones 🤦♂️. I’d give it one more chance i guess .
While we are not from this area, this restaurant is among one of our favorites. The food is exquisite, the service attentive, the ambiance is very conducive to a most enjoyable experience and the prices are just right. If you are visiting or passing through Harrisburg, PA, this destination is a must!
This was our third visit. As always, outstanding service and creative dishes were offered.
It was a crowded Saturday night, and we arrived early for our reservation, but we're seated right away with no waiting.
Our waiter was attentive and personable. It was very busy but he kept up with checking on drinks, and there were no long periods in between.
The food was very good. The ONLY thing I would mention was my husband's Wagyu steak was somewhat chewy, but not awful. Maybe we expected it to be more "melt in your mouth", but it was very tasty. The other two guests had it as well, with no complaints. I ordered the trout, which was fantastic.
Overall, a very pleasant experience! I've read other reviews about prices/portions but we knew it going in. You are also paying for the atmosphere and experience.
We will most certainly return in the future!
Excellent food and service. Perfect place for dinner for two or groups of friends.
Enjoy Harvest every time I dine there. Always have good service and always enjoy my meal.
Everything was absolutely terrific! Our waiter was fantastic and the food was amazing!
I normally would recommend Harvest to a friend, but this last visit made me rethink that. Our server was likely busy but she was rather forgetful. And the broccolini and potatoes on my plate were burnt and not even edible which I think she should have noticed. She did get me more, but I was almost done with my salmon before we could get her attention to tell her about the vegetables and then get the replacement.
Very accommodating with varied dietary needs. Superb service.
We have always been pleased with the food and service at Harvest, and this past visit was more of the same. The seasonal menu is delicious and lots of choices to please everyone
Never disappoints. Spring menu is great. Vegetarian eggplant parm delicious! Great place for birthday celebration with coupon for a free desert. It is our go to place!
Great server, good food! One of the best burgers ever. Artichoke dip was very good just needed more naan bread!
Always excellent!!! Love the menu and beverage varieties.
Great food, great waitress and real noisy that night. Glad to see the spring menu back! Love that spring garden flat bread. A++++
We visit Harvest quite often.
Normally we rate Harvest as excellent in all areas. This time, however, we were not pleased. Service was very slow (tho we understand this may be because of the roll out of the new menu). Most importantly, we were disappointed by the Spring menu. I had the Smoked Salmon flatbread, while my husband the Super Grains Bowl. We probably will not order those items again. However, we are still devoted Harvest fans and will try again.
We hope will not have to wait long for the return of the Pear & Blue flatbread or the Cuban Bowl!
Erica, our server, was phenomenal! Great enthusiasm about the menu and she took time to suggest, detail and explain favorite dishes/menu items! She was attentive, polite and added to the positive experience we had dining at Harvest this evening! Absolutely LOVE the spring menu and am so glad that the avocado & pea toast appetizer was brought back!
It took way too long to get drinks, apps, entrees. Waited about 20 min. to see a server.
