We were seated and within 2 minutes we were approached separately by 2 waiters asking if we were ready to order. Tempura shrimp is about 75% tempura 25% shrimp. Entrees were bland. Overall just not impressed with the food and service. Way too many solid choices on 5th Avenue over this place.
Great fresh food
Great dinner outside on 5th Ave!
The service was great the food was tasty and hot. The restaurant was very crowded.
Disappointing. Plain food, little taste and slow service. Authentic it is not.
This is a great little place, went there on a date in January so it’s a little cooler weather and they didn’t have heaters outside like the other restaurants and I’m from New York so I wanted to sit outside because I don’t normally get the chance to. The food was okay, def not worth $75 for sushi plate and fried rice but I guess that’s what you pay on fifth ave s. Probably won’t go there for dinner again.
Awesome! Great food and service.
The food was good. Nothing mind blowing, but nothing exceptional either.
Great meal, huge menu, wonderful ambience. Highly recommend.
Awesome Happy Hour 3-6pm everyday. You get so much fish and all the servers are so sweet! I Go often
Sushi Thai Downtown in downtown Naples is vibrant and loaded with energy. We experienced a wonderful meal and had a visit from one of the owners Nina. One concern was the slower than expected service. Nina explained to us the restaurant was handling more takeouts which caused the staff to shift focus. By the end of our meal service improved.
A few members of our group were experiencing Sushi and Thai for the first time and enjoyed their meal. We will return to enjoy great food and say hello to Nina.
The food was so so good but service was not. Our waitress rushed us to order and did not refill waters or listen to requests and our reservation seemed to not matter when we arrived and were waiting. The gratuity was included which probably explains why customer service didn’t occur. The food was worth it but in the future i’ll probably just order take out!
Granted, it was New Year’s Eve, but..... We had a reservation and were seated at our outdoor table after a short wait. Someone who did not have a reservation got mad that we were seated first and made the waitress question us regarding who had seated us. Then no one approached the table again for 40 minutes except once to ask if anyone had approached us. It took forever to get our drinks and food once someone did finally take our order. Then we had to flag someone down to get our check, only to be given the wrong check which was for a much larger party. Don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.
The sushi was great but the ambiance was amazing! Kid friendly and service was great! Would highly recommend!
Took 30 mins to get a drink menu. We only got that drink menu because we got up and went inside to get it even though we asked for it 3 times. No outdoor heaters when it was cold. Seems a little off for 5th ave Naples. Food was not good. Green curry was too sweet and sushi was “meh” at best. Service was so bad the waiter was over worked and inside they seemed very unorganized. Won’t ever go there again. Worst meal I’ve ever had on 5th avenue
Unfortunately the kitchen was so backed up it took 2 hours to get our food, appetizers came after the main course and cocktails came after that
Not sure what’s going on here? We have been there many times before and there were no problems
Four of us dined on Xmas night and had a variety of dishes. We had made a reservation for outside, but it was cold, so we requested to be moved indoors. They kindly obliged. The service was prompt and friendly, and after we finished our meal we wanted to sit and chat and the server did not appear to mind this at all. The food was good, but nothing special. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience and they took precautions to ensure we were seated at a table appropriately distant from others to protect us from Covid spread.
Came in late December; tourist season in swing in Naples. Busier than expected for a weeknight. Expansive menu, with Thai and Japanese selections. We had sushi options. Fairly typical of sushi restaurants. It wasn’t impressive but didn’t disappoint either. Ambience was somewhat wrecked by a wealthy drunk at the bar who was quite loud at times. Service was outstanding; friendly staff. We moved tables at their request to accommodate another group, and were rewarded nicely. Would go back again. Fun place, worth trying more of the menu options.
First time there, but will be back for sure! Good food, nice outdoor area and lovely indoor for after Covid!
The food was great. There was a minor issue with the timing of an appetizer arriving after the main course - the waiter and manager handled it perfectly.
We stayed with mostly Thai dishes - the curries were tasty and nicely spicy.
We's recommend Sushi Thai and plan to return.
Our first time there but we will return. . .food & service were excellent. Choosing a dish was tough as the menu is full of items we must try - so we'll be back.
My husband and son took me to Sushi-Thai for my birthday. This was our first time there, and it was a wonderful experience. We arrived shortly before 6:00 pm, and our waitress informed us that happy hour was still in effect and we were able to order drinks at half-price. We ordered several different dishes - appetizers were Tuna Yuki (ahi tuna, avocado, cucumber) and Jumping Seafood (spicy mixed seafood salad). Both dishes were incredibly good. For dinner, my boys had the Sushi Mori - a HUGE dish of ultra-fresh sushi, and I had the Swimming Angel - chicken, shrimp and vegetables in a wonderful peanut sauce. So, so good. We also ordered pad Thai with lobster and just the right amount of heat... delicious!
Needless to say, we will be returning to Sushi Thai as soon as possible! IF you’ve never been - put this restaurant at the top of your list!

Very average in every way. Nothing special on the food. Service was ok. Would not go back given the other choices available
Food was very good. Service excellent and prices very reasonable, especially for 5th Avenue location.
We have eaten here often and the food is always good, but on Saturday night we found the service to be very very slow. We will keep coming back though because we love the food.
This was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. Our table was ready one half hour early! The waitstaff was very nice. The selections were many. Most importantly the sushi was presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
We have been coming to sushi Thai since they opened, it is always great food and service
Everyone enjoyed their food! We love to eat at this restaurant offering fresh & very tasty dishes. The service is always welcoming and great.
Very crowded but it is the season. The usual maitre’d was not there and they were handling a lot of takeout orders but after some confusion we got our table and had a great meal.
We requested a quieter seating area which we received in the back room. The front rooms are more lively but we would not have been happy there.
The server was excellent- friendly etc but he was extremely busy.
The food was delicious. We had not been there in a few years and now realize we must go back often. Food was fresh- every dish was delicious
The food was wonderful, as usual. However, the restaurant called to confirm , after I had already confirmed through a open Table, and then they didn’t seat us until 20 minutes after our reservation, and it took another 50 minutes (total 70 minutes) until our order was taken. The restaurant wasn’t even very busy!
There was no real host as you arrived . He was busy handling take out orders and when free, he would seat people . Food took 45 minutes to come , once we finally flagged down a waiter to take our order. Fish was not high quality . We did have Thai vegetables which actually where quite good.
Me and 4 other friends had an exceptional meal and service. Our waitstaff, Kit, was attentive without being overbearing and he delivered everything at an even speed so that we never felt rushed. Tempura was light and abundant; sushi/sashimi boat was more than ample and impeccably fresh. Thank you for a great dining experience.
