This place is a crock. I've called the better business bureau and reported them. They would not refund me even though they closed. I'm also calling the news to report them.
Sushi Suite is like no other dining experience I have been to before. Entering a secret hotel suite, being served amazing cocktails personalized to your favorite spirit and flavor profile, and dining with only 5 other fellow foodies face to face with the sushi chef!! What else could you want?! If the atmosphere and exquisite service isn’t enough, the high quality of fresh sushi is. Chef Jordan is extremely professional and knowledgeable of the sushi and the region and quality that they provide. He is so personable, fun, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend making a reservation here ASAP. You won’t be disappointed.
Cute idea to install a sushi bar in a hotel conference room, and if you don't know anything about sushi, it could be a lot of fun, especially if you don't mind the rushed 75-minute meal, thumping EDM music and amateurish service. But if you *do* know something about sushi and wonder why a $125 meal features substandard fish often served too cold (except when it's served atop rice that's too warm), then you'd be better off at Juno, Yume, Mako, Arami, Momotaro, Kai Zan, Tanoshii West Loop or, for the city's best, Kyoten.
Best sushi experience in Chicago. Hands down, no contest. Monica and her crew are amazing.
Appreciate all of the staff, as they created a really nice event for my partner and me.
This review not reflective of the bartender who presented us with individualized drinks, tasty drinks. The meal however was dominated by the chef. He catered to one couple that clearly was engaged and enjoying themselves. However the remaining group found him to be intrusive and, negative and loud. He tore apart every sushi program in Chicago. When I dine, I like positive energy in my food. While many top chefs, iron chefs, etc may not meet his standards for food, we would have welcomed the opportunity to just enjoy our meal without the lecture.
Cute dating place
