Sushi Seki Times Square
Also on the main floor is our Chef’s Table and Chef’s Counter, where Chef Tetsuya is at the helm delivering our latest offering, the seasonal Kaiseki Omakase. Kaiseki, this traditional multi-course meal is a gastronomic expression of time and place, offered A La Carte or Omakase, where Chef Tetsuya harnesses the best ingredients of the season. Our Kaiseki menu is a feast for the senses, where the presentation, taste, aroma and dining environment all play an equally important role.
The entire second floor can now be privatized for a large event, but also features three private Tatami rooms for more intimate gatherings with Sushi, Sashimi and our latest offering, Kaiseki Omakase, as well as our Whisky bar and Lounge which are suitable for an intimate pre-dinner cocktail or a special event.
Absolutely delicious! We had the yellowtail, yellowtail with jalapeño purée, salmon belly, fatty tuna, and spicy tuna with crispy rice. It was all so fresh and flavorful. For appetizer we had the tempura shrimp and vegetables, and some oysters. It was all amazing. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the sake and we ended up with a sake flight.
Had a great experience. Lovd the Omikasa. Would definitely come back.
Good cuts and fresh fish. Fairly innovative but not at the top. Nice chef..:will go again.
Excellent food and service!!
Before show dining. Got us in and out fast and food was good. Great place to go since we didn’t want heavy food.
Incredibly experience trying omakase for the first time! Such a nice staff and service and some of the best sushi and sashimi I've ever tried.
Great pre theatre option! Wonderful food and service. Perfect Choice and the food is outstanding if you like sushi. Go for it and you will not be disappointed!!!
Omakase is the way to go. Creative non-traditional sushi.
Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by and dining with us. We appreciate you, and we're glad you enjoyed the omakase! We hope to see you again soon for more!
We love the Omakase dinner at Sushi Seki , and love the Times Square location.
The presentation and creativity of the sushi dishes is the best!
Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time out to write this. We appreciate you and we look forward to seeing you again at Times Square!
We went late night after a show - 11pm arrival. The place was pretty quiet but wait staff were still friendly. Sushi was very fresh and Miso Cod was delicious.
Had a truly delicious omakase here. Pricey but worth it.
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time out to write this. We're so happy that you enjoyed the omakase. We hope to see you again - hopefully soon!
The food is brilliant. The price is very expensive.
Hello, thanks for taking the time to write this review. We're very happy that you were pleased with your food. We hope to see you again soon!
The omakase was amazing the chefs were very friendly and it was great to sit at the sushi counter. The only thing we didn't like was that we did not get told that dessert was part of the omakase by the server or the chef so we ended up paying extra and ordering double dessert which was unnecessary.
Overall it was nothing short of fantastic!
Enjoyed an outstanding post-theatre meal. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Was incredibly happy with the experience. If you enjoy sushi, don’t miss this place - particularly the chefs selections.
The sushi is outstanding! Dessert can be better.
We found this restaurant online and chose it based upon reviews, proximity to our hotel and the theatre, and the menu. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!! The service is outstanding, from the hot towel before drinks and appetizers, to the prompt attention to the delivery of drinks and food. The nigiri and sushi were fresh and delicious. The chicken teriyaki was flavorful and tender. Drinks were delicious. A must when I visit again with my foodie friends!!!
Best Sushi in the land. Seki is an absolute Master Chef.
Delicious meal! We went based on a friend’s recommendation for dinner before the theater. The staff was very attentive, and asked when we checked in whether we were seeing a show and at what time. The food was excellent (scallops roll so good we ordered a second) and service fast. I would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant and look forward to going back!
Both traditional and modern items. Good spot close to Theaters.
We had a great family meal here. The servers were excellent, very attentive, and the sushi was fresh and delicious.
Very Good Japanese Restaurant we think even better than the Original on 1st Ave
Not worth the money, just okay, great service, did not walk out feeling amazing
We eat at the eastside location frequently. Since we were going to the theater we decided to try this location and we were happy that this location is as good as the original. Everything was really delicious and the staff was friendly and professional.
Had the special sushi dinner. Really enjoyable. I am not going to claim to be a sushi expert but for what it is worth this was the tastiest sushi I have ever had. Service was excellent also, prompt polite and efficient.
Food was extremely good! I’m not a big sushi fan but the sushi was so good that I ordered several more plates
Good sushi, convenient location for pre-theater dining.
Food was very good, ambience is lacking but the food quality and service made up for it.
Had the Sashimi Omakase and sat at the Sushi Bar. Some of the best Sashimi I have ever had. The presentation was as beautiful. I highly recommend this place.
Still love their original location but this was FANTASTIC
Much nicer than the Upper Eastside Restaurant
Great food but they have reduced the size of each piece of Sushi. Pretty soon you will need a microscope to see it. But my wife loves the way each piece is prepared and I can honestly say the food is great
It was just ok
Prices way up quality down in last few years
Great experience overall. The Sushi Dinner was excellent quality and I enjoyed every piece in the order. I'm being nit-picky for taking points off ambiance, but the dining area felt a little barren and cramped because of the low ceilings compared to the wide space. Luckily there weren't many patrons at the time of my visit, but I wonder how loud it would get when the space is filled. I want to give 5 stars for ambiance because of the beautiful array of floral decorations in the center of the space, but the overall space felt too modern, sterile, and barren. But the food is excellent and I would not hesitate to come back.
The sushi was so fresh! Definitely worth the visit.
Small, almost flavorless portions of fish in a dinner that included special Seki preparations of sushi. The warm, friendly service and being able to have a relaxing dinner before heading to a show saved this from being a bad experience.
Service was very inattentive. Food was okay. I hated were I was seated.
sushi seki is the best sushi in new york city by far. the experience is incredible. the food is beautiful, delicious and served like little gems! the staff is top top top! if I didn't want to keep it as special treat I would eat there three times a week!
I highly recommend!
wonderful and quieter option for outstanding sushi in the otherwise chaotic times square area. Omakase was great!
