Delicious from start to finish. We almost didn’t get the grapes for desert but we’re glad we did — each one is a completely different flavor. Lovely young servers. It’s a special, high end traditional omakase experience.

We love to celebrate special occasions at Sasabune and this was one more for the record books. The fish was outstanding and delectable and the wait person was excellent. The chefs work their magic from the sashimi to the blue crab hand roll, and the ambience has been spiffed up a bit with mood lighting and soft music. We adore this place.

Everything about this sushi bar was great, quality of the fish, presentation, and service was excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and went over the menu with great detail. Service was fast and the ambience was quiet and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend. Try the specials!

Disappointing experience. Expensive but not high class. Fish was not fresh, ume was terrible, we had to send it back. Overall, poor quality, think before booking.

We had the "Japanese Omakase" and the house sake, which were both fantastic. I'm going to be chasing the dragon of that fatty tuna sushi for the rest of my life. Seriously one of the best things I've ever eaten; it just melted in my mouth. In addition to the traditional offerings, the omakase also included several stunningly displayed pieces: the scallop presented in shell like the Venus DeMilo was truly incredible (and delicious), oyster on the half shell with little carved radish garnish (mine was like a super mario mushroom; I had to take a photo to show my kid, it was so adorable), and the shave ice with matcha foam for dessert was beautiful. Of the *many* dishes we were served, the only one that wasn't up to snuff was two miniature crabs which we ate whole. They looked impressive, but tasted bland. I'd recommend the chefs to try something different instead. Everything else was executed to perfection and delighted the senses. From uni to salmon and everything in between, I've never had a finer meal. Our waiter was also a charmer. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us to choose a sake (their house sake was deliciously dry) as well as gave us tasting notes on all of the dishes. This was a wonderful experience in a small, quiet restaurant that felt very intimate. We'll be back, I'm sure :)

Absolutely amazing! Service was phenomenal and the all the fish is so fresh and they way the prepare each sushi/nigiri is perfect. Melts in your mouth!
