This restaurant is no where near Old town Scottsdale! False advertising. It’s connected to a W hotel.
Waiter literally brought us warm white wine. OPENED the bottle and didnt bring a new one. FOOD wasnt bad but not worth the price.
Kind of pricey but the quality and variety is very good
A bit pricey for the selection and portion size, but good quality.
The sushi was very good and the service was incredible!
Great spot, food is awesome and staff was great. Sit at the sushi bar and watch the show in front of you, top notch rollers.
Food was amazing!!! Mikala provided great service.
5 star start to finish. Mia gave great service and recommendations. Management stopped by a couple times to welcome us and ensure everything met our expectations. They even comped our desert to celebrate our anniversary. Been to many sushi restaurants, and this is top 2 or 3.
Very basic sushi and sashimi for gourmet prices. Nothing special about the chefs selections and garnishes. Wine list is deceptively written. Clearly marked on the top, but don’t assume that a price/price is a glass/bottle like every other wine list is anywhere else. The bottle prices are on the next page. I learned that with the bill (they offer carafes of wine and sake and label prices as glass/carafe). Very tricky.
Outstanding! We were there for the anniversary special which is incredible! The food was beyond amazing! Michaela is exceptional..ask for her as she guides you fantastically thru the menu.
Great Experience. Food is incredible. Our Server Emily was Excellent, on point, personal & engaging.
Food is always good. Especially when they have their anniversary special. Drinks are a bit pricey but food made up for cost. Server was good and prompt.
service was absolutely abhorrent. Most of food delicious - few rolls were pretty fishy. Cocktails good. Desert subpar
Good fish. Good rice. Kids accepted. Excellent sake
Terrible service and most terrible food.
For sure I would not recommend to anyone.
Service was not good and usually is. Was disappointed and usually love it there
Sushi Roku was great! The ambience, service, and food were delightful. We were celebrating two birthdays that evening *small party of us*, and we had a baby along, as well. During the early part of the evening, my elderly mother accidentally spilled one of the small bowls of teriyaki sauce. We mopped it up discreetly with one of the cloth napkins, but instantly, one of the master sushi chefs from the sushi bar close by appeared soundlessly with a smile and an extra cloth napkin! Now, that's service! Great evening, and love the location in the heart of Scottsdale.
Coming from Washington, we never expected a sushi place in Arizona to be this amazing. The food was absolutely delicious!
Great place! food was delicious and environment was great for a friday night.
Sushi Chef - Tony can make some real incredible sushi and sashimi. He uses a mix of different flavors with the fish to make it taste so good. I always visit Tony whenever I’m visiting Scottsdale. A great place to have sushi!
Always wonderful!
The rolls were absolutely tasteless. The sashimi tasted almost like it was smoked, not like normal fresh sashimi.
Was really slow for there only being three other tables and what looked like a full staff. Waiter was friendly. Food was good.
Great ambiance and very good sashimi
Best place! It was date night and had the best service!
Had much higher hopes for lunch today! There were only 3 other tables seated but somehow it took about 40 minutes to get our food, which was a pretty simple order. Four out of six of us ordered the same sushi roll. Forty minutes go by and we finally get our food except one roll is missing. They gave it to the wrong table but didn’t even acknowledge this or apologize. Our server was no where to be found for 90% of our visit. We had to ask the server for our check twice. Probably won’t be returning anytime soon!
The waitress and hostess were good. The kitchen unfortunately was out of two menu items we tried to order - the grilled octopus and wagyu bees carpaccio. Our dinner reservation wasn’t even late. So found that to be really weird for a Wednesday night.
A bit of confusion being seated - we were told to sit at the bar until the dining room opened. Once we were seated at the bar, a server came and offered us drinks and appetizers while we waited for our table. So we ordered our drinks and an appetizer, after which time the server said we could go ahead and put our entree order in to "get it started". So far so good, right? So... then the server started bringing out our setups to the high top as if we were going to sit at the bar to eat. I asked if we could be seated at a table, as that was the point of making a reservation. In the meantime, servers were changed, and now we had Mason. he brought us our appetizer and we told him we were waiting on a table. During this time, we were told by a different girl that we had to close out with the bar before we could be seated at our table. So as I am sitting there wondering how this was making any sense, we were then escorted to our table where we were given a NEW server. He brought himself up to speed on our order and we thought, ok... maybe it will be smooth sailing now. Enter Mason again. He was now taking care of us again (which actually made more sense). Our order came, and the food was good. Mason was very attentive. Now for dessert (or so we thought). After perusing the dessert menu, my wife and I became tantalized by the description of the bread pudding which we ordered. We sat in eager anticipation, only to be told some 10 minutes later that, "we are all out of the bread pudding". Sadly we declined any of the other desserts and asked for our check. To summarize, while the food was great, the confusion of our seating and the lack of communication and confusion between hostess and servers was a bit disheartening and put a damper on what could have been an otherwise lovely date night for my wife and me, as illustrated in my rating.
The food was ok. We have had better experiences at this restaurant in the past. The fact they allowed people to eat there in their swim suits without any cover-ups and naked body parts showing and touching the furniture made the ambience and atmosphere sour. This was not so in the past.
Took a date here. She had the Chilean Sea Bass, and the Senshi roll, with The Ish. And a Tuna Sashimi.
I had the Wagyu Kabob and Softshell crab roll, with a sake flight.
The Chilean Sea Bass and Kabob were great, as were the drinks.
The sushi was pretty mediocre for its price.
Service was good, waitress was knowledgable, helpful, and friendly.
Super Loud, but that's to be expected.
Food was great. Waiter was great. Hostesses should be trained to speak up and make eye contact.
Ben was an outstanding server, he made some great suggestions!
Great Father’s Day dinner with awesome food that was just as good as the Vegas Strip location, great service, and they made it a special occasion with the awesome firework dessert. I was so glad that they had the S’mores dessert that has been discontinued at the Vegas location. We don’t like really loud restaurants with really loud music that’s hard to hear each other talk, but it wasn’t horrible.
Great service
Love it! Great sushi and drinks!
The food is nothing special. If you want sushi I beg you to go somewhere else. It's way overpriced for the ruby portions you get and even then some of the things on the menu are just awful.
For a desert land locked sushi restaurant, this was a pleasant surprise. Big selection of fresh, top shelf fish. Beautiful setting and great service. Let somebody else pick up the tab.
Nice beautiful location, good food and great service!
