Food was delicious, but had a lot of truffle taste. Service was mediocre.

Our best post-covid service yet. Whole staff was aware of the rooms needs and wants, worked together but still gace us plenty of space to have a private meal. The food was great! Everything we tried was exceptional. Wish we had one of these back in stl.
Hot sake machine was broken. Some of the cooked sushi was cold as well.
Server was great but they forgot multiple things and they were still on the bill. Things came out 30/40 minutes after ordering
A cousin was in town and we had a great time. The drink menu seems amazing and I look forward to enjoying the journey through the amazing sense awakening that comes with this place.

Been here twice. The Sea bass dinner is crazy good. Appetizers also excellent. We got 2 sashimi type of apps, yellow tail and butterfish. Brussels sprouts were not a good side dish, kind of a mushy mess with a confusing sauce. Very pricey with small portions but def some of the best fish in town. Hot or cold.

Food was ok quality (Edamame/veg roll) and horrible value however, I only went for the vegetarian items so take that into consideration. Only thing good here is the ambiance.

Some of the worst service I have ever had. The restaurant was almost empty and it still took over an hour for our food. The server was very rude when we brought it up. Would not recommend.
Hostess was very unfriendly. We dine here all of the time, we are locals. We were 15 minutes late for our 6pm reservation and they gave up our table. Had to eat at sushi bar which was totally fine, but Hostess acted very put out and lectured us like we were children!

Probably some of the worst service I have experienced in the history of my dining career. Over an hour wait for food, one drink offered in 2 hours. I will never come back to this restaurant. Over priced and absolutely no guest experience.
I really expected our sushi and food to phenomenal for the price. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Food was just okay and way overpriced.

Great experience overall. The Toro was exceptionally stringy for $12 a piece per sashimi. I was surprised that barely any of the staff and only one of the sushi chefs were wearing masks. I doubt all of the people not wearing masks have been vaccinated against Covid. I love Sushi Roku but won’t feel comfortable dining there on a busy night again anytime soon.
The decor and menu are spot-on for an upscale sushi experience. And the sushi itself was great - flavorful and nicely presented. However, the service, albeit super-friendly, was definitely confused, at least in the kitchen. The first order of sushi came and then we waited, and waited, and waited, for the other three orders, for, I kid you not, almost half an hour. Couple that with the fact that most of their sushi chefs went maskless, and you wind up with three stars. At these prices, I expect them to bring the food out for everyone at roughly the same time. It's not like they needed to bring stuff out before it got cold, right?

It was a great ambiance, but the customer service and distance measures were not the best. We were 2 feet apart from another couple, also my guest is from the bay area where covid regulation tends to be more conservative. Will certainly go again.
Beautiful ambiance, but gas station quality sushi. Drink here, socialize here, but do not eat the food.
The hostess was very rude and not accommodating. Thankfully the manager dark-haired lady helped and was very professional. It was an easy fix. Again thanks to the lady manager but you need to get another hostess asap.

Was only able to get a 5:15pm reservation as all other times were blocked, yet the whole time we dined we were essentially the only ones there. Might have been due to the early time, but the staff spent most of the time hanging out and taking to each other at the bar. The white wine was warm, and the sushi was so-so. Ended up eating minimally and leaving to spend our money elsewhere. If you are expecting a solid sushi experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Fantastic service and even better menu! The perch and sea bass skewers were a must order!
The fish was impressively fresh. But the sushi choices were very limited. And most were described as spicy, which many people don’t want. The limitations and small menu left me wanting to go find another place for sushi. I do have to say the server was fantastic, just the right amount of attentiveness, and helpful so I could ask for a few changes.
It literally took 65 minutes from between our primary meal and dessert. And we ordered the dessert before we even got our meal. No explanation, nothing. Very frustrating.

We love coming to Sushi Roku and everything on the menu is delicious. Love the Tuna Jalapeño roll and the warm crab hand roll, as well as the seaweed salad. We love this place so much, we brought friends in from out of town to eat here. Everything was great, but our server was so rude and ignored our table for most of the evening. My friend has a food allergy and the waitress seemed apathetic and dismissive. Very short and rude to our table when we were asking questions about the menu. Waitress was more interested in serving a table of all men next to us. This is not the normal experience we have here, and would revisit this location, but will think twice about coming back here on a weekend evening.
