Sushi Roku - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
I rated this overall low due to the points that were given to Open Table. When the reservation was made it was for 1000 points however only received 100. I have the confirmation number 2110280922 showing this. Why did this change.
I really don’t like playing these games!!!
With that being said, our experience at Sushi-Roku was Wonderful!!!
Food and Service was Excellent
Large selection of Sake and expansive drink menu. Server was very friendly, knowledgeable of the complete menu and very attentive. Food menu offers a wide variety for anyone looking for Sushi, Sashimi and Seafood dishes. Sashimi and Sushi were fresh and delicious. Excellent staff from arrival thru the entire meal.
I was SO disappointed by the restaurant. I’ve been to the one in LA and found that to be just great. This location was not great, in fact I found it to be terrible! The rolls weren’t good. I didn’t see the chief make the tuna for a spicy tuna roll which leads me to believe that it wasn’t cut up fresh - this is not ok. The salmon cappuccino was way too think and quite tasteless.
I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to eat. We left after only 3 items. Totally bummed us out and it was our wedding night. Will never eat there again.
While the food and service were good it was not "good value for the money". Three individuals in my party, one reasonable glass of wine for one person and the total bill before tip $220.00. Also, the restaurant is hard to find and tucked back in the corner on the 3rd floor. Not much action happening.
We try to make it out here every time we visit Las Vegas, and it did not disappoint! Our waiter recommended a fantastic variety of authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Best value and quality we’ve found! We’ll be back!
3.5 stars. Mixed review. That being said YES we would go back. LONGER REVIEW. We are locals who have been to Sushi Roku 25+ times ever since it opened, and it is one of our Go-To places on the Strip. Normally 4.5 stars, it slipped just a bit this time. SERVICE: We asked for a scenic out of the way table, and it was really out of the way against a wall. Tip - ask for one of the tables against the windows - great view of the strip. Carmelo was our server who was Excellent - great amount of friendliness, attentiveness and advice - a nice experience. Food came out all at once - we would have liked the appetizers first before the "entrees", but they were busy on a Thursday night and that was a minor gripe. FOOD: We "buffet" styled it between the two of us. A-5 Wagyu Japanese beef appetizer - Excellent. Popcorn Shrimp Tempura - Excellent. Sea Bass "sliders" - Excellent. Nothing left here and we are not big people. The one "Fair" entree was the Anago sushi - my companion is a former Thai chef and it was not as fresh as we expected. Fair. OVERALL: All that being said, YES we would go back. This is a hip, cool, go-to place in Vegas which does it well over and over. One slip this time.
We really enjoyed our meal! We had the seared filet skewers with asparagus and foie gras and Shishito peppers as appetitzers: Great! For our entire, The White Lotus Roll and Katana Roll were wonderful! Great view of the strip and friendly and prompt service!
