Sushi Kashiba is Seattle's destination for Japanese fine dining at its highest level. Located next to historic Pike Place Market. Take a coveted seat at the Omakase sushi bar, where you just might find multi-James Beard Award nominated Chef Shiro Kashiba holding court.

Most guests order one of Sushi Kashiba's chef curated sushi dinners. The mix of fresh local fish as well as delicacies from Japan and around the world will satisfy the palette of seasoned sushi fans as well as new entrants into the sushi world. This was the most amazing sushi experience I have ever had. Chef Shiro Kashiba is indeed a master of his craft. We were honored to sit at his counter and watch him work. Worth every penny!! We will come again.

This was our very first omakase experience, and wow—Sushi Kashiba set the bar incredibly high. From start to finish, it was a 10/10 in every way. We were seated at the chef’s counter and immediately felt welcomed by the warm, attentive staff. The service was exceptional—gracious, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. Watching the chefs work right in front of us was not only mesmerizing but gave the entire evening a personal, intimate feel. Every single piece of sushi was a work of art. The flavors, textures, and precision behind each bite left us completely blown away. It’s hard to pick a favorite because every course kept topping the last. (But my favorite was definitely the tuna and jack!) Yes, it’s a splurge—but it’s so worth it. This isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. We left full and happy. If you’re considering trying omakase for the first time, Sushi Kashiba is the place to do it. Highly, highly recommend!

This was a world-class experience — the Nigiri placed in order by the chef for optimal tasting, the staff attention to your water glass, plates, and even small bits of trash. My husband and I will definitely return and come in ready for a feast.

The food is wonderful. Omakase is $160. Total with tips, drinks and extra order, about $250 per. It is quite reasonable for high end sushi in the US. I enjoyed every course, not a single one is disappointing. I eat my Japanese food in San Francisco area. This is one of the best I had. Tasted better than the several Michelin star ones I had tried.
