Sushi Kashiba is Seattle's destination for Japanese fine dining at its highest level. Located next to historic Pike Place Market. Take a coveted seat at the Omakase sushi bar, where you just might find multi-James Beard Award nominated Chef Shiro Kashiba holding court.

Most guests order one of Sushi Kashiba's chef curated sushi dinners. The mix of fresh local fish as well as delicacies from Japan and around the world will satisfy the palette of seasoned sushi fans as well as new entrants into the sushi world. Delicious sushi, but was so loud in there at 5:30 PM on a Monday evening that I could barely hear my dinner companions or the servers. I am in my 30s and have great hearing! It was just way too loud in there and the acoustics are bad.

We had an excellent, knowledgeable waiter who kindly and patiently walked us through the nigiri selection, going back to the kitchen to ensure certain cuts were available. Made the night a very special experience!

I did the omakase dining experience while on vacation in Washington. From start to finish the team and experience was great. Hostesses and waitstaff were extremely nice and accommodating. Our chef took the time to explain each dish and get to know us. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Seattle.

We had an amazing omakase experience with Chef Shiro. We were lucky enough to sit at his side of the counter. Everything we ate was incredible. The service and ambiance were also top tier. Highly recommend!

Nothing compares to this Mecca of sushi and well deserved accolades it has picked up over the 10 years. No other restaurant, any kind, comes close to the experience of this place.

The food was absolutely delicious. We did the Omakase chef's choice tasting menu and it did not dissapoint. We will never be able to eat sushi anywhere else without comparing it to the high bar that Sushi Kashiba set! We were happy to splurge and enjoy a wonderul dining experience to celebrate our honeymoon and our server, Joe, was so kind and helpful with recommending and helping us to select sake and answering all of our questions about the menu and selections.
