Tamura is a Kappo style restaurant where food is prepared in an open kitchen and served quickly in a lively environment where staff and guests talk about the food and beyond. Our goal is to become the very best restaurant to our guests by getting to know them and serving them in a personable yet professional manner. *Please note that a 20% living wage charge is included (dine in only). This place in great. Everyone is very professional and personable. Food and experience was wonderful. This is one of our go to special occasional places and we will likely continue to return.

We booked online 130 per person said included tips. However, we paid 260 for two people plus another 20 present tips added on with unexpected.

Disappointing service at Omakase bar. Didn't feel like the engagement was there that you typically would have with the sushi chef and it wasn't even busy. Awkward staff that didn't say anything to you that huddled around. Noisy print out register nearby for orders. Sushi was pretty good. A variety that was enjoyable but the ambiance just wasn't there which was too bad for my friend's birthday celebration.

This was our first Omakase experience. First I’ll start with the two minor negatives- we were seated around the corner of the bar, which just didn’t feel as comfortable stuck up against the wall. The soup with mushrooms had a few small pieces of grit in it. The fish was incredible though- so fresh and perfectly seasoned. I don’t think I’ve ever had fish that good! Sushi will never be the same! The service was perfect. The chef was positive and friendly. Be prepared to shell out though- 3 people with 3 cocktails, hot tea and no dessert was $600! It was a special experience for us- and the birthday note on the bar was a nice touch.

We sat at the Sushi Bar and ordered the Omakase with the Sake Flight and EVERYTHING was amazing. The Sushi Chefs and servers are very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience and highly recommended.
