A progressive approach executed from a deep history of Kappo and Omakase Edomae Sushi. Two of Japan’s historical culinary concepts brought together combining hyper-seasonal ingredients and premium fish selections direct from our private purveyor inside the world renown Toyosu fish market in Tokyo, Japan. Hashiri’s focus is to exemplify its re-evolving cuisine to showcase Japan’s richest seasonal ingredients.

    Amazing omakase sushi dinner. Friendly and professional team who genuinely want to get to know you. Service does not feel rushed, good ambiance, our favorite Japanese restaurant in the Bay Area.

    It was our first wedding anniversary and had the best time here. The vibe, the chef, the service, and of course the food were top-notch. I would never forget this place and everybody including the chef was very respectful and kind to us. Arigato gozaimasu Chef Toshiaki Ono and Sushi Hashiri. It was an unforgettable night. Thank you so much for everything.

    Chef Ono is amazing is on par with 3 Michelin star sushi restaurants in Tokyo. The best sushi in SF.

    We had a lovely night at Sushi Hashiri for Christmas Eve. We've dined here before pandemic and had a memorable experience, and it was great knowing its reopening. Absolutely enjoying everything, from the food, environment, service, and chatting with Chef Ono-san. Thanks for having us and we'll visit again and get the taste of different seasons of food!
