Sushi Enya is a Japanese sushi restaurant that first opened in the heart of Little Tokyo in Downtown, LA. After five years of perseverance and experimentation in Downtown, LA, we opened our second location in beautiful Old Town Pasadena. Our third location, which opened in 2018, is located in the beach city of Marina Del Rey. Our owner Chef Kimiyasu Enya trained for over 10 years in Japan to perfect his craft. It is our goal to ensure that quality remains consistent and every experience is enjoyable for all guests.

This was out first wedding anniversary dinner, and we did the Omakase menu - it was exceptional. Sushi Enya always has the most excellent food and service. Our favorite restaurant in LA! Thank you for a special dinner.

Food is great! We ordered 5 signatures rolls and 14 nigiri pieces. Fresh and flavors were spot on. The sake collection is adequate. The service is a bit rough. While clearing our dishes, the waitress spilled the sauce all over the table. They basically asked us to leave after 70 minutes despite the fact fact we were enjoying our conversation and the atmosphere. Granted we were done with our meal, I thought that was a bit rushed.

Sooooo good! Service was great, the food was amazing. Everything came out quick, we ordered 4 different rolls and tried different sushi specials of the day. My favorite was the truffle toro and uni!!! We were celebrating and they made us feel very special also sent out a delicious matcha cake at the end of our meal. Next time we’ll be back to try the Omakase! Thank you for everything, such a gem.

Omakase at Sushi Enya is an LA Must do. In a small slice of Tokyo's Shinjuku district in Downtown LA, The experience is incredible and the food is phenomenal. The Itamae is your tour guide through a transformative experience. Tokyo may be one of the most amazing food cities in the world and Sushi Enya definitely embodies that spirit in LA. Take a friend and enjoy the trip; it's well worth the reasonable ticket price to Little Tokyo's Sushi Enya.

We had an amazing time! The staff was attentive and they all worked really well together. They were busy and it seemed like we hardly had to wait for each order. Our sushi chef checked in with us after every order to make sure we liked it. They also asked us ahead of time if there were any allergies or food restrictions. We did omakase experience. It’s definitely something you have to experience at least once in your lifetime. I’m so happy we picked Sushi Enya in Little Tokyo. It was a little over $500 for the omakase experience, two bottles of sake and two extra orders of nagiri. Oh and they also gifted us a bottle of the house sake!

I'm not quite sure why this location got such high ratings. The food would have been ok but for a much lower price. We had the omakase thinking it would be special at about $160-180 per person it was super mediocre. Still a little perplexed... We're not new to omakase but at this place skip it and go with the a la carte menu.

Came here for Omakase on Xmas Eve. I had high hopes because I last year when I came here for omakase it was superb. But today I'm highly disappointed. Food was mediocre, sushi got a lot smaller, rice was stale (or undercooked?) and the sushi man did not seem to have the skills required for a $200/person omakase. Won't be coming back, better go back to my goto Slsushi place - sushi Gen.

Outstanding per usual! Had some friends visit form out of town and my one friend cried from how good the Sushi was 😅 love the atmosphere and the service is always exceptional. The Omasake is a bit pricy but definitely worth getting !

My husband and I did the omakasa dinner. I enjoyed every bit of it and was sufficiently full afterwards. My husband is a picky eater and while he enjoyed much of it, there were a couple things he didn't get into (textures.) The chefs were amazing to watch and personalized my dinner. It's a smaller place than I expected so it was a little crowded, but not crazy. Would recommend and return again.

The Omakase was delicious! The chef selections were amazing. We let him pick whatever he wanted and it was so worth it. I definitely recommend coming here for the Omakase. Fresh, delicious, and such tasty food. It is pricey but worth it if you want the best sushi around.

We had a family get together and appreciated the friendly welcome and great service. The food was delicious! We shared a variety of rolls and ordered some hand rolls and individual plates. All beautifully plated.. especially love the yuzu roll. The mountain potato fries and truffle salt were so good we ordered seconds.
