Endo was by far the purest form of what I believe should be an omakase. While of course the food was the pinnacle of the event ( which was fantastic as expected), Chef Endo and his team are what make the experience pure of heart and soul. While at other restaurants it may feel like a show, an acting performance to serve the highest bidder, Chef Endo and his team make you feel welcome at home so to speak. The attention to care and detail on the waiting staff was as attentive as any Michelin star establishment, however, the intent and passion of their work showed their true care for their craft. You are not just a customer, you are now family stepping into their kitchen like a long time friend. Chef Endo spares no need for introduction, with his many years of experience and effort put into his craft, he is an exceptional example of a great sushi chef and would be a joy to experience again.

Then, the surprise finale: Chef Endo traded his knife for that Fender, delivering soulful blues riffs solo! An unforgettable blend of transcendent omakase, perfect pairings, and pure Austin soul.
