The food was delicious and the waitstaff very attentive
My family and I had brunch at Surisan and the food was outstanding, service was good, same as drinks and ambience.
But the culinary experience is definitely a must.
I would highly recommend Surisan and their famous millionaire bacon is just formidable!
This is more like fusion Korean food. Not as expected. They are very clean and clean up table super often. Portion is very small, first time having fusion Korean food. I will not say it taste bad just not as expected.
Love this place! always come here when I’m in San Francisco
Great place with great food. Try the millionaires bacon, that the best bacon ever. Great atmosphere and fantastic staff.
I chose Surisan as a place to hold my Birthday dinner, and they did not disappoint! The food was excellent. Every dish looked beautiful, and was delicious. I was thoroughly full. The wait staff was perfect, they knew when to come by and be of service, and also gave us space to eat and chat. I really liked the ambiance of the restaurant, it had the right feel of being rustic and warm. A few standout dishes were the Belly Pot, Galbi, as well as the Crackling Guk. It is very hard to find a good Asian restaurant in this part of town, because it is mostly associated with out of town tourists, but that is what makes this place very unique. Would definitely come here again.
Excellent service. Kind of a mixed American and Korean menu. Breakfast looked awesome. We had strictly Korean and it was very good. Kimchi should be free with Korean meals. Panju was excellent served in a cast iron pan sizzling! Other dishes were also served piping hot. Unexpected for touristy location.
I love Surisan! I wish that I would’ve been seated a little bit further away from the larger parties as it was quite loud for me as a single diner.
Great food, nice atmosphere.
Excellent Korean fusion.
Million dollar bacon!!!! Great good, good value and great service.
The food was really good. I would definitely recommend it, and is now one of my favorite places in San Francisco
Great friendly service. Delicious food!
Excellent food the service is outstanding explained the menu
My colleagues and I enjoyed the food but after spending $225 we were told the bill could only be split two ways. This is not posted on their website or their restaurant upon entering. This is 2019 and we only wanted to split three ways. There was no accommodation made or acknowledgement of their lack of customer service. In fact, we ordered bacon flight prominently posted on the restaurant entrance displaying four pieces to only get two. We let that go until the bill arrived. We were told we ordered the wrong bacon flight when there was only one on the menu. This is just representative of the lack of customer set. The restaurant was not that busy to be that I accommodating. #epicfail
Restaurant coréen original et à proximité de notre hôtel
My girlfriends and I got together for dinner at this location and we were definitely pleased with the service and the food. Three out of the four of us ordered the dolsot (seafood, spicy pork, and tofu) and all were very tasteful.
Amazing meal, tasteful and great service. Did I mention the price was fair? This is a must go place, especially if you want to skip the tourist option over Pier 39.
We had a great brunch here! The black stone Benedict was amazing!
Added tip to our bill though two of the six total were toddlers. Food was ok, service was bad, didn't understand what we were asking half the time and gave us the check before dessert even came out.
Had a broken chip of glass in the water and didn’t even apologize. They wouldn’t move me to another table that was empty (the table was wobbly and i felt like i was in the middle of the walkway and entrance). food was okay.
Snotty greeter, harried servers, but very innovative and tasty nouveau Korean. Extremely noisy as the interior is all hard surfaces. Conversation is virtually impossible. Refreshingly not touristy. Priced a bit high, but understandable in that area.
Our server was excellent. Very attentive and available for assistance. The ambiance is amazing. Perfect date night restaurant. The food is delicious and very filling.
Amazing, inventive food and super friendly service.
Made a 730 reservation called the restaurant to say i would be 10 to 15 min late. I was not asked my name or anything basically was dismissed off the phone. When we arrived they had given away our table and no one even looked at me for 15 min. Its clear they do not care about the customer experience
NOT as good second time as first time, good but it was far from WOW.
Amazing fantastic breakfast, if you are a tourist and stay in the area, use this as your go to place for breakfast. Amazing food, super polite service and prices and reasonable.
Wonderful time here at Surisan, a must go!
Service was great. Food was very good. Kimchi oddly wasn’t spicy at all.
Nice Korean dishes. I was surprised because most of them were quite authentic. But the servers were not 'very attentive' but was not bad- the restaurant was quite busy and noisy today. We had to raise our voices.
Pseudo Korean food and extremely overpriced. Not what I had expected.
Excellent service, excellent food! We ate there twice while visiting San Francisco.
All around great experience. Excellent food comes really fast.
The food was amazing! But the staff definitely gets overwhelmed for service since they’re always busy.
The best place for breakfasts and lunches, dinners are also not bad but, not comparing to breakfasts. Stuff is awesome, food is delicious.
It's not a traditional Korean restaurant, so I feel a little sweet. But it will be rather good to others, not Koreans.
We booked Surisan as it was just around the corner from our hotel (Hyatt Centric) and it looked much more interesting than the usual chains around the Fisherman’s Wharf area. The food was great and the restaurant seemed to be busy with lots of locals, rather than just tourists (like us!). Our server was very efficient and friendly. Only slight negative is that it seemed fairly expensive.
Really lovely restaurant- a cut above the rest in fisherman’s wharf area. I’m vegetarian and they were very accommodating giving me many options that weren’t advised as vegetarian.
Was a great dinner while on vacation. Enjoyed it very much.
Awesome place and great food concept. Staff is awesome!!!
