Our restaurant is open for dinner everyday starting at 5pm. We proudly serve beautifully presented Lebanese dishes, cocktails and have the largest list of Chateau Musar wines in Philadelphia!
Our garden is open! Stop in today and enjoy the warmth and culture of Suraya.
From start to finish, a wonderful meal. Fresh ingredients, interesting flavors and textures, all cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come back.
Was a fantastic meal and the service was amazing. Would absolutely recommend to everyone and come again.
This was the third time we have been to Suraya and we were always very happy with our meal. Unfortunately, this time I can't say the same. We ordered
the same thing we had last time Fatteh for an appetizer and Kwarma for dinner.
the Kwarma was over cooked and so dry, the side of Vegetables were burnt, the Fatteh had two many nuts and not enough
taste. Even the Middle eastern bread that I love was dry. Sorry but not sure I will go back.
The couple we were with have also been there a few times and were very disappointed.
Bad night for Restaurant, Pocketbook and PALATE .
My husband and I were excited to have lunch in the garden after our fairly long taxi ride from center city. When we arrived we were told they weren’t seating people out side today. So we ended up ordering and serving ourselves from the counter to carry out front. Food was good with a nice Blanc de Blanc sparking. The whole experience wasn’t so great since this was a bit out of our way and self service.
One of the best meals I have had yet. Service, decor and food are top notch. Highly recommend the tasting menu for dinner.
Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and great service!
Best restaurant in Philly. The food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. I cannot rave about this restaurant enough.
Incredible service from the moment I stepped into the restaurant. The ambience and the scents set the tone for a wonderful experience. The presentation of my dish was beautiful and the taste of the food was incredible. A must when visiting Philadelphia.
Food is amazing
Service is slow and server had attitude. He was quite sarcastic. Not appreciated.
Drinks are small
Food though is absolutely wonderful
Incredible! Decor is great. Wait staff were on point; our waitress was adorable. Food was fantastic. The desert was delicious. Love everything about this place. To the owners and managers, thank you for such a well executed experience.
Exquisite cuisine and service. We got the tasting menu and it lived up to the hype. Our server knew the menu well. She could elaborate on how meals were prepared and could make recommendations based on what we told her we wanted. The wine list is interesting- who knew Morocco had wine? The red pepper salad was our favorite of the salads. The rhubarb dessert with olive oil cake was something to celebrate. And our main courses delivered on taste, execution, and presentation. This was a graduation dinner and these folks made it special. Ambiance is low lighting; the kind that makes everyone handsome, but you can easily see the menu, your food, etc. while crowded, we had no trouble hearing each other and did not hear out neighbor’s conversation. Just go- it’s a gastronomic treat.
Delicious food, good array of choices, great service, but a little cold and noisy.
Brunch date! Food and service were excellent and the ambiance in the courtyard is peaceful.
Came here 2 days in row for brunch. Service stands out. Order family style and you can try a lot of different dishes.
I had to stop myself from licking the plates.
I have been to Suraya multiple times and have been pleased and impressed every time with the fabulous food, outstanding staff, and wonderful ambiance. Go with friends so you can share as many dishes as possible - everything is wonderful and unique!
Amazing! Food was incredible and the service was outstanding.
My husband and I, two foodies, visited Philly from DC for a quick weekend getaway. I was conflicted at first for making a reservation at a Lebanese restaurant rather than spending every meal on my traditional Philly foods like cheesesteaks and pork sandwiches. So glad we found Suraya -- it quickly became the high point of the trip. The food was out of this world. Every dish was amazing. The smallest details delighted and surprised. For example, the sauce under my fish apparently had chestnuts in it (which I normally do not go crazy for) and it was so delicious I scooped up every last bit. The rhubarb dessert was amazing -- my kind of dessert 100%. And the mezze....gotta love the mezze. I should not neglect to mention how well executed the service was -- a great team, very professional, friendly, and efficient. This place is a must-go-to!
This was my first visit and far from my last! I can most assuredly say that this was one of the 2-3 best meals I've ever had. Everything was perfection perhaps with the exception of my entree which I felt was overcooked, but still very tasty. My dining partner loved her fish entree! We had the tasting menu which was very abundant and one dish was better than the next. My standout was the Fattah which is one of the mezze plates! I can still taste it!
It was our second time at suraya and we can't say enough about it. We were 30 minutes late due to traffic and although crowded they sat us immediately. Service was prompt and engaging. The staff is personable, knowledgeable and just gets it. Drinks are delicious, cocktails and wine. And the food is beautiful to eye and an absolute flavor smash. Love the place.
Took my dad for his birthday! We both have never eaten at a al Lebanese place before. We both being part Lebanese were interested to try! AMAZING! Food was fresh and delicious! Service was amazing! Beautiful place and garden outside! We did the tasting menu called Taste of Suraya! Def recommend! Will be back!!!
Loved the back patio too! Service was great and friendly. The pastries to die for.
AMMAAZZINGGG! Definitely one of my TOP favorite's in Philadelphia. Came for lunch to celebrate my mom's birthday over lunch with my sister. The drinks were delicious -- my mom and I got the Gin cocktail on the menu and my sister ordered a mule. We ordered a variety of things to share including the Mezze plate which was out of this world along with the beet salad which were two favorites. Our waiter was attentive and even brought my mom a celebratory croissant for her birthday. Definitely worth the trip from center city for lunch -- I look forward to going back soon.
The restaurant is beautiful and the food is great. My only complaint is the hostess(s) were very pretentious and borderline rude. A little friendliness goes a long way, ladies....
I’m conflicted on this place - and this review. I love the ambiance. It’s gorgeous and the outside garden exquisite in full bloom. The staff are warm and welcoming. And, they have delicious drinks. My huge disappointment is the pita which was dry and cold - on two occasions. And, as pita is the foundation for their delicious mezze like starters, hard to order around. I loved the swordfish. And, on my first visit the hamachi was divine and chicken fabulous. On this visit, the swordfish was again delicious. The chicken was a bit dry and disappointing. I would recommend it. But, I hope someday they figure out pita or flatbread worthy of the delicious dishes it comes with.
It’s amazing. The food was perfect, the service was great and very knowledgeable staff. Great time with my friend, easy to chat even tho the place was packed. Can’t wait to go back!!
Suraya is just a win, all around. The decor and ambiance are lovely and the food is phenomenal. We got the tasting menu this time around and I cannot recommend it enough/
Amazing food! We loved it! The service was excellent and the place is beautiful. It is a bit loud, but the food was so good, it was worth it! Definitely we come back soon.
This is the best restaurant in the city! Every single thing I've ever eaten (or drank) here has been incredible. Two thumbs way up!
We went for surprise Mother’s Day Iftar. My mother and auntie greatly enjoyed themselves! I ordered them nonalcoholic “builder of bridges” and they were delighted! We had the hummus, Baba ghanoush, labneh, muhammidah, grape leaves, mushrooms, and desserts. They said this would be the best food they had all Ramadan! They are looking forward to returning.
The food was fantastic, but I feel as if it was overpriced. Portions are small but the flavor is rich. It is a personal preference if you can afford a fancy restaurant price then this place is definitely for you.
Food an d service was amazing! Great place for brunch.
Suraya is our favorite new restaurant in Philadelphia. We have eaten brunch and dinner there and were equally impressed with both.
This was our second time. Food, wine, service--everything was excellent! Service was helpful and attentive without being intrusive. It was the perfect place in every way for catching up with our friends! Thanks!
We celebrated our anniversary with a lovely brunch. It was absolutely perfect! They cannot improve on perfection! Thank you!
Food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding. Looking forward to coming back again soon!
First time there it was very crowded and we were seated in a small room. We waited a long time for our food but it was well worth it. I would recommend it to any one interested in a good time. I know we our party of five will go again.
Waitress was amazing in explaining the different dishes and wine recommendations. Flavorful and interesting with gorgeous decor. We loved the garden area!
One of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. The ambiance, food and service was incredible!
We were very impressed with the decor. The bakery kiosk was a nice touch. The kitchen oven and observable cooking areas were awesome. Food was exquisite, especially the bread. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Can't wait to return.
