    Made a reservation and had to wait 20 minutes to be sat, even though restaurant was near empty. We were told to wait at the bar. The bartender was talking at the end of the bar and did not come to ask our drink order. Was finally sat and the service was very slow, took about 30-45 minutes to put in a food order and everything came out so slow. Desert order took 20 minutes to get and it was the wrong order. We were there for almost 3 hours. Although I was excited to eat here because of the show, you can tell that the popularity of the show means that quality and value are now unnecessary. It’s pretty expensive for food that was dying under a heat lamp while the wait staff chit chatted and hung out with peter.

    The best Brunch ever. My friend and I flew down just to visit SUR and it lived up to all of the hype! Guillermo was especially lovely to meet! Can’t wait to go back!

    Honestly significantly better than I expected. Assumed that with the show they would've gotten busier and had a tough time keeping up the actual quality. The service was timed just right, the food was delicious and versatile. A little pricey, but on par with the neighborhood. They are also very cool about the show. Wanna take a picture of the alley? the fountain? no problem. The decor in the main dining needs a little spruce though. Its getting a little dated and dusty. Drinks were 10/10 best part though!

    It was a lovely experience! The goat cheese balls were the MVP and I had a great branzino. My only complaint was that they did not mention or celebrate the birthday that was listed on the reservation. Overall a fun experience

    Amazing! The food was exceptional and our server Danni was amazing. Coming from Australia it was food we are used to eating. Portion sizes were very big and the flavours were incredible. I went as a vanderpump rules fan, however I took 3 people who had no idea and they were so glad I dragged them along as it was the best meal they have had in the US so far.

    The menu is enticing, and the food & drinks are excellent. The service is most welcoming, pleasant, and very efficient. The staff was perfect in making sure that our visit was comfortable and enjoyable. Would not hesitate to return!

    Gabby was a wonderful server who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was magnificent! I will go back the next time I’m in LA because of her!! The food was honestly great, the steak and lobster mashed was out of this world! The octopus and bread basket couldn’t have been more delicious! Everything we ate was phenomenal. Great place to eat and end our LA trip!!!

    The hostess made us feel like a burden, we were raced to the back of the restaurant and sat at a table that needed to be pitched out and a new one bought. Peter was kind and taking photos with everyone. Our server, she had long brown hair, super cute, was an absolute doll. Loved the LVP rosè. The hazelnut pancakes were a tad dry and we were told if there were any specials. (I’m assuming not for brunch) overall, I’ll keep watching the show but I don’t know if I’ll visit SUR again.

    The food was all delicious and came out at a good time. Loved the ambiance as well. Did not enjoy the end of my experience here, however. I brought my cousin here for her 21st birthday and the server was informed about the special occasion. We had no idea what time the restaurant was closing so I guess that’s something we should’ve been prepared for but when we were ready to order dessert the server told us the kitchen was closed. It would’ve been nice to have been given a heads up so that we can have the opportunity to order something. I work in the industry so I understand the kitchen closing is not in the servers control but giving their guests the opportunity for a last call is something I feel should be a non negotiable. Our servers excuse for this was that she didn’t want to “interrupt our conversation.” Odd. The table next to us overheard this conversation and also had to double check/ask our server if the kitchen was closed so doesn’t look like other tables were informed either. Kind of a bummer and have never experienced that at a restaurant before. Also was charged an extra $90 on my bill, doesn’t match at all what my original receipt said. Have been calling and emailing the restaurant since then and no one responds….

    Service was amazing, cannot fault it. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food overall was fantastic however, as an entree I ordered the shrimp and couscous. This was disappointing as the shrimp were very small and obviously farmed, frozen, not fresh. We have this feedback to the staff, who understood and passed the message on. The atmosphere is beautiful except for the group on the table near us who’s conversation volume was yelling.

    Ik keek er zo naar uit, de enige avond in LA, wat een deceptie! De medewerkers waren ongeïnteresseerd, deden wat ze moesten doen, geen lol onderling, zaten in de fel verlichte keuken te kijken, alles stond Schots en scheef, onderhoud aan restaurant lang geleden gedaan zo zag het eruit, de glamour die ooit was is weg en we zaten voor ons gevoel in een kantine…

    SUR had a beautiful setting with lovely servers. The food was very delicious and served beautifully. I have watched Vanderpump rules since the beginning and it was such a nice experience to come from Australia and be able to eat here.

    Didn't meet expectations. Was quite. Ordered two Americans. We're cold when served to us. Ordered bread. Waiter pretended to understand. No bread came out. 10 minutes later we ask where the bread - had to ask 3 different people before bread came out. Then charged us for the bread. We just wanted small bit of bread not 18 dollars bread roll with 2 sauces.

    The ambiance is excellent, the drink, appetizers and dessert were good, but entrees fell flat. I’d only recommend if you’re a Vanderpump fan, otherwise I wouldn’t call Sur a must-see spot.

    Went to Sur for brunch. The menu was unoriginal and nothing was impressive. We had the goat cheese balls and the burgers. Both were average and nothing to go crazy about. Was really disappointed with this experience. Staff was nice but our waitress looked like she just rolled out of bed. I had higher expectations and was disappointed. Very overrated

    Service was great and staff was super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is always beautiful so I appreciate that. I just thought the food was pretty mid. I used to come here often and it just didn’t taste as great. None of my friends really liked their food.

    We made a reservation for 5 so we arrived a bit early but were able to check-in and enjoy a drink in the bar area. The restaurant is cozy and just beautiful. Everything from the staff to the food to the water was perfection. I am definitely coming back in the future to try more of the delicious food and cocktails.

    Average restaurant filled with over-enthusiastic tourists. Pretty much what you'd expect I guess. The food was edible, but then you don't go there for the food. There are many restaurants in LA like this one and they are all totally underwhelming. It's a bit dull and not really worth writing about.

    As a longtime VPR fan, it was amazing to experience this gem in real life. Though people usually hate on the food, I found it to be quite enjoyable. The ambiance was amazing, service was on point, and our waiter even brought my table a sparkler to celebrate mine and my best friend’s college graduation. I came from Denver to eat here, and I wouldn’t mind making the trek once more to experience it all again. Plus, we saw Peter! And took a photo with him! A perfect way to close out the night.
