Thoughtfully prepared food drawing inspiration from Braddock, its people, its history and its perseverance. The cuisine will best represent the eclectic style which has become a trademark of Chef Kevin Sousa.

very creative and delicious plates. can't wait to go back and try other dishes.
Excellent food and service as always!
Awesome, and incredibly fresh and bright food. Everything comes out looking and tasting delicious. It's creative, high end, yet casual. Great service. Fun drinks. A gem.
Absolutely delicious gourmet food, expertly prepared using healthy, varied fresh ingredients. A culinary delight, the atmosphere is also terrific, and the service superlative. A "must"!
Fantastic experience, excellent evening. We will return soon.
Thank you for a great experience.
Perfect, great service, such unique flavors, wonderful meal
This is classic Kevin Sousa. Very much like Salt or early Red Room
Early on a Sunday, before the rush so nice quiet meal. Service was excellent. The staff really knows the menu, is attentive and timely and very friendly. The food and drink were outstanding. Everything we tried we really enjoyed and savored. Well worth a visit and many returns.
Over the top. Excellent food and service.
The food was amazing! We tried something from every option and each had an amazing flavor and presentation! Speciality drinks are always delicious. The atmosphere is always cozy and mild in noise so you can hear your conversation. The entire staff that we interacted with our superb.
Another excellent and visually stunning meal at Superior Motors. Service was spot on. The Rabbit Rillettes were outstanding! Lamb Sugo was ample portion and delicious.
Always excellent!
delicious food, cool space, great service. Some of the best raw fish in the city. Love going on a Wednesday or Thursday, when they often offer fixed price tasting menus and other specials!
Service a little too slow.
My kind of place, sheet warehouse atmosphere, the waitress was spectacular, new the answer to every question we had from appetizer thru desert. Prompt efficient and polite. The food was fresh and delicious. The noise level was a bit high but not bad. I will be back.
We sat at the bar and were able to see the chefs as well as the bartenders. This made things interesting and lively, but it might be difficult to have conversations with more than 2 or 3 people. Food was creative and delicious. We ordered 5 dishes that were a combination of courses and shared them all. We left with our bellies and palates very pleased.
We really enjoyed our visit. We have been looking forward to going for some time and it was worth the trip. The food was excellent, as was the service, and the ambiance. I love where it is located as well. Not only does the area need an economic shot in the arm, but the steel plant made it a cool, industrial sort of experience. We will go again for sure.
Superior Motors deserves a Michelin Star. It doesn't have one, but that's your benefit because it's way less expensive than most Starred restaurants. You cannot go wrong here. All food and drinks are phenomenal.
Very friendly staff, from the moment we walked in, our table was ready. Our waiter was wonderful and everyone loved their dinner! Will definitely go again!
Flavors were rich and new and certainly above anything we've had of late. Very talented chef extremely attentive staff very nice ambience
Just moved to Pittsburgh from Dallas, TX - - This is the best restaurant we have explored so far! Loved the whole experience and can't wait to go back.
This was our third or fourth visit. Wonderful service and ambiance. It pains me to write, cuisine was nothing exceptional. No new flavors, nothing that made you take a moment and put down your fork. We are fairly sophisticated people (believe me or not, I do not care) and do not mind small portions. The portions were comically so.
The food was very good! The servers were excellent, and Sunday evening was the perfect time to come
The food and drinks were wonderful. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were knowledgeable, helpful, encouraged us to try new things, and personable.
Nice restaurant in a struggling part of town. Parking is mostly on the street. The restaurant is not well marked except for the "Braddock" neon sign on the end of the building; the restaurant name is embossed on the glass entry door but is hard to see at night; we knew it was a restaurant from looking in the window. We noticed other apparent first time patrons had the same trouble. Inside, we were seated at a corner table such that our seats were at adjacent sides with mine awkwardly facing the neighboring table, leaving me feeling included in their private space. I wonder if they felt the same. The view out the window is a giant, belching steel factory on the other side of Braddock Ave. The inside decor is modern industrial, which is in vogue today, and completely in character in the former auto dealership. I thought it was nice but my wife was less impressed (she just doesn't like the style). Our server was subtly annoying, perhaps because he wasn't personable and didn't seem to explain things very well. The lighting was very low making reading the menu difficult, especially for older folks who forgot their reading glasses. As a vegetarian, I was pleased the menu identified suitable options with a 'V' - however, all of them were "starters". The promptly served food was excellent; very creative and stylish. I had heard good things about the chef and was not the least bit disappointed. Our dinner for two people came to $90 including the tip but no drinks. All in all, it was a positive experience with the aforementioned caveats.
Everything was amazing!
Went for Valentine’s Day and was put at a broken table. All the tables were wedged in to get as many people as possible which left us being bumped by everyone and people’s hips knocking into our table and plates. Very poorly done, it came down to making money instead of keeping the customers happy, comfortable and coming back. This was the third time there and by far the worst. I felt sorry for the servers who were constantly getting yelled at because of the poor setup.
This was my second time there. I have not been impressed either time. There are way too many good restaurants in Pittsburgh now to make this trip again.
Valentine’s Date with our good friends.
Came here for Valentine’s Day. But have been wanting to come here for a year now so we took the gamble and went.
This place is worth every penny! I will be back. I think the simple menu was my favorite part! Everything tasted amazing.
Great food with great service I was really surprised and enjoyed my experience!!!!
Brilliant and warm, as always. A perfect Valentine’s dinner. Thanks.
Some of the best food we’ve had in Pittsburgh! We both enjoyed our starters immensely. I had lamb and my husband had crab, both incredible! The portion was very modest for the crab but my lamb was a healthy portion. Our main dish was also incredible! My husband had the pork with a cheese addition and I had beef with smoked potatoes. The beef had a few tough pieces at the end that were over cooked but the center pieces were juicy and delicious. We ended the meal with strawberries and cream. It was so decadent! But if you like dessert and want to feel like you ate a normal amount, don’t share. It was definitely a portion for one :) def give it a try if you are in Pittsburgh! Well done Chef Sousa!
We had a very nice time! The music was a little too modern and disruptive for the meal, but they changed it to some jazz at some point and that was perfect. Loved the mocktails and excellent service from the wait staff, even on a super busy night. I hope for more vegan options in the future!
Fantastic Valentine’s Day treat
Our second time to Superior Motors after first visiting on a busy restaurant week night. This was a quiet sunday night with excellent, relaxed service and beautifully presented tasty food. We really enjoy Superior Motors.
Enjoyed the food however because of the cost will keep it for special occasions only
Amazing place to eat and experience fine dining
The food was superb! Amazing flavors. Dan was super knowledgeable about all of the plates and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Blondie was a little underwhelming but it did not detract from our 5 star dining experience. Would definitely go again.
Some truly stand out dishes that were expertly crafted and presented. My cocktail was stellar as well. Some courses outshined others, but dessert missed the mark for me. I have worked in bakeries for much of my career, so I may be a picky customer in that department, but the savory plates were delicious. Unique industrial/urban/modern vibe, service was impeccable. Wonderful place for a birthday dinner. For the level of service and quality of cooking I would say that the price was right. Had a nice dinner for two with one drink each for $125 total. Would recommend.
